A month ago I made a post asking if anyone thought Kuch could become the franchise points leader this season https://www.reddit.com/r/TampaBayLightning/s/fTxGywF0uQ
And i wanted to see how we are feeling now the he’s gotten hot again
He needs 112 pts in his next 57 games to get it that’s 1.96 points per game he has been on 1.8pts per game pace the last 12 games
He would need to finish the season with 145 points in 80 games played
Do you think he can hit it? Me personally I think 112 points in 57 games for him isn’t out of reach

What’s the rush though?
Also if Brandon Hagel stays healthy after the 26-27 season he should be top eight in franchise scoring after essentially only 5 seasons
Of course he can reach it, the question is will he
I doubt he’ll hit it this season but with Kuch you never know.
I really don’t see it happening. 2 points per game is just an insane pace to keep up the rest of the year. If he stays healthy he could absolutely get close but I don’t think he breaks it.
I imagine he’ll probably end up in the 120 point range for the season.
He’s not getting it this szn
He will likely get it early next season. Real question is do you think he will pass stammers goal record during his tenure with us?
I’ve said this pretty much everywhere who cares about those individual stats. All that matters for these players including Kuch, Point Hedman is a damn CUP. Anything else is of little value. They only play for one thing the CUP
Doable!
Stammer missed A LOT of games from significant injuries – makes one wonder what those figures would look like had he been healthy…
Other thought: Wish Bolts had held onto Richards…
Do post season points count, or is it just reg? If post season counts, then he may get there. If not, I think it will be sometime in Nov 2026.
If he hits that point total and he doesn’t win mvp then we know it’s rigged
111 points in 256 more games to go seems like one of the safest bets I’ve ever seen. Keep in mind Kuch has struggled at times this season, yet still has 32 points in 23gp.
I doubt that it happens. Not because he can’t do it offensively but because he’s actually more committed to playing better D this season.
It’s crazy to think if Stammer didn’t have the leg break he honestly might have almost have been up there with Ovi Sid and Kane. The leg break unfortunately just switched his entire playstyle.
