“Fraudulent 10-2” “barely beating bad teams” “carried by defense” all I’m hearing is that we’re winning games and are the #1 seed baby LETS GO BRONCOS

Me reading all the Broncos hate on my timeline

  1. ” they haven’t beaten anyone good” “they only won by 2 points against a bad team”. Imagine what the narrative would be if the Broncos had lost any of the close games.

  2. I’ve made peace with the fact that this Broncos team just isn’t going to light it up most Sundays, and more often than not it’ll be ugly. But they find ways to win. Yes they’ve gotten a few lucky breaks in close games. But plenty of clutch plays as well. You don’t win 9 games in a row on accident. If it were a different year where teams like KC, Baltimore, or Buffalo looked unstoppable I’d be more worried. But it’s a weird year where the perennial contenders look bad and the teams with the best records look super flukey.

  3. It mostly comes from people calling the Bo Nix pick a “reach” and had a 2nd or 3rd round grade on him. IF there is one thing in the world that people hate, it’s being wrong. It takes a strong person to admit they were wrong, and people on social media sure as fuck won’t do that and they will double down and show the Nix int over and over and not show any of the other 321 yards and say he played like shit. They double down, because hey, they were never wrong in the first place! They are smart!

  4. I’ve chalked it up to we’ve played ugly prime time games while the Bears and Patriots haven’t been in prime time for their ugly games. Their box scores aren’t any better than ours

  5. Just ignore them, this isn’t college football where “quality wins matter”. Most people forget that any win, even against bad teams, is incredibly difficult in the nfl. But we still have the best record in the league, something most haters can’t say about they’re own teams

  6. It’s hilarious because people think blowing out a team somehow makes you better in the playoffs? Where most games will end up being close and you have to make the clutch plays to keep in it. At the end of the day we’re an easy team to compete with but one of the hardest to actually beat

  7. It’s so week by week.

This past week and during the bye, after beating the chiefs, the general sentiment (I feel) around the Broncos is that they’re legit and just find win games.

This week, it’ll be all about how we’re frauds and Bo Nix is garbage, just like after the win against the raiders. That’s just modern media 🤷‍♂️

Washington played well, broncos could’ve played better but did okay. On to next week

  8. We must be a profoundly irritating team to watch. We play like garbage for three and a half quarters then somehow win every time

  9. I like being underdogs. I think it’s harder to stay competitive when you’re like the Patriots and pass everyone’s eye test but haven’t played anyone good.

  10. It’s funny because last season when the Chiefs were winning one score games it was “the best teams always find ways to win” and “winning these sort of games shows how strong this Chiefs team is”

  11. Lots of people hate Sean Payton and want us to lose by default because of him. And even more people don’t want to admit how wrong they were about Nix and keep hoping they can will their fan fiction about him being bad into existence. I think it’s funny, you know you’ve gotten into people’s heads when they can’t stop trying to make excuses for why you’re winning

  12. It’s really just annoying Chiefs fans anguishing over the fact that they’re underperforming and their one score “magic” is gone with better officiating

  13. What would the narrative be if the bills ravens or chiefs were 10-2 and had the same string of games won by a few points? I’d be willing to wager the narrative would be “good teams win the close games” or something like that

  14. “How dare they keep winning! It’s only due to their very good defense which is not how teams should win.”

    🖕🙂

  15. We do have some things we need to clean up. I wish Bo would take that final step to where we don’t need him to pull out clutch ball every game and give me a heart attack every week. It will be important we have him close out games when given opportunities come playoff time. And it’s not just him, the whole offense needs to do better, stop with the drops (which they have gotten better at) and continue to limit stupid penalties.

But if anyone can get everyone in tip top shape by playoff time it will be Peyton and Bo.

Truly magical season from the grittiest broncos team I’ve witnessed in my 36 years of life.

  16. They can bitch all they want but I guarantee you they do not want to play the broncos down the stretch or even have to come through Denver for a playoff run.

  17. I like to point out that their 2 losses were walk off field goals, losing by a combined 4 points. Theoretically, they could easily be undefeated.

  18. I believe these wins make the team better than cruising through the season beating teams by 2+ scores every week. They’re not panicking when they’re down, and I’m excited to see what they do in January

  19. Imagine saying we havent beaten good teams, same teams that whooped their team ass.
