The Baltimore Ravens WON Without Even Playing On Sunday…

What’s going on, Baltimore Ravens fans? You’re watching the Ravens rundown. My name is Joey Peterson, and I get it. Things have looked doom and gloom since the horrible loss on Thursday night on our Thanksgiving as well to the Cincinnati Bengals. But I’ll tell you this, the Baltimore Ravens sat on their couches yesterday, watched football just like you and I, and they won without even having to strap on a helmet. I’ll tell you exactly what I’m talking about in just a second. But it’s the biggest week of the season so far. Of course, I’m talking about the week 14 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. And we thought it’d be fun to have a little matchup going against the Pittsburgh Steelers for this week between our two channels, Ravens Rundown, which you’re watching right now, and Steelers Talk, which is this version, just of course with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Boo. If you love the Ravens, if you hate the Steelers, and if you want them to lose the Steelers on Sunday, make sure you hit that subscribe button. We’re down five subs to Steelers Talk. Help me out. Subscribe. It is free. So, of course, what I am talking about was yesterday’s week 13 game of Bills verse Steelers. A game that I was watching very intently. A game that the Pittsburgh Steelers actually had a lead on until a strip sack fumble and then pretty much everything went downhill from there on out for the Pittsburgh Steelers. And this is exactly what we needed yesterday. Okay? And I remember telling you guys this after the game on Thursday and I said, “Guys, look, I get it. It looks horrible. You just got absolutely dominated in prime time at home by the Cincinnati Bengals in Joe Burrow’s first game in the last like two and a half months. But it all feels fine if the Buffalo Bills take care of business on Sunday. Now, sure, you’d like to have a game and a half lead on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North standings. You would have liked to have won Thursday’s game to pretty much take Cincinnati out of it and had a more comfortable lead over Pittsburgh, but she didn’t. But guess what? You sit in the exact same place as you went into last week, and that is number one in the AFC North. Sure, you got a similar record to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but you’ve got a better record within the AFC North than they do. And of course, they took the lead after Thursday night, having they not played yet. And then the Bills took care of business. First time I’ve cheered for Josh Allen, maybe ever. Right now, if you look at the AFC playoff picture, you see the Ravens with the number four seed sitting at six and six. Right now, if the playoffs started tomorrow, they would be taking on the Los Angeles Chargers at home with LA, Indianapolis, and the Buffalo Bills filling out the three wildcard spots. You see Pittsburgh in the I guess first team out right behind Houston who sits at seven and five. Basically, if you want to make the playoffs, you got to make the division. It feels like right now through the first 13 weeks of the season, you’ve got almost no shot to make the playoffs via the wild card just given the fact that you are six and six through your first 12 games. Well, the Steelers for the last seven games, they’re two and five. So, I get it, right? Feels horrible. You feel like you are the worst team in the National Football League after what you trotted out there on Thursday night after how Lamar Jackson has looked in the past few games. But you got to realize you feel like you’re reeling. Imagine how Pittsburgh feels cuz you are five and two in your last seven games. They are two and five. Okay, both of these teams are in desperation. You know that. I know that this game on Sunday most likely now percentage-wise, it’s not the end all beall, but it will feel like the winner of Sunday’s game will have the inside track and a massive chance to win this division. Speaking of chances, I’m going to tell you percentages in just a couple of seconds. Who you got in that game, Baltimore or Pittsburgh? You let me know in the comments section down below. I’m about to hit you later today with a preview for that game. I get it early Monday, but this is a big game. Okay, we got to get you the preview as quickly as we can. So, stick around the channel later, but of course, give me your answer. BL or PIT. So, right now, Baltimore with the lead in the AFC North. They sit at the best chance to win that division. If you’re just looking strictly at percentages, 66% so 2/3 to the Baltimore Ravens, 29% to the Steelers, and 6% to the Cincinnati Bengals. And if you beat Pittsburgh on Sunday, that jumps up from 66 to 77% chance to win. That’s the good side. Fortunately, there’s another side to that coin. If you lose to the Pittsburgh Steelers, which I would heavily advise them not to do, right, that falls down from 66 to 32% chance to win the division. So, there is a far greater penalty for losing than there is a reward for winning. And it feels like this game might be the season. everything that you fought for, everything that you fought back for in that fivegame winning streak after starting this season one of five. It could be gone with a snap of the finger on something. Now, of course, they wouldn’t be mathematically eliminated, but still it would not be looking that great. Okay, the cool thing is is over the next two weeks, even though you’re at this spot right now where there’s a lot of uncertainty, you could be clinched 13 days from now, pretty much if you beat Pittsburgh in week 14 and Buffalo beats Cincinnati in week 14, this upcoming Sunday, and then you beat Cincinnati the following Sunday and Miami beats Pittsburgh the following Sunday, then you would go to a 92% chance to win the AFC North. But I think the cool thing out of all of this is is you still are at a spot where you control your destiny. Through the first 13 weeks, you’re going into week 14. You’re at the spot that you’d hope to be. You’re at the spot you probably never thought you would be after starting this season one and five. You control your outcome. You don’t need anybody else to win for you. You don’t need anybody else to lose for you. You still control what happens with your season. It’s not going to get any easier. You got the Pittsburgh Steelers at home. Then you go on the road to take on the Bengals. Then you play the Patriots who one of the tops teams in the AFC. You play the Packers who one of the top teams in the NFC. And then you round things out again in week 18 where they match up against the Steelers. All five of these winnable, all five of these lossable. But easily the biggest games on this schedule are boom, boom, and of course, boom. Who do you think wins this division? Baltimore, Pittsburgh, or Cincinnati. You let me know down below by giving me a BAL, a PIT, or a CIN. Don’t go anywhere. Okay, I’m about to tell you who has the edge for Sunday’s match up. We’re going to go position group by position group. I’ll tell you which one I favor between the two. But I got to tell you real quick about the awesome sponsor of today’s show. That’s our great friends over at Pix. It is the holiday season, which means it’s the best time of the year for sports. Bowl games, basketball matchups, playoff pushes. It’s all happening at once. And while you and I are out here making decisions every day, what gifts to buy, what to eat, which game to watch, there’s one place where it feels good to be right, that’s prize picks. My wife coming into this season couldn’t even name four pro teams. And then we started playing on prize picks. And now every Saturday night, we’re breaking down who she’s picking for a lineups. It’s the most exciting way to watch football. Prices early payouts. If your lineup gets off to a hot start, you may now have the option to cash out those winnings before the game even finishes. And on prize picks, how you play is up to you. If you want flexibility, choose flex play. And if you want the biggest payouts, go for the power play. You can flex play or power play. My lineup for tonight’s game, Monday Night Football, Giants, Patriots, giving them more on Trayvon Henderson, 65 and a half rush yards, less on Jackson Dart, 205 and a half pass yards. And for the heck of it, let’s throw in a kicker. Young Way Coup, more than half a field goal make. Download the Prize Pix app today and use code CLNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. That’s code CLNS to get $50 in lineups after you play your first $5 lineup. Link to his promos in the comments and description of today’s video. Prize weeks, it’s good to be right. All right, let’s talk about who has the edge between these two teams. When it comes to the head coach, I give the edge to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Look, I feel like they’re both in a very similar spot. Okay, both of them have been where they’ve been for a very, very long time. Both of them have won Super Bowls with where they are and both fan bases seem to be growing tired of their head coach who really hasn’t done much recently in terms of postseason success. The difference between these two guys in my opinion is Mike Tomlin still gives you some kind of schematical advantage and I don’t think John Harbaugh does. So in terms of head coach, I’m giving the edge to the Steelers 10 times out of 10. Quarterback, I’m gonna give the edge to the Ravens. Look, I get it. Lamar Jackson has not been playing good football recently. He had his worst game I think as a pro on Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals, but still I’m taking Lamar Jackson over a 47,000y old Aaron Rogers any day of the week. Running back room, I’m going to go with Derrick Henry. The thing is is Derrick Henry played well on Thursday night against the Bengals when they had him in there. They just did not have him in there very often, right? Rasheen Ali outnapped Derrick Henry. inexcusable, unexplainable, but still give me Derrick Henry over Jaylen Warren any day of the week. Wide receiver room, I’m gonna go Ravens as well here. I think DK Mechaf might be the best wide receiver out of the entirety of these two teams combined. However, the core itself at the wide receiver for the multiple Ravens, I think, is better and deeper. But when you go to the offensive line, I’m going to make this one a push, okay? because I feel like both offensive lines, let’s call spade a spade, they are not very good. Okay, both have struggled both have struggled in different ways though. I think the Steelers struggle a little bit more on the outsides and the uh Ravens struggle a little bit more on the interior. Defensive line, I’m going to go Steelers. TJ Watt, Alex uh Alex Highmith, Cam Hayward. That one really doesn’t need much debate. The Ravens defensive line has been one of the worst in the National Football League. Lineback room, I’m going to go push here. Uh, I’ve really liked what I’ve seen from Rocoan Smith in the past couple of weeks. The same with a guy like Teddy Buchanan. I think Trent Simpson’s played some good football as well. So, I think that one’s a push. Same with the quarterback room. If Nate Wiggins is playing, I might lean Baltimore, but if he’s not, I might lean Pittsburgh. We just don’t know his injury status as of right now. And for the safety room, give me the Baltimore Ravens. You got Kyle Hamilton. They do not. You are better than they are at that position. You want the Ravens to beat the Steelers? Simple question. If your answer to that question is yes, do me a big favor. Hit the thumbs up button. Like today’s video, don’t jinx it. Don’t, you know, take any chances with this. Just lock in this win by hitting that thumbs up button. 1. Look, I want the Ravens to beat the Steelers, but I also want them to beat the Patriots and Packers. I know they can win both those games, because the Patriots are still a resurging team, and the Ravens usually beat up on resurging teams. The Packers are an NFC team, and Lamar Jackson is 25-5 in his career against NFC teams.
