Another quick reminder: Dallas traded Luka to us and we only gave up 1 FRP.
Quick reminder: Saucetin Reaves is being paid $13M this year.
One more: LeBron James is our THIRD BEST PLAYER.
Last one: LA has the best japanese players in the NBA and MLB.
Another one: Mark Walters now owns the Lakers.

Reaves gotta be the best contract in the NBA by far. 13m for star level production.
No they paid him 25 million. He forfeited 10. Still though
You may just be exaggerating it but it’s kinda disrespectful discounting AD and Max. They’re worth atleast 6 picks at the time of trade.
A good problem for sure – but the irony is we need ayton to play himself out of this contract for the lakers to be successful. And that seems to be happening thus far. Playoffs will be the intimate tell
Next year is a player option. Which he’ll likely decline
All this so to say. A good problem to have. Having ayton off a buy out vs mark Williams where the lakers had to give up assets…was a great move
This is part of the reason they need to win this year. While they are gonna be overpaying for Lebron based on the production they’ll get this year, they are getting major deals on Ayton and Reaves.
I dont know exactly how their cap will break down exactly but it looks like if they didn’t re-sign Lebron, theyll be using that money on their own players anyways.
Thanks Blazers, because I kinda feel bad that even Vando & Maxi get paid more while his load is heavier
He’s most definitely an upgrade from last year. The team still needs to improve the bench
I’m not kidding when I say Ayton is the only guy in the league who could make a Wilson ball blush. Every time he dribbles, the seams just… shiver. Every time he goes for a layup, the rim moans like it’s been waiting its whole sad life for him. His hands are so soft he could touch a cactus and the cactus would probably feel insecure.
Sometimes I watch him practice and I just… I don’t even know. I’m sitting in my room in my underwear, eating dry cereal straight from the box, and that ball is getting treated better than I ever will. It’s probably giggling when he bounces it. Me? I’m over here dribbling on my carpet, pretending it’s Ayton noticing me.
Honestly, I’ve stopped pretending I matter. If Ayton ever walked into my apartment and looked at my wife, I’d just… step aside. Like, please sir, take care of her, she deserves it. He’d love her better than I ever could. And me? I’d just sit in the corner, quietly crying, thinking about how the same guy whose hands make basketballs feel alive could probably fix my entire pathetic life while I rot here.
CAN’T BELIEVE THIS IS MY LIFE
SMILING THROUGH IT ALL
LAKUHS!!!
Thanks, Portland 💖
How much do you guys think it’ll be to keep him long term? Personally I have him at around 25-30/y
Just remember, they wanted 2 frps from us for Jerami Grant. Fuck them and fuck the Laker tax entirely
Thank you Portland, very cool!
Reaves and ayton are like the two best valued contract this season, and I’m glad they are with our Lakers
Almost as bad the Clippers unintendly tanking for the Thunders
Ayton is the key to the Lakers
We appreciate you, DeAndre Ayton! Keep owning the paint and keep doing the damn thing! Lakers HERE!!!
We are cheap.
Mark Walters buying the lakers is the best thing ever for them. Legitimate billionaire with no regard to salary lol
Ah, LeBron is our second best. I’d go as far to say he’s still the smartest guy on the floor.
Ayton asked for a buyout for the chance to play on a winning team
Shohei about to play Forward.
Generational fumble by the Blazers imo. I’m glad the Lakers got him
oh Portland is definitely not gonna trade with us.
Ayton, Reaves, and Smart are all due for some money relative to their current salaries this year. This is our final year of criminally underpaying Reaves for the past 3 years, hopefully some wing defenders can be added in at the deadline to make this run
Still not gonna win the 🛳️
He’s been playing like a 34 million dollar center. That’s for sure
