What a game from Ernest Jones IV: 12 tackles and two INTs, including an 85-yard TD, to help the Seahawks defense to their first shutout since the LOB days.

  1. He’s having an All-Pro season. I still remember when some fans were mad about the draft capital we gave up for him. He’s also only 26

  2. Coincidentally, the last time the Seahawks shutout an opponent it was also 26-0, against the Bears on September 27, 2015.

Kam Chancellor returned for that game after ending his holdout. Richard Sherman was extremely dominant, allowing just one reception and breaking up another pass. Bobby Wagner and Bruce Irvin shared a sack, and Cliff Avril filled up the box score with a sack, TFL, pass defended, and two QB hits. K.J. Wright led the team with 10 tackles. It was also a notable game because Marshawn was limited due to an injury, while Thomas Rawls went off for over 100 yards. Tyler Lockett had a 105-yard kickoff return TD, while Sherm also returned a punt for 64 yards.

  3. I don’t give a fuck who was playing, blanking a team in the NFL is flat out fucking impressive.

  4. I bumped into him at Bellevue Square yesterday and I was at the game today. I’d like to think I contributed haha. What an amazing game from him!!

  5. That pass was such a new Qb classic. Thinking he’s gonna make his career on an insane perfectly thrown underhand fastball to the TE who waltzes into the end zone while defensive players look around confused. But in reality it’s just another pan to coach with hands on forehead yelling, “NO NOOOOO …” And then just closes his eyes, bends down thinking “no.”

  6. This might have been discussed elsewhere, but anyone know what happened when he was hurt on a play late in the game? I didn’t see any mention of an injury in the news so hoping he’s totally fine and just got the wind knocked out of him for a sec?
