Sean McDermott ran ahead of his team to dap up and congratulate every player before heading into the locker room. This isn’t unique, but the embraces with Alec Anderson and Ryan Van Demark were very emotional. Anderson basically picked him up and threw him in the air.

  1. Good to hear, but I still can’t shake how uninspired this team looked the first half. The team legitimately looked like they gave up on this staff.

  2. I think both RVD and Alec Anderson saw this as a major boost to their career and contract prospects. Backup tackles getting meaningful playing time and putting good stuff on tape in a gotta have it game is pure gold for these guys

  3. Who cares? Certainly isn’t gonna bring a Super Bowl to the city. How long has he been here? How many Super Bowls has he brought here? How many embarrassing losses have we had? the fuck out of here ,these stupid ass stories

  4. Have to give credit to Anderson and Van Der Mark providing elite blocking yesterday in backup roles. Minus Andersons false starts in the first quarter, you didn’t hear about them singled out (which is a good thing for the oline guys), and the running game took off

  5. Depth really matters the next 2 months. Yep- TWO MORE MONTHS of football and they started in August. I’m pleased our LB corp seemed to have more options- again depth and more situational options

  6. Kelvin Benjamin ran ahead of the team to eat the post game buffet before everyone could get there. This isn’t unique, but it explains why he’s a bucket of Popeyes away from being a tight end.

Kelvin basically picked up the hotel pan of nuggets and threw them in the air, gulping them down as they came back to earth like a Tom and Jerry cartoon.

  7. He isnt perfect (no coach is) but this type of thing gets lost on a lot of people. This doesn’t mean we are winning the next 10 Super Bowls but he has done a lot of work turning the team, franchise, community and culture around. Cooks just said you can’t turn down an opportunity to play here. Anyone else remember when the narrative was it was Siberia and no one wanted to come to Buffalo

  8. The fairweather and pollyannish nature of this fan base is stunning. People call to blow up the team in the first half and since they were able to salvage a win in second half against a decrepit Steelers team it’s back to Go bills. I’ve watched this team for 31 years and McD deserves no praise. His time is long past due

  9. I’ve given a McDermott a lot of crap over the last 2-3 years, but reading stuff like this makes me understand why he hasn’t been fired yet. I don’t think he’s lost the locker room yet, they all still believe in him

  10. It’s somewhat encouraging to know that it wasn’t just the O line sucking last week. The Texans D is really just that good.

  11. They have faced some adversity this year man. Injuries up the wazoo. That game last night was a big deal.

  12. I really hope we get most of our injured players back down the stretch. We’ll need them.

  13. They are acting like they won the Super Bowl by beating the Steelers. It’s kinda cringey

  14. I feel like this is the type of game plan McD dreams about. Solid defense, running the ball at will and dominating time of possession.

  15. Great rah rah stuff against a bum team. Not many others will allow the same 3 running plays to dictate the game. Sean and Joe will be under fire again soon

  16. Anderson is the guy who threw one of his buddies through a table after getting the call that we were signing him as a UDFA. This tracks.

  17. Don’t care, he’s still a shit coach and he’s hit the ceiling of his abilities already
