Doan seems like a more complete player too. What a trade.
I loved JJ but this was a good trade. Doan has been playing great.
Been saying since day 1 that Doan was gonna replace a lot more of JJ’s offense than most people thought. Even I did not expect it to be 100%, tho lol.
Yea and Doan plays a way more complete game
Helps I trust Doan more in nearly every situation on the ice too
And Doan is much better defensively. Sabres got the best player in the trade therefore the won the trade. *Bangs gavel*
Oh and the Sabers also got a very good first or second pairing defenseman who’s a right shot plays physical and even if you didn’t like him could be flipped for a first rounder easy. So there’s that.
Peterka must be ice cold. He seemed like he was scoring close to a point per game, now he’s putting up numbers you’d expect from a second or third liner. Still waiting to see what Kesselring can do in an extended amount of games, but right now I feel good about this trade.
This is with Lindy burying him on the third for several games too
