My Path to Chicago | Connor Bedard
I started playing hockey when I was four or five uh at Northshore Winter Club in in North Vancouver. Uh my parents and sister were always super supportive of me and and my journey and uh and then I went on played academy in West Van and then went to uh Regina Paths in the Western League and I got to play internationally a good amount which is which is awesome. It’s a huge honor. And started uh U8s when I was 15, won that one. Couple World Juniors, won those like I was 16 going to my first World Juniors and I got to play with all the best 19year-olds that had already played some games in the NHL or were light up junior. So I just got to learn from them and and hear, you know, their experiences and stuff. And as a, you know, young player, that really helps you. I’d say Winter World Juniors was was awesome. Uh, I’d say the most like fun, cool, like memorable thing was just like playing in the playoffs with Regina. Uh, we didn’t even win a series, but it was pretty sick. So, it was fun. My first game a couple years ago, I was in pit. Uh, I just remember being excited. Um, you know, a little nervous, but not bad. And, you know, the game went by kind of quick. I had a lot of family, friends, parents, whatnot. And couple years there and now I’m now I’m here in Chicago. So, uh it’s fun looking back on uh the journey and a lot of lot of fun moments.
From starting in North Vancouver to being drafted No. 1 overall in the 2023 NHL Draft, Connor Bedard shares his hockey journey to the Chicago Blackhawks.

Kyle needs to bring in a legit first liner for Bedard he’s already dominating imagine if there’s a legit scoring threat on his line who can also feed him the puck
