Everyone saying fire Bisaccia should take this under consideration. Whelan coming from the XFL and doing this in two years is coaching
The fire bisaccia crowd can shove it.
He’s had bad mistakes under his watch, but the special teams in 2021 was so laughably bad. Blocked kicks went way down. Long returns are rare on us. We found two dependable specialists. We even had the best return unit in the league for a minute there.
Bisaccia is flawed sure, but it’s so much better now than it was before he was here
This guy might be statue worthy.
Lowkey my favorite player
I wonder how the grading works, as he’s middle of the pack in everything except for hangtime which is only 5th.
MVP odds at -10000
Da Irish Car Bomb UP DA RAAAAA
Irish bomb lol whats next, the 9/11 double doink?
Where my Whelan flairs at?
we’re one misplaced Volkswagen ad from a catastrophe
LOCK HIM UP
oh wait
He’s had a whale of a season!
The Gaelic Incendiary Device
petition to nickname him “Kerrygold” because he’s smooth as butter and he’s Irish
The idea of the Packers having any special teams player or category as number one is mind-blowing
…yeah probably wouldn’t go with “the irish bomb” as a nickname lmao
Why not Whelan, Dealin and Stealing.
Or Whelan to the 3rd power?
They really need to bring back the hang time clock on punts like that had back in the day
Not the best wording
It’s about as ok the nose as if JK Rowling called an Irish character Potatofamine McCarbomb
Or an English character Shitefood Kingsley
That gross average looks more like a net average.
1st in PFF grade. *nice*
21st in punt count. *very nice*
This graphic is wrong. 42.17 is close to his net(42.4) which is 9th ranked, but his gross is 51.4 which is second. The small difference may be if the chart is a week old. However, that doesn’t account for his ranking. It would change that much. Pretty sure he had a 72 this week which is why I think it’s a week old. That being said, he’s asked to punt from shorter distances than the NFL average so his net and gross should be lower than average, but they’re not. So he’s punting pretty well.
