Ridly Greig, Jake Sanderson, Travis Green Postgame Media vs DAL

Yeah, it definitely wasn’t pretty. Uh I think this is one of those games. Got to turn the page and get ready for the next one. And uh after the in the second period specifically, you guys get the equalizer, they score less than a minute left. What how important was that moment in the game specifically? Yeah, it’s definitely a killer. Uh I thought we probably could have had more life tonight. Uh you know, it’s the at the end of a road trip here, so got to find some life first for the next one. And for you personally, you get back out there. How did you feel early on in the game getting your legs under you out there tonight? Yeah, it’s definitely uh it’s never easy. Um, but you got to manage the game and, you know, get the legs going. Uh, but yeah, I think overall I felt all right being back with the guys overall generally. What are you hoping to achieve as you work your way back in the lineup here the next few games? Yeah, well, I think just focus on the two points next game. Uh, other than that, uh, nothing crazy. Um, but yeah, first off, Sandy, just what’ you see out there tonight from the group? Uh, I thought, you know, after after two periods, we’re down and uh, you know, we we had some plays that we didn’t like, but we’re still in the game at that point. And, uh, you know, we had another period to play and um, you know, they come out and kind of just take over the game. Starts with their power play. Um, they won the special teams battle tonight. I think I thought our power play honestly kind of drained some of our game. just not sharp, not crispy. Um, you know, you never know if we get one on the power play, get a little momentum and the game changes. So, um, you know, I think that’s on us for sure. In the second frame specifically, you guys get the equalizer off of a good shift in the Ozone, they get one less than a minute later. How much of a sway momentum maybe was that moment specifically? Yeah, it’s tough. um especially you know right uh right before the period ends but you know we got to you know learn to change or turn the page and uh yeah just going to the dressing room reset and like I said uh you know there was a lot of game left to play. Ridley comes back in the lineup here tonight progressively getting guys back with Brady and Ridley. What do you take from that specific area going on the rest of this trip and over the next few weeks as well? It’s good. Yeah. Um, you know, it’s tough for for guys to miss a lot of time and uh, you know, Ridley to to miss a lot of time and and come into a game without even practicing with us. And, you know, I thought he brought a lot of energy and life for us. Um, and, you know, he’s going to keep getting better every game. Stuff Travis, what did you see from the team’s game here tonight? Well, actually, I liked our first two periods. Um, you know, I think we gave up 10 shots, five on five the first two periods. Probably were a little unlucky to be down three to one. uh they get the one the deflection that was going wide and obviously you know Timmy would like to have the one back that Roberts had scored and um I thought if we can get a little life in the third with uh that first power play it could have changed the game and unfortunately it wasn’t good enough and uh we took a penalty and they scored and that was probably probably the the game right there. Andy spoke a little bit about special teams and the matchups uh here tonight. What do you see from that area of the team’s game? Well, if you want to beat a team like this, you want to win the special teams game, especially on the road. Uh we talked about not taking penalties. We end up taking four. And uh they’re too good a team to be minus two in that department. You mentioned a little bit that goal that Robertson scores in the second. You guys get one to equalize. They get one back. Maybe a flip momentum at that point in the game as well. Yeah, you know, I don’t I don’t think there was a lot of momentum. I know they got a couple goals, but it, you know, I thought the first two periods were there’s a, you know, there’s a couple plays that we’d like to have back for sure. Um, yeah, that’s what I saw

  1. Turned that shit off after the 2nd period bc I knew how the game was gonna go. Brady comes back and the team goes back to playing a lifeless game with no redeeming qualities. Thought losing to the bottom of the barrel in St. Louis might get you guys to give your head a shake but nope. No excuses for tonight’s loss. You owe your fans a couple commanding wins now.

  2. Another tough watch. From the fan chair looks like not enough of the team are gamers right now; too many players with ice-level seats, whatever their reason. Next game is in the Bell Centre? Bon chance — gsg.

  3. ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️ stop to watch after the 4th goal …😢
Come on guys!! That was a 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩 performance

Hope you will show something in Mtl and not another loss against Them 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

  4. I get this is a long road trip boys are feeling it but like come on expect a better performance than that. It was so bad I had to turn it off after the 3rd goal 😢. Come on boys step up and finish this road trip with a win against the habs. 🙏
