Arthur Smith has to be the most uninspiring offensive mind out there.
My dream would be Shula and for him to bring in someone from the rams front office. The rams have been a master class on how to rebuild your team with no first round picks and no salary cap lmao.
In contrast we have been one of the worst salary cap teams yet also one of the worst drafting teams over the last 15 years.

How is Klint Kubiak not mentioned? Second in the league in scoring in his first year with Darnold and one real receiver.
Between McCarthy, Nagy, or the worst of them all, Arthur Smith, we’re going to be in coaching hell yet again if we go with some of these brutal retreads. Maybe we can just cut to the chase and bring in Jeff Fischer at this point.
I don’t think the Giants can go with another “well regarded” offensive / defensive coordinator. It needs to be an established head coach.

The Arthur Smith comment is ridiculous. Tannehill turned his career around with the Titans, yes, but he’s not a QB guy and refused to develop a QB with the Falcons when it was clear Ridder didn’t have it. He’s a running game dude.

My thought on this is, whoever we hire, I hope he hires the right assistants that will help actually develop our players and put them in the right positions to be effective and display their strengths. Take the defense while Daboll was hc. We had Wink and Bowen. Neither were good. Wink didn’t see a play he didn’t want to blitz, no matter what anyone could tell him. And Bowen, he is just terrible. I don’t think Bowen knows how to scheme a defense
