New Orleans #Saints’ SLOW START Downs Otherwise Promising Performances In Loss vs. Miami Dolphins

Another slow start on offense. Smothers the New Orleans Saints. Good start on defense and late surge in the game going to two and 10 now on the season. The third year out of the last four that New Orleans has lost doubledigit games after not doing so since 2005. The New Orleans Saints end up not being able to get their win in Miami. However, some good promising moments coming from this game. And again, it all comes down to the young players that were making plays. Tyler Shuck, rookie quarterback, completed over 68% of his passes, threw two touchdowns in the game, did throw an interception, as well as another on two-point conversion. However, another strong game from the young rookie who still leads the rookie class of quarterbacks in completion percentage. How about cornerback Ale Mckenstry who took away the football again getting his third interception of the season which now leads the team and closed in on a backside pursuit on a big fourth down giving the Saints another opportunity. Devon Veil catching all eight of his targets for 90 plus yards and catching a touchdown. And then Charlie Smith the Irishborn kicker getting his first ever NFL start only to boot one in from 56 yards out and help to convert an onside kick that gave the Saints life. It’s all about these young players and their development as the New Orleans Saints enter the final sevengame stretch of the 2025 season with their next game back in Florida up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

  1. Fire Kelly Moore for what y'all knew y'all gave him garbage so stop the BS 😡 Kellen Moore is going to turn this team around is going to take time and you know that this is a rebuilding you stop playing😂

  2. Y'all expecting the same thing that made the playoffs are making a super bowl in that man first year with them trash players y'all need to stop it man y'all get on my damn nerves at saints fan you'll no this is a rebuilding year😂

  3. See what happens when you throw to Vele? He plays great keep feeding him. Why they keep taking Neal out and using everyone else is an annoying mystery to me. Let Neal carry the damn ball and feed Vele in the passing game. The play calling from a so called offensive guru is atrocious. Staley tells the announcers that every time they put Stutsman in the game he just makes plays but rarely put him in the damn game. WTF is going on with that. All year long Vele when in makes plays then rarely sees the field again same with Stutsman and Neal. Now they figured out Vele but watch nothing next week lol. Hopefully they figure out that they should keep playing these guy.

  4. Problem with Shough is he needs 4 secs to throw the ball.

His decision making is awful. Concussion balls. INTs. Awful sacks.

He was bad in College, he’s bad now.

  5. In his first 2 seasons as a starter Drew Brees went 8-8 & 2-9 while throwing for a combined 28 TDs vs 31 INTs, all with a much more talented team than the Saints currently have, and some of y'all are ready to toss aside Shough after just 4 games. Hell, let's be honest, most of you were ready to toss him aside before the season even started.
