I love Mitch but what happens when they starting fouling him immediately whenever he gets an offensive rebound? Not sure how this hasn’t happened yet…
dude has a 26 offensive rebounding percentage. More than a quarter of the time the Knicks miss, he’s rebounding it and giving them a second chance and a lot of those second chances are fairly easy putbacks or recycled possessions against a scrambled defense. The highest qualifying competitor is Jalen Duren with a 16 ORB percentage. He’s such a weapon.
This team is so special. After decades of lackluster role players who I always believed could be difference makers, guys like Mitch make New York basketball so exciting
