The Rangers fall short against the Lightning losing 4-1 and ending their 3 game win streak. The Lightning win now extends Tampa’s streak is at 7 straight wins. The Blueshirts were only able to get 13 shots on net which was a season low. The Rangers look to bounce back Tuesday Dec 2nd – as they take on the Dallas Stars at The Garden.

  4. Honestly, its just disappointing. Its bizarre that a team can play well on the road, yet struggle this bad at home. The thing that bothers me the most about this loss is the fact that you star defenseman gets injured by the same player who posted 2 goals and yet the Rangers don't even bother to engage with Hagel. I'm not saying you have to fight him, but for God's sake show some effing care. The Ranger players just accepted it, no care, no response… nothing. At the very least get in Hagels face and give him a shove, nope not one Ranger did anything… Pathetic.

  6. Something is seriously wrong with this team conditioning. They are not the oldest team in the league, but they sure play like it. What's troubling is that even younger players like Lafreniere, Cuylle seem to be slower than they used to be. I'd also say Laba is getting progressively slower this season.
    I'd like to see what HC has to say about it.

  13. This team is made up to fail. There is no star on this team. Laffy has been around panerin too much to be a star. He doesn’t defend he doesn’t work hard in his profession in the off season. He is just there to collect a paycheck. Just like the rest of them.

    Miller went through the pro forma list of excuses .
    They always know why they lost and what they're not doing , they just don't have the first clue how to correct it.
    Remember Boston were missing their two best players.

  16. I can't understand how at this level EFFORT is an issue. Guys getting paid millions, most over paid to boot, and you can't give effort. My beer league team could get more than 11 shots on goal. Pathetic. I'm the schmuck that swore I wasn't paying for a ticket package bc of last yr and did. Waste of money. Get your sh1t together and let's have some accountability. Sit a few of the stars already

    And then, maybe ticket prices will tank.

    There's literally no reason a ticket in the 300s section should be $150-200.

    $500 in the 100s section.

    Especially for this Staten Island dump of a team.

    Example: if i wanna go see Tampa, in Tampa, vs. Florida…$50 for 300s section.

  18. Last february, the Penguins, without Crosby and Malkin, came at MSG, outworked the Rangers (Panarin, Zzz, Lafy) and beat them 3-2. Yesterday, it was worse and we saw what a real star, a superstar, in Kucherov, can do.
