Seth Curry’s Return to the Warriors | Dec. 1, 2025
How does it feel to be official now? Feels good, man. It’s a weird little break for me. Um, it’s first time in a long time I’ve just been watching NBA basketball and not been a part of it. So, it’s good to be back in the gym and get um be around the guys and kind of get the blood flowing again in practice. Are you expecting if Steve calls your number tomorrow, you’re playing it’s as normal as it ever was? Um, trying to do whatever I can to help the team right away if possible. I mean, whatever. I mean, if they throw me out there tomorrow, fine. If if not, it is what it is. I mean, I’m trying to obviously got to get back in the in the flow of like an NBA season, but um just here to to do what I do. I mean, I feel pretty good. So, uh, whatever they need from me, I’m going to try to just provide what I bring. What’s up, Seth? Sam Gordon, San Francisco Chronicle. Welcome back. Um what was your focus the last you know x amount of weeks when you guys were kind of in this holding pattern? Focus is trying to keep my body right. Uh the main thing was I wanted to come back healthy, not having to I mean saying deal with any nag anything nagging um when I when I do when I did resign back I want to come in healthy right away and be able to to hit the ground running in practice and in games if they if he throws me out there. And um um like I said, that was my main focus was just obviously I’m I’m a basketball junkie, so I was watching tons of games every night, watching the Warriors a lot, kind of just seeing where they’re at as a team and different things they’re working on. But um I mean, I got a handle on the league and how the league’s been playing over the past month or whatever. And um so my mental I feel like my mental is right. Just obviously just trying to keep my game sharp and stay in best shape as possible. to that point, you’ve been able to see some of the things the Warriors are doing well at, not not doing so well at. How do you see yourself sort of helping them right now and especially with like the shooting and offensive stuff? Uh, I mean, I think everybody around the league knows what I bring to the to the table as far as my game. Um, just being able to spread the floor, make shots, um, just create offense. I feel like I can with my movement and um I feel like I’m a little underrated on the ball as far as playing ball screen, dribble, handoff games and and creating that just attention from the defense. So, um I mean, like I said, they know what I bring and I think the whole league knows what I bring. So, I just try to try to provide that as soon as possible. What have been some of your takeaways from watching a ton of ball these past couple months? um leaguewide trends that have stood out to you? Uh obviously everybody knows the pace pace of the game and a lot of offense out there and um I think the main thing is teams are really deep. Um you got every team has 12 13 guys that that can go out there and play uh real NBA minutes. So um you got to have that throughout the season. I knew this team would especially with with age of some guys you knew everybody was going to get a chance. Have you seen that with the Warriors throughout the early in the season? Everybody’s been out there and had a chance to contribute. So, um, it’s been it’s been fun to watch and do it from afar. It’s been a little weird, like I said, but um I’m always watching. What has your process been like to stay ready when you’ve been unsigned? Uh just um just try to stay in best rhythm as possible every day as far as getting in the gym every day, getting my workouts in and um staying sharp, trying to get some live play with with trainers or other players whenever I can. Um but it’s been a little it’s been it’s been tough just mentally, but uh kind of flew by. Uh Seth, you said it was uh tough mentally, I guess. How did you stay, I guess, positive or kind of how did you stay focused just during this lull? Uh, I mean, I knew they would come eventually. I mean, so that’s just kind of look forward and like I said, trying to trying to stay positive. My agent was always telling me is those 20 when you’re in the league and around it, those how 20 games of that month goes by so fast, so this would be no different. So, my agent was helping me trying to uh keep my mind right and also talking to Steph and getting his pulse on the team and him asking me what I see from the team and and just from a and things they can do uh better out there on the floor. So, um I think I mean I was fine just it was just weird not being in a locker room every day and going to shoot around and going to games for the first time in I don’t know 12 13 years. Hey, Seth. Uh, just wondering how you’re like acclimating to the bay and like if you’re if you’re wanting to be close to your brother or, you know, have some distance or what that what that’s like. Uh, pretty I’m pretty comfortable with the bay for the last, like I said, last 15 16 years. I’ve spent some good amount of time out here. So, um, it’s not much not much I haven’t seen, but everybody showed me love since I’ve been here through training camp and, um, since I’ve been back. So, just going to be fun to get out there and um be in front of the fans.

The Warriors finally have a STRETCH BIG!
Seth and Melton are such fire additions they need to take Buddy and pods minutes pls

Welcome to the Bay! Great to have you here.
We need bigs.
At this point, the Warriors need the whole damn Roster to even make it anywhere near the playoffs.
Melton next.
Anything to reduce Buddy's minute is fine by me.

๐most exciting warrior game ever ? — april 1977 , playoffs , oakland —- pistons vs warriors – a fight on the floor , dudley vs money – fan come out of the stands and sunday punches ml carr — bob lanier goes into the stands and pummels the drunk — bloodied — it was a riot ๐ ๐
Seth joining is good but playing with Size is going to be the key to victory
He will be a welcome addition. He's a reliable source of offense.
I love this 100% but damn Golden State getting more guards?
