  1. 57 total exemptions including the one for hypertension, one for sleep disorder and one for hormone function.

  2. That appears to be just slightly less than 4% of MLB players, while in the general population close to 5% have a prescription for a stimulant.

    And that’s 5% of the whole population including people like newborns that don’t generally get prescribed Adderall. 

    I gotta say, I’m kind of impressed. I would have guessed a much larger percentage of players would at least keep an exemption and script handy in case they need a little pick me up.
