New Orleans Saints Vs Miami Dolphins Week 13 Recap!
Talk about an ugly win, but they won. What is up, Finn fans? The Miami Dolphins pull off the victory 21-7 against the New Orleans Saints. A lot to talk about about this game. Another backto back, well, not back toback because they had a bye, but another backto back victory where the Dolphins barely won against a bad team. Let’s break down some stats. Tyler Shuck, 26 for 38, 239 yards, two touchdowns, one interception. He also threw a pick two uh on the two-point conversion. Tyler Shuck, let me just say this to Saint fans. If any Saint fans are watching this, I think you have some promise in Tyler Shuck. Uh I think he’s a guy that you can definitely continue to build with. Uh again, what quarterbacks are going to be out in this year’s draft, we’ll never, you know, we’ll see how that all pans out. Uh, but I think I like the way from what I saw from Tyler Shuck, a lot of his, uh, play calling, a lot of his changes, a lot of the stuff that he was doing, uh, the throw, the touchdown to a lav, I think that was, uh, played very well. So, shout out to him. Uh, Devin Neil was their leading rusher, 14 carries, 47 yards. Uh, Vle Vle, uh, eight catches for 93 yards and a touchdown. Chris Olive, four catches, 47 yards. and a touchdown as well. Tyler Shuck had a fumble for a loss on a sack from I think it was Minka and then Seer picked it up. Four sacks on the day, two from Cameron Jordan, one from uh Byron Bree and one from Chase Young. Um and the interception was to Kool-Aid McKinstry. Fantastic name, Kool-Aid. Also, your kicker Charlie Smi never kicked before in a game and had a good day. Now to the Miami Dolphins to a tongue of Aaloa 12 for 23, 157, no touchdowns, one interception, 55.9 rating. He was bad. There’s no ifands or buts around that. Tu was bad. He was bad today. Looked off. His throws were off. His timing was off. He was bad. And I’ll get to that. Devon Han, 22 carries, 134 yards, and a touchdown. The man is now over a thousand rushing yards on the season. Uh Darren Waller, two catches, 47 yards. Jaylen Wadd, three catches for 40. Malik Washington, four for 30. Uh Tuang Aloa had a fumble that he got back. So it was a bad snap at his knee. He got it back. That’s what that means. We had four sacks on the day. One from Mika Fitzpatrick. Uh uh one and a half from Chub Robinson. Good for him. Bradley Chub had a sack and Zeke Beggars also had a sack. His first half sack of the year. Um we’ll go to team stats real quick. Um Dolphins more total yards but only by four yards. Uh they had more turnovers. They had more first downs. They had more penalties. We are were uh even on fourth down conversion rates. Also on fourth down uh third down conversion rates we were even. Fourth down conversion rates we were even. Red zone uh they were two for two. We were 0 for two. And possession we had the ball for like 8 seconds more. So again it was a pretty even matchup which is sad to say because both of these teams the Saints aren’t that good man. They’re just not that good. Um, but Miami Dolphins pull off the victory. And like I said, it shouldn’t have been this close. Like, let’s be honest, if you’re looking at a 4-7 team facing a 2 and N team, it should not have been this close, but it was this close. We marched down the field on the first drive, uh, run heavy, you know, Tua takes a sack, uh, which is what it is. the bad snap drops, you know, down it to his knees. He recovers, steps up, makes a beautiful pass to Malik Washington, eventually gets down in the end zone. Uh, not in the in the red zone, but then Devon Chan runs it in for the rest of the way. After that, it was just crap, crap, crap. Threeand out on defense, three and out on offense. Backto-back passes. Both of those were bad throws. Um, not running the ball, right? Then the defense forces a three and out. We come out 12 men in the huddle then Tua gets sacked three and out. It’s like what are we doing? What are we doing here? Like how many time we didn’t even run the ball really? Yeah. No run. Garbage. Hot trash. Then Zeke Baggers with the sack. We force another three and out. So it’s like all right cool. Then we come out. We have an eightplay 68-yard drive and Darren Waller was butt naked open and Tua for some reason again I’ll break down the film to really kind of look at um if there’s any defenders he like rainbows the pass to a wide openen Waller who you know makes the catch for 34 yards but it was just not it wasn’t good like the the pass was just bad and I feel like if it was little like obviously not a line drive throw but had not so much air under I think Waller gets more and actually has a big run. Uh shout out to Cedric Wilson on the play before that where you know it was a screen play. Not a screen I think it was like a two- yard pass give or take. He breaks two tackles has gained 16 on that one. Fantastic. But we march down the field um and end up with a field goal which again we get into on their 24 yd line. Right? So you know 16 yard pass a 34 yard pass 9 yard run sixyd run. Right? So now we’re on their 24 yardd line. A three yard run. All right we’re on their 21. It’s second and seven. Hey guess what? Run the ball. Nope. We pass the ball and then we throw the ball again. Back-to-back passes, back-to-back incompletions. We kick a field goal. We’re only up by 10. Then the defense comes out, forces a uh fumble. What do we do the very next play? Two of throws. The dumbest interception to Jaylen Wadd. Another rainbow of a throw. Has the safety over the top helping. Maybe, and again, we’ll break down the film on Tuesday, but maybe if it wasn’t such a rainbow throw, uh, it actually is a catch because maybe the throw is so high up and arcing that the safety had enough time to come over. Maybe, again, I’m saying maybe that’s what he saw. But it was a horrible throw and a dumb interception. Again, they give us the ball, we give the ball right back to him. Thankfully, our defense is playing well. We force a three and out. Then we come out and we end up, you know, doing something. Run heavy. Nine yard run, five yard run, five yard run, two yard run, 16 yard run, four yard run. You know, they are working. Run, run, run, run, run. But unfortunately, a one-yd loss on a run. Then we throw the ball. Have to end up with a a field goal because to a not a great pass to Devonte Chan, which should have been a touchdown on third and goal on New Orleans seven. Kind of threw it a little bit behind him. Again, we’ll break down the film on that. Tul is just off today. His throws were just not good. Um, and then we had an interception. Ris Douglas, beautiful interception. Was that it? Yeah, Rul Douglas just on Miami’s 24. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Um, and then before the half, you know, we’re starting on their 42 and it’s like as soon as a run happens that doesn’t work out cuz the first play is a nine yard run. Uh, so then it is second and one and then it’s a negative two yard run. All of a sudden it’s like stop running the ball. So then we get a six-star pass and then an incompletion and then they they just let the clock run. No, sorry. They don’t let the clock run. Let the clock run. Yeah. Sorry. Six-yard pass gets it to their 35 and instead of getting up and spiking the ball and at least trying for something down the field or trying for something, they just let the clock tick down to three. They eat up 26 seconds and then spike the ball and kicked the field goal. They got booed at the stadium. And you know, Sherf uh Brandon Sherf, no, not Brandon Sheriff. Mark Schlareth who was one of the announcers said his thoughts were maybe it was McDaniel uh was not comfortable with two of throwing it because he was so off. So he was like, “Look, let’s just go into the halftime up 16 nothing.” I think they should have done more, but you know, and then the Saints come out and they just marched right down the field. They did whatever they wanted to. Marched down the field, scored a touchdown, got the two-point conversion. We come out, we punt. So, we punt, they punt, we punt, they punt. It’s like boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Hit the fourth quarter, end up with a field goal, which again, this is what pissed me off. This is where I really got mad. Uh was this field goal because we got the ball first and 10 on the 11 yardd line, right? Cuz the second and one we get a one-yd run from Devon Achan who breaks 1,000 yards. First and 10 on the 11 yardd line. First play is a pass. Tua throws it to Waller. He puts too much air under it. Waller is out of bounds again. Tua is bad today. There’s no nothing about it. The second down, he throws the ball again, but Tua got pressure on him, so he throws it at the feet of the of the receiver. Third down, to get sacked by Chase Young. Why are you throwing the ball on first and 10 on their 11 yardd line? You could still get a first down without getting a touchdown. Your running back has six yards a carry and you throw the ball three straight times to end up kicking a field goal. It was like, and this is what I’m talking about. It’s his fourth year and this man still consistently calls dumb offensive plays and he consistently will abandon the run when you don’t need to. And you can say, “Hey Doug, you know, if Tua makes that throw, this is a moot point.” Yes, but Tua hasn’t made that throw all game. Tua has looked bad all game. And if you’re Mike McDaniel, the Mc Genius, as someone like call it, it’s like a sandwich from McDonald’s. You should see, hey, my quarterback is struggling with throws. Let me not try to make him make a play and let me put it in the hands of the guy who’s making the plays all day and Devon Han. No, his thought process is they’re expecting the run, so we’re going to throw it three times, Jerry. Dumb. Just dumb. So then they end up with a field goal. So then it’s a little scary because now we’re only down by eight. We go for it on fourth down. We got And now I appreciate this, right? It’s fourth and one on their 43. I don’t hate the call. I don’t even hate the play, right? Because it’s smart. They brought out Brunskill. They brought out Julian Hill. They brought out Alec Ingold and your running back is O Ali Gordon. Just massive men, right? You got your six offensive lineman. You got your best blocking tight end and Julian Hill. You got Alec Ingold in there who’s a great blocker. And you got Ali Gordon, the physical running back. Don’t hate it. It’s just it wasn’t executed. So, I’m not even mad at that. But then unfortunately they marched down the field and that pass that 15 yard touchdown pass from Tyler Shuck to Valle Vle ridiculous. Now, they didn’t get the two-point conversion because Mika Fitzpatrick, you know, intercepted and ran it back. And then then this onside kick malary where they say it touched Cameron Good’s calf, I call BS. They reviewed it and because he caught uh VLE caught the ball before the 10 yard mark and they’re out here saying, “Oh, it touched Cameron Good’s calf.” I beg to differ. That ball did not change its trajectory, but that’s what they said. March down the field. Uh they go for it on fourth and one. Dumb call. Saints fans, I’m sorry, Kellen Moore. It’s fourth and one. How much? You got one timeout. Um, and it’s 35 seconds left. You got one timeout and you QB sneak it. You need a touchdown. You’re up. We’re We’re up at that point. We’re up by four. You needed a touchdown. So, say you do get the first down. And in a QB sneak situation, they’re just going to lay on them. You got to pile them in. They’re just going to and they’re going to take their sweet time getting up, which is going to eat up clock. So, you have to call a timeout, right? As soon as they say it’s a first down, boop boop boop, you got to call a timeout. So now it’s probably about 30 seconds. No timeouts. You’re on the Dolphins 35. You got to It made no sense to me. It was a dumb call. And that’s why the Saints are where they are. It was just a dumb call. Uh but the Dolphins won again. They snuck away with a victory against a bad team backto back weeks. Not again back-to-back games, I should say, not weeks where we ek out a win against Washington because their kicker missed the field goal and we eco out a win against the Saints team that’s not good and probably going to be picking top three. This team is just again the Hey, we’re five and seven. We’re going to go face the Jets who Let me check if they won. Um I think the Jets won while I’m finish recording this. The Jets did in fact win. Good for the Jets. We’re about to face the Jets in my neck of the woods. It’s cold. It’s going to be like 30 degrees and you’re ekking out these bad victories. At the end of the day, if you’re the owner, Steven Ross, and you’re looking at these victories, right? You got the the the uh first Jets victory, you know, it was a victory, but we eaked one out. Then you have the Falcons victory. Beautiful. Destroyed them. Bill’s victory. Beautiful. destroyed him. Three out of your five victories have been like against bad teams. I don’t know, man. Again, a lot of mistakes that are happening here like the 12 men in the huddle, like the, you know, all these bad calling of timeouts and bad challenges and this and that. Um, it just doesn’t make sense to me why, you know, after four years you’re still making these mistakes. So, we’ll see. We’ll see how this all pans out. Um I don’t think there really is much of a difference in the draft order. Now we’re 12th. We’re picking 12th. I’ll show you real quick. We are picking 12th. So we were 10. Now we’re down to 12 because we won. We’re five games. Jets won. Drop them down to six. Your top five is different now. Quarterback needy teams. Your two right here. Uh your three right here. One, two, three. Um, Texans won, which puts them down here. And yeah, so that’s your draft order right now. I’ll talk more about this tomorrow and all that stuff. But comment below. We got a victory. And I said this in the live stream. Don’t worry about the draft picks. It’s not about where you pick, it’s about who you pick. I said that in the live stream. You know, we’ve seen teams pick in the top five that have missed on the draft picks because they didn’t pick the right guy. And if you could go back in time, I’m pretty sure, you know, they would take Josh Allen in the top five. They would take Patrick Mahomes in the top five. So, it’s about talent assessment, and that’s where the Dolphins need to make the right decisions in hiring in the front office. So, comment below. Let me know what you guys think. I’ll see you tomorrow. Enjoy the victory like usual. Stay classy and f

He should have punted the ball and make them go the length of the field. That was a terrible decision. He is a stubborn stupid bumbling idiot of a coach. He refuses to incorporate Ollie Gordon and Jaylen Wright into the game. Tua is brain dead. He can never understands down and distance and the game situation.
Told ya Shough was better than Tua. Fins are just ruining their draft position with meaningless wins.
I think that game had Vegas written all over it look at spread
Not making an excuse for him. But Tua's dad had quadruple bypass surgery before the season and he hasn't been on Tua like he always has. They aren't letting him watch the games and talk football with his son and he's always been a huge part of Tua's football career he's on him when he's not doing what he should be doing.
Bring in any coach I don’t care. Get me, Sam Darnold, Shedeur Sanders, Dak Prescott, Gardner Minshew, Joe Flacco or any other clown to replace our clown. I don’t care blow this up and now
It’s easy to play couch qb and couch head coach. I’ll say this Devon achane is your best asset. It’s not madden you just can’t keep running him at a high clip and risk injury. Tua is an extension of the Offense. Not the whole offense but an extension I think that the line needs to do better and the receivers need to pay more attention and be ready to play. Meaning if Tua throws a duck chase that duck down. There are no guaranteed wins in the NFL. Any team can beat you at any time. Blaming McDaniel for bad snaps wrong route running or lack of effort is not the coach’s fault but a lack of professionalism of the team’s assets. Football is like boxing styles make fights. Just because you have a bad record doesn’t mean you can’t beat a good team. The dolphins had no business beating the bills and guess what happened?? Tua needs to see a sports psychologist. That’s all
Good Morning Phinz Up
Im so tired of Tua and i was a huge supporter. He sucks so bad its not even funny
Dolfan Denny says: Why can't McDaniel just admit we need an O.C. who actually knows how to call plays‼️🇺🇲🏈🐬🙌🍊🎳
I don't hate bad wins. The parity in the NFL is off the charts this season. Look at the Panthers beating the Rams. Any given Sunday this year more than ever before
🐬⬆️
Tua is even worse than I thought
kneeling at the end of the half with 1 minute to go at NO's 30 was pathetic, no confidence in the QB and for good reason
Can we stop crying about the play calls. I'm sick of hearing why don't we run it here, why do we pass it here. This is the NFL, sorry to break it to you but you have to call forward passes. Running the ball every play will not produce 6 yards per carry. Be happy we have Achane, but if you are frustrated with the coaching, maybe blame the 50 million dollar qb who can't be counted on to complete a pass 5 yards down field
Tua had a bad day and cost the team more points. Waller in the endzone and that poor screen pass left points.
A win is a win we led the game 16-0 we just need to learn how to keep the lead with bad teams but Tyler Shough is going to be really good he been playing good since they made him the starter
I'm not as mad at the awful officiating on the onside kick, as I am that our team did not actively go for the ball prior to it getting 10 yards down the field. They acted like they were afraid of it. Get the damned ball! Does the team not know they can touch it and grab it? I guess not, because they acted like they were scared of it. Again….POOR coaching.
With the regression of tua , when do we consider Quin
Tua is to the Dolphins, what Derek Carr was to the Raiders.
You’re complaining how a 4-7 team won a game. They controlled the game bell to bell. Tua couldn’t get in groove but they dictated the game. You run to throw, sometimes the throws don’t work out, no team is perfect and you’re complaining play by play and choice by choice about plays that didn’t work out? I’ll take a win like this every week. The team is starting to play well, we need a better roster to be dominant chill man.
Sadly, Tua is bad and getting worse.
You know Tua sucks, when Doug is complementing the rival QB 🤣🤣🤣
When is someone going to diagnose McDaniel with Asperger’s Syndrome? He clearly has all of the characteristics. He's hyper focusing on the pieces but still can't solve the puzzle.
Tua's downfall is easy to explain. For really the 2nd year he's now asked to read the defense since they're taking away his 1st read and clogging the middle. He sucks at reading defenses and he can barely throw outside the numbers so these are the reasons he sucks. It isn't his hip, it isn't fear of concussions, it's he's a one read limited weak armed QB who isn't intelligent.
“What are we doing?” “For some reason”…. The answers are simple, Tua isn’t the guy! He peaked 2 years ago, and even then, folded in the big moments. He isn’t a dynamic QB. He has a weak arm, very limited mobility, and undersized. His one attribute, “elite accuracy”, is no where to be seen. And he wasn’t just “off today”. It’s the same thing every week. Just acknowledge Tua is a major factor in this team’s consistent shortcomings. We need a new QB yesterday.
I was on the field, it was pouring rain, Tua struggled, Devon was amazing, following his blocks, the defense was amazing, lucky win for sure, shout out to Anthony Weaver for making a stand, Saints defense/pass rush was good, they were getting through our o line, Tua lost his scramble, thank minkah and our kicker, Chubb sack was sick
