Jim Harbaugh Postgame Press Conference Vs Raiders | LA Chargers

Jim, do you have an update on like what happened with Justin’s left hand? Yeah, he he had a uh a break in the the back of the hand. Um and uh going to have a procedure done tomorrow on it. But it was a hand thing, not a finger. Yeah. I mean, well, I I give you that’s what I know. And I know that he’s the he’s as tough as they come and uh you know taped it up uh glove and uh and played a played a great game. Is he going to miss any time? Uh I don’t know about that. We’ll see where the week takes us. Jim, how what does that do to you strategy-wise? How does that limit you if he has to be in shotgun constantly or Yeah, I mean it does. Uh there are some things that um you know getting under center felt that would be would be uh difficult and um you know so we’re operating exclusively out of the shotgun. Big day for uh Kamani. Uh huge day for Kamani. Uh just a so many guys uh so many guys stepped up. I mean it was uh I mean we really wanted to win. Um and and the guys went out and played uh played great. Um Kamani Videll uh you know gave us a huge spark. Uh that was a I think I remember one of the one of the one of the great runs you know and um and he did that all game. He was really good in protection as well. And um Jared Patterson uh super uh super excited for him. I mean he had a heck of a game as well. uh offensive line I thought did a did an incredible job. Uh and and the receivers, Lad Quinton Johnson, uh you know, just there was there was just, you know, just toughness toughness on display by the by the ball carriers, by the catchers, you know. Um there were some tight tight uh contested catches, hanging on to the ball, running with the ball after the catch, you know, uh just fighting for every every yard. I just love the way the uh the entire team responded in this game. And it it’s I mean it’s a tough physical game. I mean, against a division opponent, uh you know, rivalry game, all those things. Um, it was a it was a it was an NFL game and uh love the way our guys responded. Jim, how much by week did you guys get be able to reset and get freshened up a little bit? Does that help you guys? Yeah, that that was that was good. I mean uh our guys uh our guys got got restoration. Um but uh you know we’re we’re together. This is uh this was a great team win. Um and our fates are intertwined. Uh and we’re the uh you know the focus focus is uh is there from our team and um yeah just going to have to do it again next week and a week after that and a week after that. But uh you know I love the way our team responded and you know defensively um Denzel Perryman if you noticed I mean boy was he bringing it. It was uh another great game by Derwin James. Uh Tony Jefferson, DJack, you know, makes that great PBU leads to the interception. And uh I was uh the front thought played extremely well. Notice Justin Aboy on their side of the line of scrimmage quite a bit. Thought he played played a heck of a game. And uh then our edge rushers uh you know, what can you say about them? Um you know, it’s a in my opinion. I mean, it’s so it’s such a it’s such a great group. Uh K Mack, K Mack, great game by him. Tulie, just that relentless motor. Uh Bud Dri, you know, he brings a he brings a change up. He brings a a great great uh relentless style as well. And so does Adaf. Um, I thought that group in particular played uh played outstanding and um you know got stops, got to the got pressures and uh another another fourth down stop. It was just really uh really good. Thought our special teams uh you know special mentioned Cameron Dicker um that was a big kick. Uh Josh Harris, JK Scott. Another another really another really strong good game from uh from the specialists. Good great team win. What’ you see from Jamari at left tackle? Oh, thank you. The whole I mean the whole offensive line. I thought Jamari Jamari had a great game. Uh touchdown block, you know, he was out there springing Kamani Vidal. um you know just the uh you know the uh but his play in particular uh really good really good same with Mai Beckton uh Zion Johnson Brad Boseman Trey Pipkins uh you know going to be a game ball for all of them uh you know that’s how that’s how uh good I thought they played you’ve had so many moving parts on the uh offensive line this year you know if Jamari can play well at left tackle and you can sort of settle on a five just what do you think that’ll do for you guys? Yeah, I mean that was that was the hope coming into this game, you know, that that uh that we would do that and um and uh yeah, step one step one is uh you know, quitting themselves great and uh yeah, get that thing solidified for the uh for u you know, this home stretch is is huge. Looked like you guys made some adjustments run defense-wise in terms of the the front structure. What did you like about some of the changes that you guys made and and what that allowed you guys to do in run defense? Yeah. Uh, another really good game by Jesse. I thought those uh those adjustments, those u you know, tighter coverage, we were really going for that. And uh but uh you know yeah some uh changing just changing some of the looks um was very beneficial
