Sanders passing vs 49ers

  1. If Sanders can get some Completions on the Right Side he’s immediately looking better. I’d try to focus on that, and getting the ball out in 3 seconds this week.

  2. I’d be interested to see this next to Purdy’s — the wind was howling apparently so I am sure that affects deeper pass attempts.

  3. How is his time to throw so long if like 6/16 completions were made behind the LOS? He’s a rookie so maybe going through reads isn’t fluid yet, but also our WRs must never ever be getting open which I can’t tell from TV broadcast

  4. For a rookie in his second start ever he played well imo. Conditions weren’t exactly favorable for airing it out. Had a higher QBR than purdy. Special teams really fucked us, and that dumb TE sneak fancy shit also fucked us.

  5. Half of his pass attempts are either behind the line of scrimmage or 5 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. Part of that could be contributed to the game plan but over the past two weeks this has been consistent. He takes one or two shots a game but other than that he dinks and dunks just like Gabriel.

  6. People making the excuses for sanders they weren’t for Gabriel is so funny to me. Pretty clear the team sucks and qb play has been pretty consistent across all 3 qbs. DG is probably the best at getting the ball out quick which you kind of have to do in this scheme with this receiver room.

  7. Neither Sanders or Gabriel are a long term answer at QB…it’s obvious. The fascination with Sanders will fade by next season and it will be on to the next rookie QB for fans to obsess over.

  8. This isn’t an excuse for Shedeur reply… but an excuse for ANY QB… we have the worst collection of weapons in the league. Without seeing the all 22, I’d venture to guess we are rarely getting guys open downfield within a couple of seconds. It’s been that way basically all year because again, our weapons aren’t good.

  9. Good to see we seem to be giving these QBs a fair shake: a couple of games with the worst offense, and offensive scheme ever assembled. Toss em to the curb…
