Seriously what does his dad tell to do? Maybe next rookie we draft we send him straight to Jordan Palmer or an equivalent.

  1. The “my dad is my coach” phenomenon is so weird to me, it just seems like unless your dad was a Hall of Famer (and even then, I dont think Deion did Shadeur a ton of favors as a coach), you really should have an objective QB coach, or at LEAST another set of eyes.

  2. Also this would explain his mechanics coming out of OU. Happy feet, cant play under center, throws off his backfoot like a european, cant step in the pocket, ignores 3 and 4th reads….

  3. This team is 3-9, with 2 of those 3 wins coming with Kyler, and you smooth brains still can’t comprehend the fact that Kyler is not the problem here.

  8. Since he hasn’t been the starter for this 1-6 stretch of football, maybe he should work with Brissett’s coach so he can learn how to become a career backup.

    Because apparently losing is an acceptable stat for a QB as long as they’re throwing 40 times a game for 300 yds and 2 TDs.

    At least fantasy owners are getting the stats they need to win their games and league.

  10. Honestly seems like this is just a job to Kyler, which I get, but if your a top paid QB football has to mean more to you. Its just too much of a fine tuned skill requirement to work otherwise.

  12. I worked a camp with Jordan Palmer once. These coaches rotate they don’t purely work with just one player. To say K1’s only working with his dad, Idk how true that is. I remember Jordan Palmer saying he’ll work with a guy for a few weeks or months then go to work with someone else. Palmer has also worked with Patrick Mahomes and talked about it a lot when I was at his camp, who you dont have listed as him working with here

  14. I do wish Kyler had enough ambition to get a reputable qb coach in the offseason to help him. Just look at Josh Allen, and look how that elevated him into an elite qb.

I would think as an athelete or just having pride in myself and my product I’m putting out there for anyone and everyone that both Kyler and his dad would see that, know and understand things need to be changed and it should have been done years ago. I’d be embarrassed. You’re also right. Because of this situation and what has transpired teams should and I’m sure they do but they should have something about who our qb who we’ve u invested millions in who his private coach is. Not his mom or dad or baby brother. The screwed up his career big time.

  17. His dad is also his hitting coach , fielding coach and if he feels like pitching he’s got a coach for that as well. His dads company name could be a # of thing Bad decisions or list goes on and on

  20. Insane to me that people think Kyler Murray actually gives a fuck about playing football. Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if he retires.
