REPORT: Tampa Bay Buccaneers KNEW Arizona Cardinals Offensive Calls Ahead Of CRITICAL Downs
The Bucks knew exactly what the Arizona Cardinals were going to do in not one but two critical fourth down situations. What’s the fallout from another gut-wrenching loss for the Redbirds? Plus, we hear from the head coach, Jonathan Ganon, Johnny. Yeah, we’re going to break down his comments. This is the most candid and honest I believe we’ve seen Jonathan Ganon in weeks. Big thanks to everybody crushing it in the watch along yesterday. uh 500 strong for over three hours watching that horror show of a game out in Tampa. Uh at no point in that game did I think the Tampa Bay Bucks knew the Cardinals play calls. I just thought, “Oh, these are poorly executed offensively and that’s why it’s not working.” Turns out, shame on you. Little bit of both. Little bit of both. We got so much to cover here. Um we’re in Defcon one as Cardinal fans. I told Bo earlier, I think this is the most toxic I’ve ever seen the fan base. Not like like bad people or anything like like people just universally wanting change and wanting change now. And I think is much that I can’t accommodate everybody and just say, hey, you have the right to feel that way. I agree there needs to be change. There’s comments from Jonathan Ganon where it’s like, for instance, he didn’t even know about the story we’re about to talk about. So, if he doesn’t even understand what’s happening with Todd Bulls, probably not going to listen to what’s going on with this fan base right now either. Yeah. Blinders on, right? Look, I mean, when you’ve lost nine of 10, when you’re in the thick of it, and when you talk about facing adversity and trying to uh get to the other side of it, you know, some of the things you only thing you can do is put your head down and continue to work work and put one foot in front of the other. Every cliche you’ve heard when facing tough times, but uh yeah, it’s it was a bit astounding today. I thought Deo Mackey did a great job in outlining it in today’s a Central the Arizona Republic as far as uh Todd B’s postgame comments and then when you couple them with what you know Ganon said in his postgame about two critical moments from yesterday’s loss where we outline and we went through them you me Britain on the postgame show and uh they’re put underneath the microscope and even more so as we see the comments from the two head coaches with the teams involved here we go Todd BS Uh we’ll start with Ganon’s comments as far as the Cardinals is they had a little bit of a a pitch on a fourth and one after going for it on third one. They tried to push the ball downfield a 30 plus yard pass to Michael Wilson in double coverage on fourth and one. Ganon said quote they had everybody jammed up in there. It’s a play we practiced for a couple weeks now. It was a good play by them on the Cardinals fourth and one turnover on downs outside run. So you’ve got that from Ganon and you’ve got from Todd BS the head coach former DC here for the Cardinals but coach of the Bucks said the formation told us the ball was going outside. He’s talking about his defense they did a heck of a job in film study. Anthony Nelson made a heck of a play. Big yikes. And you want me to continue on with the other one or you want to just break? I want you to keep I want you to keep going. Then we were getting into the conversation about the fourth and two, the ill- fated fourth and two, the final offensive play of the game for the Cardinals where Jacobe Brassette passed to Michael Wilson. It was dead from the very moment that left Brassett’s hands. Uh and it Ganon said as far as that series, final series, we went four and out. You’ve got to block people. You’ve got to get open. You’ve got to hit open guys. Bulls said as far as the final play, quote, “We kind of knew what the route was. They did a hell of a job jumping the route knowing it was going to come up short.” I mean, like, you watched them all game, they knew what was coming. The Cardinals to me opposing coaches are telling you this now through the media, but they’re telling you this with their answers that they do not are they I don’t want to say they don’t respect the Cardinal staff because that’s incorrect. I think John Ganon has a lot of respect around the NFL. The opposing staffs are not scared of what the Cardinals do, at least offensively right now. And maybe you can say to uh a defensive extent like in their division. I don’t think there are division opponents that are afraid of them defensively because we’ve seen that Kyle Shanahan, you know, Shawn McVey, Mike McDonald. But let let’s just focus on yesterday. Like you had an offense that has not been performing well for Tampa Bay come out and be functional. And then specifically a defense that had given up 28, 34, and 44 hold the Cardinals to under 20 points. And then we always talk about those pivotal downs where the Cardinals just completely vomit all over themselves week after week. Go back and look at these nine or 10 losses, the games that were close. Uh end of the game against Indianapolis, end of the game against the Packers, end of the game against the Titans, end of the game against 49ers, end of the game last week against Jacksonville. For the love of God, pick up a first down. They can’t do it. Get in field goal range. Can’t do it. Put the ball in the end zone. Horrific in the red zone. It’s like they like teams know the Cardinals will beat themselves and if and if they don’t we’ll have the blueprint on how to beat them. I mean that that play call. First of all, Bam Knight behind Isaiah Adams, the number one offensive lineman per PFF yesterday was running up the gut for consistently five yards per carry. So the Cardinals decide to do a slow, methodical toss sweep off the left hand side and Tampa’s like, “Thanks so much. We know exactly what’s coming. They knew it before before the play even happened. They said that. I mean, it’s just it’s an embarrassment. And I I posted this on Twitter late last night. Just po just posting through it, right? That’s what we do. We’re just posting through it on Twitter, not spending time with my family, ignore my one loved ones because I just can’t believe we’re here. And it’s like, you blow close games, you blowing close games does not mean you’re close. You’re not close. This happens every week. You’re not a play away. other teams just feel like you will beat yourself or we’ll have the the blueprint to beat you. And that’s what’s happening right now. And and Todd BS, I don’t think he was trying to be a jackass when he said that. I think very much he was just of the mindset, you know what that guys, this is just we saw this on tape. This is what they do. It’s predictable. It is. It is. And I remember talking to Tyler Allen of uh of locked on Titans going into that matchup and he was describing, you know, Brian Callahan and the struggles uh and and just kind of how the Titans weren’t running an NFL caliber offense as far as the lack of layering and creativity. And I said, “Do do you see a little bit of that in the Cardinal?” And he’s like, “Funn you say that. Yes, I do see a lot of that.” God back and check the tape. It was a great interview. Tyler is is dialed in, really knows how to break down film with the best of them, and is saying like it lacks creativity, it lacks NFL type layering as far as passing conts. And it’s like it’s another example that has been shown week in and week out of this season of this just brutal season where the Cardinals are three and nine. They endured a five-game losing skid and now are on a three-game losing skid where they’ve just been outmatched and outwitted by the opposing coaching staff and primarily when it goes to the offensive side of the football. Think about this. Micah Parsons postgame after a three sack performance. He was a game-wracking war daddy for the Green Bay Packers. And it’s not like he flew under the radar. It’s Micah effing Parsons and he’s just making a turn style out of Jonah Williams says in the postgame locker room. I’ve never seen that many one-on-one matchups in my entire life. Byron Murphy II, the Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman after blowing up Jacobe Brassette play after play saying Jacobe Brassette was a sitting duck back there. The fourth and four debacle from last week. And now this Todd BS trying to be complimentary of his players. He’sn’t trying to take any shots. He’s about as he was either from and he and he just it exposes where they were illprepared and not creative enough to compete at this level. This is the the biggest indictment. Let me say this in two parts. Drew Pson will be gone in January, but we’re we’re at it’s December 1st right now, and that’s a problem. We got to endure five more weeks of this. And you got you got to play multiple elite teams. It’s a long December that that hit. There you go. Well done. Rams defense number two overall. You got to play Houston I think their first overall. I mean Cincinnati’s defense looked way better last week. I mean Atlanta’s defense at least has players like it’s a long way to go to get to January. And I I know that the you know we followed up on Benjamin Albreight’s report that Ganon is safe and he doesn’t know if they’re going to switch coordinators. They’re firing Drew Petting, although it probably will not be framed like that. It will probably be of the standpoint of it’s just contracts not being renewed. Good luck to you. It’ll be so they’ll fluff up a tweet via rap sheet and like fans will celebrate but be pissed off at the same time because they’ve had to endure this for three years. I mean, think back remember the Benjamin’s Solak article that came out for ESPN and it’s like Benjamin wanted to know what happened to Marv last year and he was just in football coaching malpractice. the routes he was running were not in of NFL caliber. There was no creativity to them and he was set up to fail last year and he’s breaking down in his locker this time last year and and then it’s carried over this year and it’s like, hey, Michael Wilson’s a good player. What’s taking this long? Here’s where I’m at with this, though. And here’s where as a I’m a Jonathan Ganon fan. I I He’s a great guy. He’s a great human being. He’s a great person. Just not winning enough. And you couple that with the fact that he enables this. This is him enabling him. And you’ve allowed this. You’ve allowed yourself to have one of the worst coaching records in NFL history that is likely going to go into a fourth season because you didn’t have the guts to go up. You talking about gutting these guys? Go up to your coordinator and make a change. And he wouldn’t do it. And we got some pretty damning presser clips around the corner and it’s just like they seem totally lost. And here’s where I’ll back up the Universal mob because it’s a mob on social media. People are cancelling their social tickets. I mean, there’s another outlet that said today that 90% of the fan base wants Drew Petting gone. 90% of the fan base wants Jonathan Ganon fired. That that cannot be disputed. 90% of it. I think that’s conservative that how can you trust right now Jonathan Ganon to pick another coordinator and to ensure that they themselves are held accountable after not holding this guy accountable for three seasons. That to me that’s where I will back Cardinal fans to the ends of the earth. You had an elite offensive line coach that’s now blossoming. you let him leave and then you just make excuses after excuses for this guy and he is sabotaging your success and in turn you’re sabotaging your own success now. Yeah. Uh we will hear from the Cardinals head coach why he thinks that you should believe in him and his coaching staff plus an update on Kyler Murray. It’s all coming up next. PHNX Cardinals. Appreciate everybody watching right now as we jump back into this horror show of a team. Nine of 10 losses the season from hell. We’re going to cover that here in a second. Um, again, want to shout out um, our guy Tao Mackey who did a great job getting these quotes. We weren’t in uh, Tampa Bay obviously. So, right now with this with this Cardinal team, um, you know, we can only take this at face value and like I I believe Todd BS and what he’s saying. And then the Cardinals in turn, Bo, like you put it well off era, they have their heads down. And some people might want to say like they have their heads in the sand. Jonathan Ganon by hook or by crook is going to go through the season without making offensive staff changes or just staff changes in general. Um, do you remember in 2023 after they went four and 13, did he fire anybody or was the entire I think the entire staff was brought back, correct? Yes, it was the it was the status quo. There was there was no coaching staff changes from 23 to 24. Uh, all right. So, 24 to 25 from last year to this year. They fired their defensive line coach and their pass rush specialist coach. Those have been So, they made So, they’ve gone 15 and 31 and have made two staff changes. both on the defensive line, both under Ganon’s side of the ball, which you would assume he has higher expectations. He knows that side of the ball. In three years, the Cardinals have not made one single offensive staff change. I don’t anticipate that to change until January. I think Jonathan Ganon, and you can call this admirable, you can call this loyalty to a fault, loyal to a fault, is going to go through this season and make sure that his guys get a soft landing spot in January. And he is that’s why he’s respected within coaching circles, and that’s all well and good. And I I hope these guys get jobs, the guys that aren’t retained. Like, I I don’t want to see anybody out of work. But I also know that like Cardinal fans have to endure this. Have to endure it week after week after week that not only they’re losing, they just look so inefficient when the game is on the line and big plays are on the line. Yeah. It just doesn’t add up. And so I I I get I I kind of use that as a prelog here, however you want to say it. Prologue. What’s that term in a book? Yeah, that’s fine. Yeah, that’s fine. Yeah. preface this by Jonathan Ganon’s comments today. I think were about as honest of what we’ve seen from from JG in about a month’s time. I think this is him being blunt and honest pertaining to the future of of what’s going to happen with this with this team and this this franchise bowl. Yeah. uh he was pressed a little bit on uh the question as far as why to kind of trust him and his coaching staff to get it right as he continues week in and week out to say they’re close and and he trusts the process and the people and this is uh this is Ganon’s answer. Yeah, it’s it’s a good it’s a good fair question, Josh. You know, um yeah, I I believe in that we got the right people. I say we got the right people is we will learn and grow and get better and if you get better you you should win that. That’s a tough one. I think, you know, I don’t think any fan base like they’re going to take that as okay. All right. Especially after coming off of some things like where there’s as far as player availability, dealing with injuries, lot lots of strikes against this organization, was like, “Okay, well, why should we trust you?” And and that’s and then you also look at the record and you look at they go from eight and nine now to, you know, three and nine. it that’s that’s that’s a tough that’s that’s that’s a tough cell about as tough as it as it comes uh for anybody it’s like me telling my parents I’m gonna get my grades up like well you’re a terrible student like why should I why should we trust you so it’s uh that that’s that’s the tough one and were you wanting to get into where he kind of feels like the issues are as far as this team and its inability to get over the hump yeah let’s play let’s play that one I I mean, I’m not pleased where we are, you know, I’m really not. Um, but it’s our path right now, you know what I mean? So, you know, like today, if if you know about being eliminated, all that stuff, right? Like that sucks when you think about it. Okay. But I’m not going to let that affect how when I turn on a tape uh my process to do my job at a high level um going to play the next opponent because then you’re just to me you’re wasting time and that’s not a control anymore. It was now it’s not anymore. Um and you move on and you you do your job to the best of your ability and um get ready to go compete. Yeah, like I said like we we know how to compete. We don’t know how to win. Um, and that falls on me, you know what I mean? Just like you said, Craig, like that’s completely on me. Um, so we’ll keep forging ahead, you know what I mean? But these games are, you know, I talk about it with the staff like, um, and again, this is an external factor in my mind, but the pass is the pass, right? But you’re at where you are. You are where your what your record is, you know, whatever. And, um, I don’t know the reasons now, but I know there’s a reason we’re going through this. And if you’re in this league or you’re in competitive situations, whatever you do, um you’re going to go through adversity. We’re in it. Um and you just try to keep digging out and know that you will come out the other side better. And I do believe that a lot a lot to take in there. Um they the fact that they don’t know I don’t know if that was I can’t space out for a second. was the comment about they don’t know why this is happening in those bites cuz there’s also a comment from him today basically saying like I don’t know why this is happening we got to figure this out. Mhm. Like that that’s that’s a tough that’s a tough look. Yeah. I mean I I think as far as like you talk about these few plays that are the difference between them winning and losing, right? And every game they have them. I think what his point was in that bite was it’s not one one single thing that’s preventing them from getting over the hump. It’s it hasn’t just been as far as according to Jonathan Ganon it hasn’t been either just lack of player execution play calling. It’s been a mix of all that. Now, as far as, you know, the two clips we just played there where it’s just like, I trust our people and with our people who continue to plug away, you know, once they figure out how to do this, I trust that they’re going to get us to where we want to go. That’s just that that’s about as hard of a cell as you can possibly ask a fan base, especially as you’ve got three nearly three seasons worth of data that tells you I I don’t know. I I don’t I don’t trust them as as far as I can throw them at 15 to 31 with, you know, seven games where they’ve been within four points and have been on the losing side. This staff has failed this fan base and you’ve you’ve welcome I posted on Twitter. I looked it up. You’ve welcomed 27 drafted bull players in the last three years. Now, not everybody’s healthy. Welcome to the flipping NFL. Sorry. No excuses. You’ve had money to spend. You’ve spent it. You’ve brought in talent. I think we can universally say that the Cardinals are much more talented than their record. Vegas picked you to go to the playoffs this year. Your overunder was eight and a half. You couldn’t get plus money on the over. Vegas told everybody this a 10- win team this year. Yeah, we’ll go to the playoffs this year. And you’re going to win three to four games. and you have and you have the same people as the last two years. I mean, like to me, I know he knows what the problem is, but at the same time, I think it’s disappointing for him not to enact change now. I think maybe he feels like it can’t get any worse and I’m going to keep these people employed because I don’t want to, you know, succumb to the mob. But like the fact that you’re saying like we believe in these people, you’re gonna fire them in January, right? The only reason Go ahead. It’s a romantic idea to say stick with us. This rag tag underdog coaching staff that has just started and thrown into, you know, the most uh adversity that any coaching staff has faced in their first three seasons, right? and that they’re going to learn from their mistakes and they’re going to be, you know, grow strength from pain and that they’re going to be this this Disney underdog story. But the problem is there’s there’s nothing that points that people can see from the outside looking into this organization that that proves like they shouldn’t be part of the angry mob telling them they can’t do it. I mean, like I I just when you come out and say, “We don’t know how to win out of 46 games, 46 attempts, and you’re and but you believe in the people in there to figure that out.” That that’s just like, “Hey, I’m I’m just going to keep showing up to work and I’m going to keep collecting a paycheck.” And it’s, you know, and you know that you’re not going to be held accountable. And I I see that in the chat. It’s like, what? I I show up to my job. I’m paraphrasing the chat. It’s like I show up to my I have to perform or I will be fired. And it’s like these these coaches, we have a co it’s a coaching problem. It’s not a talent problem. It’s not a Kyler Murray, Jacobe Brassette problem. You lost to the Tennessee Titans. You lost to M. Jones. You lost to Trevor Lawrence, who you intercepted three times. You lost yesterday, a Butts team. They’re not any good. They’re a oneanddone team in the playoffs to play in the NFC South. Like I I mean, you’re a joke of a of an operation right now. And I I I will give Cam Cox a lot of credit because I think he phrased it well on Twitter, friend of the program. We do some work with Cam Cox at Channel 12 and he’s been pushed to basically say like, “Do you think JG should be fired?” Blah blah blah. And he and he put it well when he just said, “I respect JG. He’s a good coach. He he’s built a good culture.” Something that we echo daily on this show. Players enjoy playing with him. Clearly, like players like him, right? But the bottom line is just none of that matters when you’re not winning. It’s just they’re just not winning. And I you have a rip cord that you have been so resistant and reluctant to pull because you want to do right. It’s like the old boys club and that makes it worse. And I believe it is putting him directly in the line of fire. But man, I mean to be retained with this kind of record is unheard of. It’s unheard of. And I you know he you know he knows he’s coming back because of the fact he’s not firing anybody. That’s the shest sign. Everybody is safe. Nobody is fired. He had and I can I can tell you this doubly source. He has not been asked to make changes on his staff. So like Matt Eberloose last year when you know what hit the fan. You got to get Shane Waldron the f out of here. Players hate him. Just like you got Marvin Harrison Jr.’s dad ripping the Cardinal offense before Monday Night Football on ESPN. Like if Marv Senior’s saying that, what are the players saying? They’re not prepared with this guy and you won’t make a change. Then then to me that’s when you start, you know, casting that aspersion of, oh, we’ve we’re losing the locker room. I I think they’ve lost part of the locker room as it relates to the messaging and the and the I think they like Ganon. Clearly, we like him. Everybody likes Joe. I think Ganon, but I I don’t think that they believe that like, hey, we’re going to go out coach flipping Shawn McVey this weekend. I don’t think anybody believes that. Right. Right. Or like I mean, you can just take from what you’ve seen when you see a fourth and one play and you know, Trey McBride was taking the arrow to the forehead today where he’s saying, “Hey, I should have strained a little bit more holding my block on the ill- fated fourth and one pitch play.” But it’s just like what could that be a product of? Not having full conviction in the play call. Right. Right. It’s like I got to get out here and I got to push my block and I got to do my job. And that’s not asking a lot. I’m not giving Trey McBride a hull pass here for for not being able to to do his his part, put a hat on a hat and and get that first down. But have you watched Justin Jefferson the last like month, two months of the season? It takes you out of it. like the third the third and one play takes you out of it and then the fourth and one when when Jacobe Brashette I’m sure is relaying it to the huddle just like this is this isn’t going to work right I mean it’s it really is it’s as far as the fan base goes they’re not receiving what they want to hear as far as a coaching staff that has produced the lack of results that they’ve produced it’s just as simple as that there there’s just not going to be any kind uh they’re not getting anything as far as accountability from this coaching staff that they feel like they deserve that and I think that they absolutely do deserve that and it’s just like they watch the and see the results week in and week out and then the the postgame press conferences the you know the following the game and the couple days after that they don’t match the results and that’s where they just feel like well I can’t even trust this team to tell me what went down there I sent you that thing from Ben Johnson today. Ben Johnson coach in his first season with the Chicago Bears. I’m sorry, Noah, but the the Bears are the number one seed in the NFC. This was pointed out by JJ Watt. This was a comment from Ben Johnson asked about Caleb Williams completion percentage in the pass game and he said, quote, “It’s an area we have certainly talked about. Uh did note that Friday was tough day to throw, but Johnson said to fix it fundamentally be correct. primary receiver when he’s open. We’ve got to make sure to hit him. And then all of our pass catchers just happened harped on it today. We need to be more disciplined in our route detail. It’s not what where it needs to be. It’s not where it needs to be. Our depth’s not proper all the time. Our steps isn’t. It’s unbelievable. He says he ended the answer with this. Everyone has a role to play to get the pass game cleared up. It’s not where it needs to be. We’re winning in spite of our passing game. This is the key here. Not because of it. And none of us are pleased with that. Does it sound like Bruce Arens? Bruce Arens would rip people’s ass at press conferences. I mean, the Big Bird says it here in the Sounds like a real head coach. Sounds like a head coach that’s going to hold people accountable that like you and you think like guys are walking Do you think guys are in the locker room or in the coaching, you know, uh, offices and be like, “Well, screw that guy. I’m out.” No. They’re like, “Oh no, I gotta get my act together.” Right. Oh no. But but here’s the difference. Because Ben Johnson from day one, the messaging has been clear. Like anything less than excellence will not be tolerated. They got a twoame mulligan where they started 0 and2 and then since then they’ve been the number one team in the NFC. And like Mike McDonald shows up that it took about a quarter of the season to figure out their defense and then from then on they’ve been one of the best teams in the NFC. Kyle Shanahan when he’s got a quarterback with a with a heartbeat, one of the best teams in the NFC. They’re circumventing Caleb Williams holding the football way too long, right? And putting with the offensive line that they put together on the fly from one of the worst units last year and Ben Johnson brings his philosophy scheme from Detroit and it looks more like the Lions than the Lions did the last couple years when they’ve been dominant up front. I mean, it’s just We are. This is exact. I’m going to tell everybody. We have 400 people watching live. Hit that like button. I’m going to tell you exactly what’s happening. My co-host knows this. I know this. Our producer knows this. The Arizona Cardinals, Michael Bidwell, they do not want to fire Jonathan Ganon. He does. They do not want constant turnover. And there is a big part of me that respects that and says he doesn’t want to be the franchise like the Jets that are running through coaches. and and you want to be able to build something here that lasts and you want to be able to be proud of a product and you want to be able to have fans endure themselves vice versa to this head coach and you want to be able to have continuity in the offseason and they’re they envision themselves all in North Phoenix at that new operation Ganon and Bidwell and Monty because they’re like Ganon and Monty are great football people and they’re incredibly enduring to be around and you want to root for them like unlike Steve Steve K is a very difficult man to root for, especially toward the end. Like it I have people DMing me. It’s like I I really want to like Jonathan Ganon, but he just doesn’t win. Michael Bidwell is going to give Jonathan Ganon, barring something for seeing a fourth year. And he’s going to go I I believe up and down college ranks, the NFL ranks to get a new offensive coordinator. But like this playoff mandate from Benjamin Albbright, which by the way, like I don’t think that’s true. I think like a winning season would suffice. Like this year, like nine and 10 win teams are going to make the playoffs in the NFC. Have you guys looked at the NFC? So I I don’t think that’s true. You’re you’re telling me the Arizona Cardinals with three wins this year without Kyler Murray going into 2026 are going to be able to get to 10 wins with this staff right now? I mean, Brian says it in the chat. You’re delaying the inevitable. I I again I’m not anti-Jonathan Ganon as a person, but he he has he has blown this opportunity to throw a life raft and to and to tell everybody I made a mistake with my offensive play caller. I made a mistake let letting Clayton Adams go. It’s it’s and clearly it’s weighing on him and it’s impacting the defense. Like I I know Jonathan Ganon can coach defense. They’ve had enough personnel to get it done. Actually, yesterday pretty they did a pretty good job defensively for the most part, but nobody cares. Nobody cares because there’s this big elephant in the room in the fact that he does not have a hold on this offense. He’s enabled this guy and it’s going to it whether he gets fired in January or fired next year, it’s delaying the inevitable unfortunately. It just really is because of the fact that like he he’s going to have to hit a home run with his coordinator and his quarterback in an offseason and he he only has control of one of those two things. He doesn’t have control of both. Yeah. The latest on Kyler Murray as far as him being eligible to return from IR. Plus an update as far as where the Cardinals stand in the draft standings and your super chats all coming your way right here. PHX Cardinals. We appreciate you all. Right now, I want to wait a second before we go back to to Kyler Murray here. I want to stay on the subject of Jonathan Ganon for for one more piece if we could because I I do think like this is going to dominate. They’re playing the Rams this weekend. They’re playing the Rams in the finale. They play Houston. Like in my opinion, there’s one more winnable game really on the schedule and that’s against the the Falcons in in three weeks at State Farm Stadium. But I I mean Jonathan Ganon Bo, I know you were on Southwest Bias earlier today. You were talking to Espo about it. You know, do does your opinion differ from mine as it relates to why we believe he’s going to be retained? And do you think anything could impact that between now and the end of the season? Like I I believe he believes that he’s coming back and there are people out there that he believe he’s coming back. I mean, does losing out change that? Do blowouts change that? Yeah, I I still think that there is a long way to go and the losses can continue to pile up and things that were true two weeks ago or that even remain true today, things can certainly change is is the perception and new information is provided. Um I I think it’s just too much to look away from to not at least consider it, right? But I think it’s like you choose your own adventure as far as you know what that looks like if your ownership and if you’re moving forward with Monty or whatever you’re moving forward with is what undertaking you’re going to have to um go into this off season and like Bidwell is hookline and sinker with the direction the culture that’s being built here and doesn’t want to abandon that because of what he perceives as and you know all of us perceive as a brutal season. Yeah. Right. So, but if there’s some sort of, lack of a better term, smoking gun that would prove Jonathan Ganon not be fit moving forward, I think that that could present itself in in five weeks of of of more uncompetitive football. Yeah. And I again, I’m not rooting for that. I think it’s unlikely. I’m with you. I’m I’m still with you. I think that it’s um and this is just us, you know, reporting it and what heard uh what you and Benjamin Albbright are are hearing is like he’s coming back and what’s what it’s going to look like. Um hopefully it’s it’s something that could inspire some sort of confidence outside of what the status quo is pro proven to be. Yeah. I just I it’s the it’s a question the fan base wants asked right now like how could how could he be returning? What if things change over the last five weeks? So I I didn’t want to be naive and not acknowledge it. But I also know like you know Steve Kim remained employed for a long time and it was it was the right time to pivot off of him after they fired Steve Wilks and they didn’t and he was enabled for a long time. And I’m not comparing Ganon to Steve Wilks. I’m more comparing it from a standpoint of loyalty. And there’s there’s I think Michael Bidwell gets a a rap sometimes of too quick to make change. And I think sometimes it’s the opposite approach. He’s like he’s loyal. I I remember Ken Whizzing got an extra year when a lot of people didn’t think he would. It’s different though. It feels he’s shown like when we talk about lack of a precedent of the head coach getting a fourth year like Steve K post Bruce Arens he had a similar stretch. Yeah. The team in 2018 went three and 13, fired their coach. Kim got to hire another coach. The team goes 510 and one the next season and then goes eight and eight. So you you’ve got three like the the three-year record there. It’s probably pretty in line with where Gan and Monty are going to be after this little threeyear stretch. Yeah. And for me it’s like I think about Michael Bidwell not wanting to go back. I don’t think he wants to go back out and look for another head coach. I don’t think he I don’t think it’s a money thing. I just don’t think I know he likes Jonathan Ganon and I know he believes in what he’s doing. And I I think they I think I know the coaching staff believes that they have not had a healthy enough roster to win this year, which I to me is very shortsighted and naive. Like I I’m I’m not buying that for a second. Let’s talk about this Kyler Murray situation. Well, yeah. But first, I mean, I I I think that like you you look at how things have played out and what’s resulted in in really been the deciding factor between winning and losing football games. It’s not the it’s not the roster’s fault. It’s not the players fault. And like and that that’s been part of the problem as it relates to a lot of his pressers too recently is it just felt very like well either he puts it a little bit on the players or nobody gets the blame, right? Or he puts it on himself. He says it’s my fault. It’s my I mean your your coaching staff when you hired it was the youngest in NFL history. You didn’t put an experienced person on your staff with you. I mean the most tenure was Jeff Rogers. Yeah. And they have not improved. These guys haven’t gotten better. Yeah. And what Bidwell and Ganon if they’re going to be a part of of this this brain trust going forward continue to be is if they they have to realize what Bidwell I think got a taste of for the first time for this organization in three decades that outside perspective thoughts and voices benefit this team. And as much as you might be impressed by your guys, right, there’s guys doing it out there at a higher level right now that you’ve got to be able to find and recruit and bring in to help revamp some key areas of your coaching staff. I mean, I I I people are going to call me shill and that’s fine. Like I I think John and Ganon can get the defense right at some point. I mean, like, who who knows? Like I I I think he’s a good defensive coach. Do you trust his game management right now? You would say no. And then especially objectively, do you trust him to push the right buttons with an offense? Yeah. And I I just you just can’t you can’t say yes to that. You just can’t I mean to look at a game plan week after week, year after year that’s put together that that has hampered this team. I mean, this this team watch the Patriots tonight compare their skill players to the Cardinals. That’s right. And see what the Patriots have been doing in one year with Mike Vrabel with largely the same guys, you know, throw digs in there and they got a rookie running back and then it’s just, yeah, Drake May is a special player, but it’s like they didn’t tailor an offense for Kyler Murray. They basically said, “This is a one-sizefits-all offense, and we need a we need a Big Ben kind of quarterback, the lumbering guy that can come in here and only play a certain style, and it’s let’s trade for Desmond Ritter, and let’s trot out Colt McCoyer in training camp.” I mean, it’s been mostly bad. And now we’re sitting here in December of 2025. And it’s like he’s a I think is another part of this too is he’s a month away from having to having to hire a new coordinator or starting that process. And then I read Albert Brer this morning. Guess who’s a, you know, jumping ahead toward their head coaching openings? It’s the Titans and the Giants. They got people in mind. Well, those people are going to come with their own set of coordinators. And it’s like they’ve been doing their homework for two months. Cardinals are just continuing to employ these guys until they they you can say, “Hey, their contracts are expiring.” It’s like you’re you’re behind the eightball. Now, we happen to know who they’re going to reach out to, and I don’t think they’re going to have much competition, but all that to say, it just it does not look like a franchise that’s buttoned up right now. It looks like a franchise that’s reactionary. Does that inspire some confidence that not many teams are going to be reaching out to those the candidates? I mean, like, I don’t mind the candidates. I don’t I don’t mind them. Yeah. But it’s not I’m messing with you. They’re not hiring Brian Dable, right? Yeah. I don’t not not Kevin either. No. All right. Finally, we get to that update on Kyler Murray plus super chats. PHX Cardinals. Sorry. There’s just a lot a lot of emotion going on right now. And hoham, Kyler Murray will never play another snap for this franchise, but we have to do this whole dog and pony show. Yeah. Because the Cardinals, to their credit, also have to do it, Bo. That’s right. Uh, they got to keep up appearances. They got to keep everything hunky dory. Everything’s good, great, grand. You even got Trey Benson or I’m sorry, Trey McBride talking about Kyler. Yeah. Let’s hear from Trent McBride. Talk about Kyler. Yeah, Kyler’s a a warrior. You know, he’s a guy who, you know, gave me my first chance. You know, when I when I came in, he him and I were getting rolling, and I have a lot of chemistry with him. He’s a great player, great person, and uh, you know, I’m excited for for whatever happens with him. Um, you know, I think he’s he’s rehabing great. He’s getting better. Um, he’s been in the building. He’s been at all the pre uh all the meetings, things like that. So, um, I think he’s trending the right way. and uh you know, we’ll see what happens this week. That was at 12:45 today. Jonathan Ganon opening up his press conference and then a couple answers afterwards. Um couple things here. Kyler, we will not open his window. Not quite there yet. I think so. I mean, you know, he’s doing things that he hadn’t been able to do, you know, in in the past year. So, we just take it day by day. You know, what he puts it all our players that aren’t out there, you know what they put into the game and into the prep. And I know they all want to play, you know what I mean? And when your health is um preventing you from doing that, it can get frustrating. There’s no doubt with him. Yeah. Have empty full. No, I mean, he’s working every day, you know what I mean? He But I know he wants to be out there. Um it’s it’s just unfortunate right now. Katon Slovis will play for this team before Kyle Slovis, baby. Kyler Murray will never play for this franchise again. There’s an unspoken or spoken understanding. Kyler Murray is healthy enough to play. Kyler Murray is going to go to another franchise this off season, whether it be by release or hopefully by trade uh for the fact of trying to recoup a draft pick. And let me preface this for the 500 people watching. We’re not rooting for Kyler Murray to be bench, traded, or cut. We’re coming at it from a vantage point of this is what the team is doing. They softbenched him. There there was a situation that happened mid-season. More information will come out this offseason and they have parted ways without parting ways and both are keeping up appearances and Kyler Murray is going to have a fresh start somewhere else. So to ensure that and to ensure that there are no hiccups in that plan and to ensure that Kyler Murray stays healthy, he’s going to remain on IR until the very last minute. He might be activated before the end of the season. He may not be. I don’t know why you put him on the practice field, but he will be healthy the minute the off seasonason begins and the minute he needs to take a physical. That’s what’s happening. Yeah. Kyler Murray’s path out of Arizona, uh, it bodess well for him to play nice. Kyler Murray has a lot of respect for his teammates in that locker room, still active and playing for this team. Kyler Murray has a ton of respect for Jonathan Ganon. It doesn’t it it wouldn’t be in his nature to go and and make kind of a big kind of stink about this, right? And it wouldn’t get him out of Arizona and into maybe a a different situation. Um I think he understands that all parties involved have to continue to be amicable as far as this divorce goes. Yeah. And that’s it. And then we’ll do this every week. So set your watches. We’re going to do this every Monday for the next Yeah. he’ll be eligible still next week to uh be designated return from IR and you know you might even get as far as he’s designated return when there’s let’s say less than three weeks left in the season and they can put up that charade three and 12 Cardinals activate Kyler Murray he Ganon was doing radio this afternoon and they asked him if he was going to get surgery and he’s like honestly I don’t know I don’t think so I don’t know for and he doesn’t know if he’s going to play again this season. So, come on. We’re all We’re speaking in hypotheticals. These are It’s a Fugazi. We all know, but we all know what this is. We all know what this is. Surgery’s on the table now. I’m telling you right now what the people on Twitter that are like they have to activate him. They’re not activating him to play him. It’s not happening. We’ve been tell we’ve been on this for two months. They benched him softly. There was a there was a situation that led to that. The Cardinals and Kyler Murray are going their separate ways. Now, I listen, this off season, Cardinals could regret it when they’re staring down the barrel of uh you know, M. Jones and some other people, but like they’ve made their bed. This is that that’s why this is going to get crazy this off seasonason as it relates to like Ganon coming back, Kyler Kyler leaves, who’s playing quarterback for this team. this coaching staff is 20 games under 500, right? Like, how what are you doing? I I It is the most chaotic. But you know what? They embrace the chaos. They embrace the chaos. They want it. And maybe they maybe they’ve had just too much continuity. Last year was just too much continuity. So, let’s just take a grenade to everything this off. Look, if Chicago’s winning, in spite of their passing attack, they need to become one of those teams. But, they need to find the play caller. Is Ben Johnson coming here? Ben Johnson walking through that door. Uh your super chats plus more on Kyler and and crew coming up next. PHX Cardinals. So I will be sure to do that uh per show moving forward here when we talk about we lose subscribers we gain. Yeah, when we lo we lose subscribers when I do the fart noise with my mouth and so I will and people don’t want me doing it but it’s to emphasize that the Cardinals are farting around this year with everything and anything. They’re having to do a charade with their quarterback. And again, everybody’s at fault here. And this coaching staff is on the front line. We got five more weeks of this. We had so much show to get into today. Are we gonna Are we going to table a bunch of it for tomorrow? Never. And get into hammering today. I want to get here’s what I want to get into. Noah made this uh graphic based on your tweet yesterday. you Bo had a tweet yesterday and it’s like it’s bigger than just the record because I think the record in and of itself is damning 13 and and potentially three and and 14 this year if they lose out um which they’re going to be favored in any games I don’t like moving forward maybe Atlanta um and then 15 and 31 in three seasons but then you look at how this has gone down this season let’s see it the season from hell is what we’re calling it Cardinals are three and Those poor little Red Birds. That’s how I feel right now. Cardinals are our audio listeners have no idea the horror that just the humanity or lack thereof that we’re seeing on the screen right now. The Cardinals have lost three straight and nine of 10. They’ve had a five-game losing streak. They’re they’re bound to match that at least. They lost to a team in the 1 and 11 Titans that Bo and I both firmly feel like would have gone winless had they not blown that game. Like I I think that goes without saying. They’re a joke of a franchise and the Cardinals lost to them. They are an NF they tied an NFL record 0 and seven in one score games. Okay. If by less than four points if they go eight zero and eight in one score games by less than four points, they will set an NFL record. Um they will undoubtedly do this. They’ve blown three fourth quarter leads of seven plus points, first in NFL history. They’re the first team in 25 years to lose a four plus turnover game. Those teams were 50 and0. The defense took the ball away four times against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Had a defensive touchdown. The Cardinals still lost. They still trailed most of that game. They’re 0 and4 in the against the NFC West and two Rams losses away from being swept and three and I think 15 and in and three years whatever the record might be. The regime as a whole is 15 and 31. I mean like that I think everybody for that organization owes Steve Wils an apology. Like Steve Wils got fired for way less. Now, they were getting blown out and it was ugly. But I I put on Twitter last night, I think this is the worst Cardinal season of the last 25 plus years. I think it’s worse than the Wilks season. I think it’s worse than the expectations missing the playoffs in 2016. I I think it’s worse than 2022 because you knew that was the beginning of the end. You had just made the playoffs. This is the worst season of my adult life. Plus, as an Arizona Cardinal fan, I agree with where the expectations were. You can even, I think, throw on there as far as just the uh just how the Kyler Murray situation has played out. We’ll add that for next time. Yeah, it’s uh really really unfortunate. I think you could probably go survive four deep maybe. But like each and every one of those things is like damning to a season that’s that leaves a stain on a coaching staff or a player like if a player has multiple performances like that that prove to you that’s evidence against you that you’re not fit for the position that you hold. None of those stat do any of those stats represent this team being close? Like, and I’m not saying they’re not. I think they could be close talent-wise. And I think that’s where a lot of people get confused. Like, they have good talent. We like their talent. They’re going to add more talent. None of the players that we like, with all due respect to Jaylen Thompson, who I like as a player, but they’re not being gutted this off season. This isn’t the offseason where you’re losing Anquin Balden, Carlos Dansby, and Antrell Roll. Like, that’s that’s not what’s happening. you’re all these players are going to be under contract. The rookies ought to be better and so on and so forth. So I they are close from a talent perspective, but like keeping everything status quo and suggesting they’re close is ridiculous. And they you made a great point yesterday during our watch along. Monty Oenford came out over the summer and what did he say specifically about the fact that he believed the Cardinals were close? Well, yeah, it was at uh it was at the winter meetings or I’m sorry, the uh the combine where he was saying that when they went two and five down the stretch of those five losses that they lost by, you know, one possession three times. So, you know, kind of that’s been a crutch that’s been around for this regime since this off season. And it’s it’s not one that you know in a in a league where 70% of the games are are one possession. Like you got to find a way like you you can’t you know you’re finding ways to lose. Like that’s why it’s I’m I’m flabbergasted by like this season because you would think you would find a way to at least win one or two of these games and they’re just they they don’t even by luck figure it out. most of the time recently they’re losing and they have to try to play catch-up in the like these these fourth quarters against the Jags and the Buccaneers they’re playing catch-up in the fourth quarter every fourth down that’s been fourth and short offense or defense they lose that battle fourth and two to the Packers fourth and four to the to the Jags fourth and one and fourth and two yesterday it’s just you go 0 for four in that. I’m sure there’s more, but you’re 0 for seven and staring down NFL history. You’re saying, “Well, I I think we got the right crew here. We just we just need to figure it out. We just didn’t learn how to win.” And like that’ll be interesting to see. As you pointed out, it’s been 46 games. I mean, how how many more losses how many more games is it going to take conservatively? How many how many games can they win down the stretch? We’re gonna get to your super chats here in a site. We got 20. We’re gonna get We’re gonna get to them all. Hit that like button. How many games conservatively can they win? Can they win? Conservatively conservatively one conser two max. What are the what’s the other game other than Atlanta? Home finale against the Rams if they sit players. Yeah. I mean, if if the playoff standings and sometime very often they are like they’re they’re pretty set in stone. Um, but if they’re playing for a number one seed or if they’re playing for the division, like I saw an odds chart today, Vegas has the Rams and the Seahawks as the two Super Bowl odds on favorites. Yep. They’re one two and then they got AFC teams. Like those two teams reside in your division. They’re not going anywhere. Yeah, I’m with I I think the I think they got one win left in them for for the rest of the year. I think they probably win one more game and I think it’s the Atlanta game. I think you get Kurt Cousins in your building. Falcons are ready to I mean Raheem Morris, will he be fired before the Cardinals get to see him? I think there’s a possibility. Like yeah, the there they just lost to the Jets. Cardinals and the Jets have the same record since the beginning of 2023. Uh here are the here’s the draft uh standings via gross charts. Let’s start with this one. Noah Cardinals right now are picking eighth. They have the same record as the three teams in front of them. But the Cardinals, it’s like a blessing and a cur. It’s not a blessing, it’s like a double curse. You play in the NFC West, you’ve got a 565 strength of schedule. So you’ve got one of the toughest schedules in the league. You’ve got the second toughest in the NFL based on strength of schedule. So it bumps you down. So you get knocked against that. So this chart is telling us that they believe the Cardinals are going to finish with right around pick seven. Seven or eight. Washington’s going to win next week. They play the Vikings. Yeah. And the and then the Titans, I think, play the Jets or the Saints. A couple of those teams play each other at the top. The Browns play somebody. I mean th this is not over. This is the This is what it believes it’s going to go down. Cardinals have an 83% chance to have a top 10 pick, which is in my opinion, it’s a flipping lock. That’s a lock of the year. The top five pick is 21%. I I I think the top five pick is a coin flip. I think it’s I because I I do believe if you have three if you have three wins, you’re you’re going to pick top five. Like I I think to your point, I think the Commanders have a couple more wins. I think there’s a potential that the Jets win one or two more games. We’ll see about the Browns. I I the Titans and the and the Raiders look done. I mean, they look the Titans are done. The Raiders are done. The Saints play the garbage division themselves. So, who knows? But I mean they’re they’re the Browns, the Jets, the the Giants, and the Commanders all have I think three wins like the Cardinals do. The current NFL draft standings or the Cardinals right now. We got them. Let’s take a look at that eighth. Can’t believe it’s gone this way. It’s unreal. But no, but now you got to finish this. Now we Now we need to finish finish the job. I I’ve gone full heel turn. Yeah, heard so much slo and crap and garbage. This is a garbage year. You failed the fan base. Finish the job. Please finish sucking. You just uh unlocked you took your key fob out for your tank. Trip trip. You got it unlocked and started. I You’ve You’ve lost Johnny Venerable to whatever this was. You’ve lost You’ve lost the plot with your boy. You have lost the plot. I that press conference today I’m just like you you’re above firing any of your offensive coaches. I’m not above rooting for you to lose out and get a top five pick. That’s how I feel. I hate losing. I’m not going to root against them when I’m watching them this weekend. I’m going to root for them and I want the players to succeed. But Monday through Saturday, we got to we’re doing the show. We’re slogging through this December as you mentioned the long December, the longest December. Finish the job. Get me Ty Simpson, Dante Moore, Fernando Mendoza, and and inject some someium in the worst way. Monty Oenford’s been in a lot of Oregon uh games. Cardinals have been to every Oregon game this year. Quack- quack. You guys have been crushing it as far as your chat goes. Let’s get to these super chats, Noah, if we could. 20 super chats. How about Shaft? Five Bucks leading us off right and early. If things play out as I predict them to, we’ll wind up with the fifth pick behind Tennessee, New Orleans, Giants in Vegas. And Tennessee and the Giants don’t need a quarterback. Can we trade up for Fernando Mendoza or Dante Moore? Sure they can. But is it worth the price it’s going to cost? I also think like you al you also have to weigh and this is where it becomes difficult with with JG returning. It’s like you’re going to trade a bunch of capital, go get a rookie and then mandate they make the playoffs next year. That’s why like from an outsers’s perspective, what people are saying is it would make more sense to say, well, we have a new coach and we have a rookie quarterback and who knows, let’s just assume Austin Ford returns. And it’s just like, okay, the new coach and the rookie quarterback are going to give time to to develop and get and get their their you know what together. Not, hey, we have to save our jobs and hey Dante Moore, go play hero ball. Like I just there’s there’s just like a dirty feeling with that. I don’t feel great about it. I I would want Dante Moore to win. Yeah. But to say, “Hey, Dante Moore, go save Jonathan’s job.” That’s that’s a tough look. At the end of the day, has the evidence been laid out there as far as the quarterback position and this team and Jonathan Ganon? They need a starting caliber quarterback. Kyler Murray is about 500 with Ganon is a is a starting he’s a starting caliber quarterback in the NFL, right? Jacobe Brassette is a backup quarterback with a backup quarterback regardless of what the stats tell you. Jonathan Ganon’s teams are two and 14. It’s a razor edge difference between high high level backup and starting caliber quarterback, but you have to break through. You have to find a starter. You can’t just go out there and get another Jacobe Brassette and have two of them on the same roster. You’ve got two of them starter. I know you got to figure it out. That’s why like the biggest hesitation is you got people like what I’m saying. I’m just relaying them. Who are they getting? There’s no one to get. It’s like you think you think teams are just I take our starter. The Cardinals are doing that to other teams. I take our starter and Cardinals like I’m very hesitant doing this because I I know I’m going to take a lot of [ __ ] for it. Hit me with it. I think you got to check in on uh on Derek Carr. Yeah. No. No. Yes. I think you got to call Derek Carr and see if he wants to come out of retirement and you say, “Can this be Carson Palmer from 2013?” No. No. No. Desperate times, friends. Is he like How old is Derek Carr? Probably 34, right? He is 34. Wow. Look at him with his nice family four days ago. They just announced they’re pregnant with their fifth child. Don’t wish this fresh hell on Derek Carr. Let him retire in peace. What do you want? What else you got? Well, I don’t If it was up to me, I would keep Kyler Murray. Like, what else are you going to do? You can’t. No, they can’t. I know they can’t. Reconciliable differences. And you’re not like I listen, guess who’s got guess whose draft stock is rising? The kid from USC. They’re saying he’s the second round pick now. I love that kid. I take that kid in a minute and develop him the right way. They’re not getting M. Jones. We’re just going to go full-blown quarterback offseason free agency preview. They’re not getting M. Jones. Okay. They’re not getting Daniel Jones. They’re not getting Yeah, that’s good. Do you think they Do you think they have a plan? Here are the free agent quarterbacks. Aaron Rogers, Russell Wilson, Case Keenum, Josh Johnson, Jeff Driscoll, Joe Flacco. I mean, like I Derek Car sounding pretty good, isn’t he? I’m going to tell I’m going to tell you what I think they could do. I think they could I think they could go to I think they would take Gino Smith for like a seventh. I’d rather have Derek Carr. I think they could I think they would try to sell people like Gino Smith knows the NFC West. He was set up to fail with the Raiders. I think Gino I think Gino Smith I think Gino Smith’s way more he throws too many turnovers. He’s atrocious. He’s terrible. I know he’s terrible. Yeah, but I like he’s an obtainable starting quarterback though. I just gave you gave me a guy who’s been retired for over a year. Just a year. Just this season there. Well, he didn’t play last year though. He got hurt and he was like later. He hasn’t played in like 18 months. Yeah. Oh, I Mondo’s saying Marcus Mariota. He and Jacobe are the same guy. They’re the same guy. These they’re backup quarter. Marcus Mariota backup quarterback. Sign me up. Jacobe Brassette, backup quarterback. Sign me up. These are all I know. I know. I’m gonna take tra crap for it, but I I’m I feel I appreciate the creativity. Not just being creative. I mean, this is We’re back in the new corner. Are you a fan? Do you text Derek Carr? You got No. If you look at my Twitter receipts, you you’ll know that I am not a Derek Carr fan. I’m going to tell you right now, all these options are getting Ganon fired next year. But Zack Wilson, Zach Wilson can’t play. He flat out can’t play. Didn’t uh didn’t the kid from Texas, the seventh round pick, didn’t he outplay Wilson? Isn’t he ahead of him on the depth chart in Miami? Knowing what we know about who Ganon likes as his next OC, we’re not going to reveal any names today. Who do you believe would fit well with either one of those guys? Like veteran. Are we talking veteran market? Yeah. Rookies aside, because you know they’re going to get go out and get a veteran. Um, like who? Hang on. I I can’t we can’t reveal anything yet. Yeah. Hang on. I’m looking something up. Give me a minute. Go to another super chat. Okay, sorry to ruin everybody’s Monday with this, but look, desperate times. T Clary, no sense of urgency. Play calling is awful, unimaginative. Coaches sucking the life out of good talent. Sucking the life out of their fans, too. How about our guy Hayden? He’s been a uh supporter for the last two months. Thank you so much, Hayden. He’s saying Ganon after he got his PR training from the Cardinals has been different ever since. Um, he’s got his he’s using my bow face palm emoji. Johnny’s deep in research. I’m going to continue on here. You guys crushed it as far as the super chats. Karp Fish, how likely is it that Stfansky is calling plays for the Arizona Cardinals next year? 10%. Yeah, not bloody likely. There’s uh Stfansky and and Petting are very close. He’s his me Stfansky is Pseen’s mentor. They talk on the phone like weekly and like I think Stfansky would be good. There’s we I was told there’s a lot of red tape with that. Not happening. He and Dable not happening. The names we’ve heard of though. Yeah, that they aren’t the names. Shane lame. Everything is right in front of the owner’s face that JG and DP need to go. Every stat is screaming get rid of them and teams are laughing at their scheme. I don’t disagree. I mean, how can you disagree? Just trying to give his players props like revealing like, oh yeah, and look, it it does like Ganon’s even said like coaching in the NFL or just playing in the NFL, it’s an open book test. Like if you if you watch the film, you’ll see the tendencies, you’ll see the formations, and if you do your homework, like you should be pretty well prepared, then it becomes an execution game. But like in critical situations, fourth and short, fourth and one, fourth and two, and your blinkers on, it makes execution incredibly hard. Can I interrupt for a second? Yeah. I found the I found him. Found the quarterback. You found him. Yep. 29 years old, went to Washington State, 6’1, 225, career 2:1 touchdown interception ratio. Gardner Mchu, I like it more than Derek Carr. Gardner. I I’m going to go on the record right now. If the hires are what we believe, put it on the board. December 1st, Gardner Mchu. He’s a backup. I don’t disagree, but I like Jacobe Brousett’s going to have more viable like starting like traits than he I think they’ll bring him in with Jacobe Brassette. That’s my prediction assuming that they hire who we think they could hire. Gardenner Mchi is my prediction. People are hating that. People are hating that. Yeah, they should. I hate that. Keeping it going. I love these super chats. How about uh Indigenous Daddy? Don’t we play the AFC West? How do we expect playoffs with this staff and potential rookie quarterback? Next year won’t be different. I mean, you’re just preaching to the choir. You need to get you need to devel you need to get a a quarterback first or second round, primarily a first round, either trading up in the beginning of the second or getting one at the top of the draft and develop them the right way and and surround them with talent and and surround them with um guys who believe in them. Do not try to put a a band-aid over this thing. Also, like the NFC, this is the best the NFC’s ever been like top to bottom. So, like it’s not a bad year for you to be terrible, but you got to be able to have self-awareness to say like this is who we’re competing against. I saw some the ninth seed in the NFC has like on pace for like nine wins. It’s like you’re screwed with that. You got to be smarter than that. Desert Vulture jumping in front of the show. What Ganon doesn’t understand is if when he’s fired next year maybe other owners will not entertain him for head coaching jobs for a long long time. This could be this very well could be it for sure. Like I mean you if you’re this many games under 500 like I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say like he he’ll never get another head coaching job. Yeah. He would have he would have to I mean Steve Spagnola is an elite defensive coordinator probably going to the Hall of Fame. He cannot get the stench off his time with the St. Louis Rams. Yeah. And I I’m I’m guessing Spagnol’s record was better than Ganon’s. Yeah. That that was when before Kronhite owned the Rams. It it this and that’s why it’s like Kroni, excuse me. Where’s the sense of urgency JG to go this your And he he said today because people are bringing up the record now to him pressors. You’re sitting there Bo and people are like this record and he’s like damn right it’s my record. And it’s like, do something about it. Change something. Yeah. Our guy, Chef, what’s up, my fellow bird gangsters? I feel the pain in the chat. Petsing is close to getting uh make the fans somewhat happy. Fire Dr. Evil Spe Steve Spagnola 11 and 41. 1141. Steve Spagnola. Yeah. 11 and 41. Was that? So he was with Well, here’s He had a year that he was an interim coach, though. Here is three years with the Rams. 1-5, 7-9, two-4. They fired him. And then he had an interim year in 2017 when somebody got one of the 100 coaches of the Giants got fired. He went 1 and three. So it’s not it’s not really that, but it’s kind of that. Okay. Spagnola’s got maybe the wor That’s why he’s not getting a job. That’s like never. Yeah. Keeping it going with our super chats. How about uh Sheamus Bo, will you please ask when we lose next week what coaches are actually doing to get better and not just talking out of his ass each week about details? Yeah, Bo, ask him. That’s a fair question and I think Ann will say that’s a fair question and hopefully we’ll get something that resembles an honest answer. Good. I think that’s a good idea, Sheamus. instead of like instead of the people out there like pounding the table saying like the media is the one that’s leading letting them off the hook. I don’t like Ganon’s comment about like like we know like they’re coaching and they know what they need to do to correct it and it’s just not being corrected. I think that puts too much ownership of the players. I think that’s giving themselves too much credit that they’re able to identify what the problem is. Yeah. I don’t I don’t I I think you’re just when you’re getting out schemed every week, that’s not a player execution problem. Like you can say like it was an execution problem against the Titans. I’ll buy that. You were fumbling footballs and stuff, but like you’re getting out schemed against the Seahawks and the 49ers and Duvall jerk jerk dude in in Jacksonville. You’re getting you’re getting schemed by outskinned by Todd BS. You’re getting out schemed the last month. You’re not getting It’s not a player’s problem. Our guy Charlie Sinclair, resident Chargers fan. I know you keep saying he’s going to fire them in January. Have we considered? What if he doesn’t? No, he’s not. He’s not being retained. The public outcry would be probably Yeah, it’s already at a at a loud pitch. It’s going to be even higher than that. How about he he’s like we know the OC’s he wants to get. Okay. Uh Indigenous Daddy with a very generous $20. Thank you for that. Is it possible Kyler said something behind closed doors to the OC, especially after the Titans loss. I can imagine he would stay quiet and that was the reason they softbenched him. Sorry I can’t type out the Clown’s name. Can’t get into what happened, why it happened, when it happened, but they had a falling out during the year, and this is what’s what’s I mean, they they’re they’re separating. They’re parting ways. They had a falling out. Our guy Keith always thought he’s making good points in the chat. Here’s his super chat. Antonio Pierce was beloved by Raiders players. They fired him after he went four and 13 after his only full season. Being liked is not leadership. I think there were some other things that went into AP. Like wasn’t he out at the casinos until the wee hours in the morning before a loss at one point? Correct. Yeah. Ganon is really well respected around like league circles as a coach. He just may not be a head coach. He just might not be a head coach. Yeah. Um who else we got going on here? How about Harrison Larson? Wife is a Rams fan. We always get tickets to the Rams cards at SoFi. Don’t really want to go this year. I’ve lost face in the staff. burn it all. It’s a great stadium though. I think it’s the best stadium in the NFL. Very nice. Um, Buonaki making the playoffs next year with a rookie quarterback per Albbright. With JG, don’t see it. But with McCarthy, Salah, I can see it. Rob Robert Salah, I will die on this hill is the quickest way back to relevancy for this franchise. You can scoff at that. You’re scoffing at me like I was laughing at the our previous super chat. Somebody was suggesting divorce because his wife is a Rams fan. But uh no, stick together. Stay together. You can be a divided household. This is a fun hobby. This isn’t real life. Um although it it’s seeping into my personal life. Ask my wife. Terrible mood all the time. This team sucks. Uh Robert Salah would, in my opinion, get the Cardinals back to viability uh the quickest. McCarthy. I think I I don’t I some somebody close to me was texting me like what today like would you be interested in Mike Tomlin if the Steelers parted with him and all that. I don’t want anybody outside of this division. Nobody. Nobody knows what it’s like to coach against these guys. Mike Tomlin’s losing to garbage coaches every other week. Like I Mike Tomlin, Kevin Okonnell, all these other guys. They’re good coaches. Some of them are great coaches to start. McCarthy’s won a Super Bowl. Don’t give me anybody who who doesn’t have an elite resume in this division. Robert Salah is beating teams with USFL players. Look at the players he had yesterday and he embarrassed Kevin Stfansky. He’s getting takeaways and pressures with me and Bo. I I He was He won se He went seven and 10 with Zack Wilson in the AFC and and was three and two and three in in front of the division. Woody Johnson fired him. He is the co defensive coach of the year. I He would be my first and only call. I would say Robert, I know somebody was like, “What if you give a pick to the 49ers?” Give them all your picks. If it’s if it’s an elite head coaching prospect, do it. That’s what I would do. AZ Moses, problem is we’re already the Jets Browns of the NFC. Correct. It’s going to be tough to beat those accusations. No doubt about it. Correct. Buaki, he’s back. If Bidwell wants culture, why not get Salah? Who succeeds in New York? won six to seven games with Wilson. Knows how to coach. Look at San Francisco. Not afraid to make tough choices. Actually holds accountability. Yeah. Keeping it going here. Thank you, Bubanaki. Uh how about we’ve got native trader. Need a coach from our division, just like Johnny was saying, who knows what it takes to be competitive in NFC West first, which equals competitive leaguewide. 100% for Robert Salah. I mean, it’s it’s a guy who’s been a head coach before, check. It’s a guy that knows the division, check. It’s a guy that’s succeeding right now, check. It checks every box for you. There’s not a box that doesn’t check. The only one that you could say is, “Well, he doesn’t know how to develop a quarterback.” Like Robert Salah could win with a journeyman quarterback. Robert’s like the a big knock on Ganon right now is this team is set up to win despite quarterback play. Hey, you went all in on line of scrimmage players and defenders, right? Like the Cardinals should be winning a lot like the Bears are winning right now. They can’t even do that, right? Robert Solid could come I think Robert Sal could come in and win nine games next year with a Gardner Mincchi with somebody like that and you’re going to be winning games 10 to 17 and people are going to love it and instead of like, hey, let’s blow every fourth quarter in new and embarrassing ways. How about our friend over here Shane Lame? None of this makes sense. They’re not going to be better next year. Next year is another trust the process year. They threw away their franchise quarterback. Who are they getting that’s better? What a mess. I think I mean like does Kyler Murray have a market though, Shane Lame? Does are they able to trade him? I think a lot of that’s going to come out. If Kyler Murray doesn’t have a market and they have to cut him out, right? Then the league is showing you what they think of Kyler and his contract. But if I I will say if Kyler Murray has a market and people are like here’s a third, here’s a fourth, whatever. And you’re like, “Okay, sure. Let’s get the cap relief. Let’s get the picks,” then you got to wake up and go to the facility the next day and be like, “What do we do now?” Yeah. Like I I I don’t think we could like Jacobe Brassette has not been good the last couple of weeks. Does Jacobe Brassette win that game yesterday? Does does Jacobe Brassette beat Jacksonville? I don’t think Kyle or does Kyler Murray win those two games? I think without Drew Pettson, he might. I don’t want to see any more Drew Pups in Kyler Murray, though. We’ve established that. No, I I think that the the difference that you would find from Kyler and Brassette is the ability to potentially get leads earlier in games. They just play from behind constantly and and Brassette’s able to, you know, put the team in a position to get back into it and then just can’t get past it. And I think that’s the difference between like they when was the last time like they they were legitimately ahead in a game? It it was Dallas. It was it was far too long ago. Our guy Lamar is back today. Thank you Lamar. Good to hear from it. JG going to get hit with the Josh Dos effect. Hope not. Just journeyman. Journeyman head coach. They just quarterback situation next year. I mean, what what do you think Monty Austin is thinking right now? Hopefully about a who his next quarterback is free I think you gota get one in free agency and the draft. Yeah, I think you got No, I mean Brassett’s under like Brassette like I will take Brassette like 100 times out of 100 as a backup quarterback but like okay so let’s say I know we got we’re overtime we got super chat still. Let’s say that the Cardinals are picking fifth and they get Ty Simpson in the draft and you have Jacobe Brousette and Jonathan Gan is your head coach. So you’re just going into next season, Ty Simpson’s your starter in the NFC West week one. They they would probably do this. It would be insufferable, but it’d be like this. You don’t know who’s going to start and like Simpsons like might not see the field for the first couple weeks. They probably Yeah, it would be probably that’s a bad take all the fun out of it. They would take all the fun out of having a top pick quarterback. That’s a bad plan. All right, keep things going. Sorry, we could do a whole show. This off seasonason is gonna be wild. Yeah, Desert Vulture, we have to lose the Falcons, the Rams number one pick. There is an incentive. Yeah, huge incentive. There’s an incentive to play Keaton Slovis after these next two weeks in my opinion. Do with the follow the Vikings lead. Yeah. What we got here? Uh DS, even if they wanted Kyler return to the field, I don’t think he’d want to. The franchise has disrespected him since they then he was drafted. Well, I Ganon and Monty have embraced him. I know he and Bidwell had that spout against his contract. Like Kyler Murray got two years to he really got 2024 to show that he can make lead this team to the postseason. And then they didn’t add a quarterback this off seasonason outside Jacobe, but like it was understood that Jacobe is a backup. And then Kyler Murray got hurt and then they liked what they saw from Jacobe and then some other stuff went down. They’re like, “All right, we’re done.” Indigenous Daddy, would the OC they’re looking at win with K1 in your opinion? Win what? I don’t know if you can like You’ve seen two offensive play callers and Kyler Murray’s got a sub 500 record. Um that that’s tough to say. Um, you might be able to have some success. We’re not going to get to find out. That’s That’s No, you We People are going to be asking that after the hiring’s happen for sure. Yeah. How about Brian? Brian P. David Gerardi, I’m assuming, is who the name is floating around based on JV’s hints. Yeah. And uh we got our guy DS back. Carr led the Raiders to a 12-4 playoff run. Was an MVP candidate. I’ll even admit that was a long time ago. Was that his second or third year in the season or in the league? Um he was really bad with the Saints. He was really bad. He had like 15 touchdowns, five picks, but I I know it was more than just stats in a bad division. I thought he they were going to clean up in that division. I thought they were going to And he had Clint Kubak. Yeah. And remember how they started the season last year? They were on fire. Yeah. And then he went he went nine and eight with the Saints in 2023. 25 touchdowns, eight picks. It’s a long time ago. I think 2023. Yeah, this is a long time ago. So that’s such a [ __ ] thing to say. It’s two seasons ago. Stop. You’re trying to You’re trying to force feed Gardenner Mchu. He Gardner’s in the NFL. I’m trying like he at least ducked out and didn’t he avoid having to pay money. Do you really think this is like a viable thing that like based on on the market and what’s available? I will be floored beyond belief if if it comes across the ticker Cardinals and discussions of signing. Here here’s here’s my first hope that there’s better options. There won’t be. But I’m looking at I’m looking at this free agent market and I don’t see many that many better options outside of what you already have in house. You’ve got Colin Coward speculating that the Vikings could give up a second for M. Jones for San Francisco, right? This is how far ahead the teams are in your division. The Rams could be drafting ahead of you and win the Super Bowl. But aren’t you disqualified from the M. Jones? Right. That’s what I’m saying. Like but that but that’s great for a Mac. Jones. I I mean you you could have signed Aiden O’Connell. No. Never. Right. Right. You’re at like do you want to get this? I could be I put Ganon in a room with Austin for be like, “Do you want to get fired? You trying to get fired?” I I that’s why it’s nuts that they’ve made their bed with K1 because like at least with Kyler it’s like okay well he’s under contract and we here’s what I can tell everybody definitively 120%. Jonathan Ganon loves Kyler Murray. Jonathan Gan would roll with Kyler Murray in 2026. Lamar Washington JG going to get told he’s safe only to get fired the next day. Oh, like Josh Dobs. I apologize. So Josh Dobs in fact Lamar was talking about was that he was safe and then the next day he’s traded. I think Lamar they have too much respect for Ganon and I think they would tell Ganon that this isn’t going well. you need to start winning games and then I that’s when I think Ganon would feel a sense of urgency to fire people in season and the fact that that has not happened. I think that’s the clearest clearest example evidence of why Ganon’s returning is that his staff is his staff and then he’s going to be forced to make changes in January. So, I mean, look at every example of all Eber Flu’s firing Shane Walden, Steve Wils firing Mike McCoy. When guys know that they are screwed, they start be Pete Carol firing Chip Kelly, Pete Carroll could get fired at the end of the year. When guys know they’re safe, they’re not firing coordinators. They’re not. They’re going to keep them until they have to replace them. But the fact that Ganon doesn’t have the self-awareness to be like, “This guy stinks. I need somebody else.” Yeah. Shane with our last super chat of the evening. They ruined any leverage they had with K1. I I disagree. I think they I think if there if Kyler Murray is going to have a trademark it now, they would have had a trademark it before the season started. I think Listen, we go through these options, it’s like Kyler Murray looks pretty good. It’s the contract though. Do people want to inherit that? The contract was not going to change regardless of like what people think publicly or privately about Kyler. Yeah, what a show. We’ve got our uh give big tomorrow and there’s going to be tons of incentives for all of you in the audience to donate. like we’re going to have things that we’re it’s our day of giving and uh we’re gonna come together Johnny and I and Noah and coming together with incentives for you to give big tomorrow like scoops like uh tasks that the hosts and producers have to do if we reach certain checkpoints as far as our day of giving tomorrow. So, and of course you guys drop in the comments what you want to see on the board and make us do uh for a great cause because we will absolutely uh follow through with that. But that’s coming down tomorrow. We’re all in together now at PHX in all city. Can somebody gift us a win? No. Maybe I’ll confess my undying love for uh Derek Carr on tomorrow’s show if you guys get that’s wild that you brought that up. Why do you think it’s that wild? This could be a thing. He’s doing like a podcast. He’s he’s out of football. He’s one season out. Doug Peterson. No, but that’s a good guess. And that’s also somebody that like Ganon should have hire Ganon should have hired like Doug Peterson this off season. Jonathan Ganon should have fired Drew Petting in January and gave Clayton Adams a pay raise and gotten a senior offensive coordinator to come in and work. K Doug Peterson with Kyler would have been great. That’s exactly what Jonathan Ganon needed to do and he didn’t. And and then Drew Pson’s agent got, you know, they worked the phones and they got him an interview for the Bears job as a favor because he was never getting that job. And now it’s like, whoops, we have an incompetent offensive staff. We don’t know what we’re doing. The Buccaneers know our plays. Whoops. Whoops. Like, look at these staffs. So long ago. Yeah. Look at the staffs in the NFC. It’s like Kevin Oonnell, Brian Flores, Robert Salah, Kyle Shanahan, Clint Kubak, Mike McDonald, and it’s like Jonathan Ganon, and Drew Petting. It’s just like what? Come on, guys. If I’m Ganon, I’m calling in every favor imaginable this past off season to try to get the best st I’m I’m fighting for my life on this staff and instead it’s like tr It was very much like trust the process. Yeah. And they and it’s blown up in their face. You want to see it? Johnny chug a huge beer. I’m going to donate and make him chug a huge beer upside down. Look, put it in the comments and we’ll put it up for for an option. Why am I being punished? We’re here every day holding this team accountable. We did six hours live on air content yesterday, by the way. It’s great to watch. We don’t end this damn show. No, I want to keep going. Bo doesn’t need to see his family. Let’s keep going. We could do multiple hours of on air content about what’s going to happen with this team. Bo’s got to wear a jersey. I like that. We got plenty around here. I’ll wear I’ll wear multiple jerseys, but you got to give. What do you think’s going to happen with Drew’s presser tomorrow real quick? Good stuff. Um, probably lots of rage bait. Probably lots of rage inciting answers. Yeah, just cancel that. Hey, I was gonna ask him about Derek Carr. What do you think about Derek Carr? I can’t believe that. Uh, big thanks to everybody. Hit that like button. Subscribe to PHNX Sports. We thrive in chaos just like the Cardinals apparently. Uh, big thanks to Noah Man crushing it with the graphics. A long show today. Uh, put that fire and brimstone graphic up one more time. Let’s take a look at it. It’s taking it all glory. This is us. That’s the PHX crew and fan base and listenership. That’s us uh during the 2025 season just in a u in a vat of flames watching this team take hit after hit going three and nine losing five straight three straight nine to 10 losing the hapless Titans 0 and7 games decided by four or less points watching Kyler Murray get softbenched that’s us Derek Carr as of September 12th saying I’ll be ready for a possible NFL comeback. If you call this, if this ends up happening, I will give you all the flowers. Derek Carr could unretretire, play for another team than the Saints in 2026, according to Albert Brerier. Could be a hangup. The Saints negotiated the deal to move on where a team won’t go after the $10 million roster bonus if already paid out for 2025. Carl will walk away from that, but it’s tenable ending for this situation. And if some team decides for one reason or another wants to call the Saints to see if Carr will be available, we’ll see what happens. Is he talking about this season, right? And then and so do the Saints lose his rights then? I think after this year, yes. Wow. Staying This is one from a month ago. David Carr saying Derek Carr staying ready amid unretirement rumors. Oh, Jesus. Jesus. I’m not rooting for it. Then the options. I’m in. I’m back. I’m back in an old Derek Carr. Ripping it, baby. Ripping it to Marv. You know, Greg Dorch moves on. That number four jerseys right there. Oh my god. Bring us back to the Kevin Cobb days. and everybody’s and it’s going to be a disgusting talking point on sports talk radio saying he’s the next he’s Carson Palmer reborn. Let me look at so he was honest. He’s never had a terrible season. Five and five, 9 and 8, 6 and nine, 10 and seven, 8 and 8, 7 and N. He went 4 and 12 run year. Six and nine, 12 and three, seven and nine, three and 13. All right. So, we’re just gonna make it known the Cardinals are going to pursue Derek Carr this offseason. Got it. I wonder so hellbent to move off Kyler Murray. Maybe they already maybe the deal’s already done. Maybe a deal is already Derek Carr reporting for offseason workouts in in March. I can’t those uh those like off-campus workouts not going to have as much sizzle as they did with K1. Probably not. Derrick’s like, “Hey guys, want to go to California? I heard you did that with Tyler and they’re like, “We’re good. Derek, guys, my wife made snacks. Packed you guys some lunches. You ready to take this? You ready for that uh the playoffs or bust type season for JG?” So, they defin he’s definitely unretiring. So, you’re right. He’s definitely playing next year. He He escaped the Saints. So, it’s basically a ploy like Carson to escape that the team. Yeah. So, he’s escaped the Saints. Oh my god. Well, can’t wait. In the meantime, the Cardinals, which goes host the LA Rams this weekend in a blood bath. All right, now we’re going to log off. Hit that like button. We’re back on a football Tuesday. Drew Psoning’s comments. One of the last pressers, we assume, for offensive coordinator Drew Petting. We’ll see you then. Feeling like the mayor.

No. No.
Tbh cant belive todd lol he might be mad he didn't get the nod after B.A like he should of
Well you guys know that I've been calling for Drew Petzing to get fired since week 4 of last year. I like Jonathan Gannon, I think he's done a good job of building the culture, and these guys aren't giving up. They're fighting hard. Hard. But the offensive play calling has destroyed our team from the very beginning of this season by not being able to dominate bad teams.
I don't know if Kurt Warner has any interest in being an offensive coordinator, but that dude is a savant with offense. I think he is the key to our success. I can't think of another offensive coordinator available right now. Who could do what we need to be done with this team.
But the injuries we've sustained because Drew Petzing couldn't move the ball and I'm including defensive injuries are and abomination to the sport. Players got injured because they were on the field when they shouldn't have had to be.
And the one knock on MO is that he doesn't draft interior lineman early in the draft. This year. We need to protect Kyler Murray going forward, take the best offensive tackle in the first round, if we move up in the draft to the second or third pick, we can trade down and accumulate more picks. But there are two really good offensive tackles available in the first 20 players. My phone will mangle their names if I try to pronounce them.
And then we need to take the best two guards we can take with the next two highest picks. It isn't sexy, but solidifying this offensive line has to be a priority.
The cowboys won super bowls and emmitt Smith is the leading NFL rusher because their offensive line was extraordinary. They may not be sexy pics, but they are the most important picks behind quarterback.
Shannon sharp was on a panel on ESPN more than 20 years ago. Remember he played for Green Bay.
They were having a debate on who the best running back in the NFL was. Half of them were picking emmitt Smith, some of them were picking Barry Sanders. When it got to Shannon sharp, he said "it is hands down. Barry Sanders, if Barry Sanders played for Dallas he would average 2,000 yd a season."
The panel laughed at him.
He doubled down, he said "maybe even 3,000 yards a season. Teams will tell you that they only prefer for the next week. That was a lie with us. We had two guys on our staff that just tried to slow him down, two coaches for one player on one team dedicated to just slowing him down!"
The reason emmitt Smith is the all-time leading rusher is because that was the best offensive line in the history of the NFL. You could have driven a Peterbilt through some of the holes they created and I'm not joking.
Barry Sanders was the greatest football player I've ever watched. He made Thanksgiving great every year. One year that at he got over 1,500 yd, his left tackle was in Arizona as a free agent, lomas Brown, one of his offensive lineman was killed when somebody drove through his fence and killed him while he was mowing his lawn, and a third offensive lineman broke his neck in a game, Mike Utley. Utley. 60% of his offensive line was gone and he still got 1,500 yd. Can you imagine what he would have done if he didn't have to do it all himself and had a line that could have blocked for him? He just got tired of losing. And he retired early with his health. But he was the most extraordinary player I've ever watched play and you should watch some highlights if you haven't seen them.
FYI, the quotes are the best I can remember, between covid fog and the better part of three decades. I'm not sure I remember them exactly right anymore. I have a near eidetic memory or at least I did before covid, and that's the essence of the conversation. And I concur with his opinion on Barry Sanders.
We need to bolster this offensive line with the best players we can get and retain the best starters from this team as backups. Isaiah Adams should be a backup, Hernandez hopefully will be healthier next year and would be an extraordinary backup and insert him once in awhile to give a breather to the young player so they can sit down with the offensive line coach and go over each and every play while Hernandez is covering their spot. That way you accelerate the growth of the two guards. You could even do that once in awhile with beechham and the rookie right tackle. I'm assuming it will be Fano from Utah given our draft position and inability to win a game.
But the starting point has to be firing that moron, he does not know how to Target wide receivers. I think the only reason we've even had some success in the last couple of weeks is because Lex Loser has finally figured out that his job is on the line. He's taking Gannon down with him.
Remember San Francisco, we just needed a first down. First and 10 one yard run. Second and nine, one yard run. 3rd and 8:00, 4-yard run. Might have been five. I don't remember now. We punted San Francisco move the ball got a field goal the last second and beat us. One first down and he ran the ball three times right up the gut. I would have fired him last year but if I were in charge I would have fired him after that game. Hell, I would have just let Kyler Murray call his own plays at that point. I don't think they've prepared him to do that. And the coaching changes haven't helped with that. He's a video game player, he can make quick decisions, I'm a video game player, before covid I was one of the top players in the world at battlefield 4. Now with only one hand, I'm above average but I'm still really good at making quick decisions. Kyler Murray is as well. He just has not been coached up in this regard. I wish I was healthy enough to be the offensive coordinator, I'm not. But the key to a successful NFL coach is understanding your talent and how to apply them. Does anyone think that Drew petzing has applied the talent of Marvin Harrison, Junior, Kyler Murray, Wilson, McBride, or even the running backs? The answer is no.
The greatest example of this that I can provide is the Great and legendary. Don Shula. I remember hearing his story about him coming into the locker room and seeing one of his players with an earring back in the '70s. He laughed but didn't care. Because he understood you'd build your team around your players. You build your strategy around your players. They're the only ones that affect the game. When they're on the field. You have to put them in a position to win. This team has never done that with the exception of Bruce Arians. Think about it, Bruce is the winningest coach in Arizona Cardinals history and that's 127 years. He coached the team for 5 years and his quarterback was out for this season after tearing his ACL for one of those years dude. Now we did have the worst playoff performance in human history, but Ryan lindley. As our quarterback during that playoff game that Carson Palmer got us too, but he's the winningest coach in Arizona Cardinals history with 50 wins in 5 years. How is that not the standard for this team going forward?
Can we fire these fucking coaches Jesus man this is fucking stupid and insanity at the least stupidity at the most
2026 is not the year to draft a quarterback. This may well be the weakest quarterback class ever.
JG will not be retained. Appreciate him, but can't happen.
