How in on this green earth would the Pirates even come close to topping the Phillies?
In all seriousness, why would any player of value sign in Pitt? Oh, yes, I’d like to spend the next 5 years wondering why I signed with this bush league franchise.
Hate to burst the Bucco optimists’ bubble, but they’re going after him like I’m going after fluency in Spanish by rewatching Narcos with subtitles on.
I can’t wait for them to almost sign this guy. The FO will say that they had the second best offer and JUST missed out on him.

The As or Os need to get in on that so that the list of team logos can spell something interesting. BCCPP isn’t much to work with.

I get the cynicism, but, if we’re being perfectly honest here, I’m slightly aroused just seeing that logo on there.
If we get Schwarber, I will personally wrestle every pierogi in a no holds barred cage match with my hands tied behind my back.
