100%. The seeding thing is a meme. It would be cool, it would even be cool to win the division.
But all I really care about is getting a playoff spot. I want to play a playoff game this year. Anything else is extra.
This dude is all about business. Would not be shocked if we sweep Green Bay. He absolutely destroyed the Packers when he was in Detroit too.
literally half a game out of 7th
a loss to GB would drop us from 1 to 7
playoffs are likely, which is nice, but not even that is guaranteed.
Phenomenal season, phenomenal coaching either way, but being #1 right now doesn’t mean much. Its fun, but still doesn’t mean much.
Is it me or does it feel like this is more than just a “developmental” year for BJ with Caleb? Our schedule is probably not getting any easier from here on out for the rest of BJ’s tenure, and he probably knows this too. And let’s be honest, no one expected us to be where we’re at right now. Every coach wants to win it all, but I think BJ is genuinely trying to be the first rookie coach to win the super bowl. The fact that we’ve won the last two games with all of our starting LBs out, and a good chunk of the secondary really makes me think that him and his staff could take this squad all the way. We’re still not really getting any respect, and no one expects us to win. I just hope this magical cloud continues over our team through the whole year.
The division is so tight it can go sideways fast. Gotta stay focused
That’s what I’m talking bout. Everybody’s been talking about the #1 seed like the regular season is over. It’s a lot of football left, and anything can happen. Like us not losing another game. GO BEARS, BEAR DOWN!
Love the mentality. Jobs not done
Doesn’t matter until that first round of the playoffs start
That’s our goddamm COACH!!! 🐻⬇️

Great mentality
“We have to earn that right.” What a statement
I think it’s badass he calls it “the tournament”. Makes it seem like the Kumite
For once, the only people not overreacting is Bears fans lol. We ain’t going full meatball until we beat the Packers.
During the conference Ben also seemed keyed into 11 wins being the magic number for a playoff berth at the minimum. Went back to emphasizing the mentality of focusing on being 1-0 for the week
I’m glad we now have a coach that is never complacent. He wants to win every game they play. Never take the foot off of the gas!
Agreed. This win was huge, but we still have 3 games against GB and Detroit that will make or break our season.
Jobs not done
We can’t get hyped up for this. They need to concentrate and put every ounce of energy on beating the Packers this coming Sunday. I would love to see them beat the Packers twice even if we lose the other games!
Love this guy. He is never going to let up or be satisfied. Perfection is impossible, but he will be striving for that day in day out. There is always something that can be improved.
Love this guy
That’s my coach.
The last couple years as we sucked there was only 2 games that mattered. Now, there is always only one game that matters, and that’s the next game. Take it one game at a time and we’ll be okay.
damn right. and whatever happens from this point on, this season has been awesome.
