The Las Vegas Raiders Season is Officially OVER… | Raiders Recap
Yo, what is up Raider nation? It’s your boy some more Raider back with another Raiders recap. And of course, the Raiders are coming off of their 10th loss of the season against the LA Chargers. We’re actually in LA today shooting this episode because, you know, I was at the game, of course, but we we got a lot of things to talk about. I mean, the Raiders are bad. We know that we suck at this point, but Pete Carol being on the hot seat, Gino Smith, will he be the quarterback moving forward? What do the Raiders need to do to at least turn the ship around? There’s a lot of questions after this game for sure and we’re gonna talk about a lot of those things in today’s video. But of course, I got my honorary with me, Mr. Joe Moley. That’s right. And I was at the game yesterday, too. Were you? In LA, Sofi Stadium. Our home away from home. I mean, I we we continue to do this every single year. I mean, we say it about all the games in Las Vegas, but uh I think I’ve been to every SoFi Raider game. Yeah. And uh still still haven’t seen a win. Daryls. Well, not Yeah. Every SoFi Raider game, which is including Raiders and including Chargers and Rams. Yeah. And we came close one year against the Rams and that’s about it. Uh the Raiders haven’t won in Sofi Stadium. Uh except for the preseason game and the the year that they had uh no fans. Yeah. No fan. Yeah. Yeah. That’s the only two times the co year. The co year. The two games that don’t really count. Yeah. So other than that, like every time we walk away and disappointed and I mean the one good thing about Sofi Stadium and the Raider games at Sofi Stadium is the tailgate. Amazing. Oh, always is like crazy. Like if you I guess if you want to ever consider like like people always bring up the old Oakland tailgates. Yeah. This right here like this the Vegas tailgates have nothing compared on what goes on in Los Angeles tailgates. You don’t think so? No. No. And and the and the way they did this year with construction was actually a little weirder and and and kind of better because it was like they put everybody together. Usually it’s like the Raiders are across the street and and in their tailgate area and then the Chargers have their Thunder Alley or whatever they Electric Avenue like like sorry it’s it’s funny but they have Electric Avenue. But this year it was like they put them all together and it was kind of cool. It was kind of like Raiders Chargers. Raiders Chargers and like everybody was interacting. Everybody was having fun before the game and it I think we mentioned Did I talk to you about this during the game that it didn’t feel like a typical Raider SoFi uh game? Well, why why do you think so? Because of like the the fans or not being that many Raider fans out there or something or No, no. Tons of Raider fans. No, no, I know. I know. Uh and I think just talking to people in the tailgate, what were they saying? Hey, uh, are we going to win today? Like, no, we’re just here, but we showed up. Yeah. And it seems like all Raider fans went into SoFi Stadium with no expectations of winning. Yeah. And just to watch the game and we The crowd wasn’t as loud as it has been. It was more like a we’re here, we showed up for you. Yeah. What are you going to do for us? I mean, I I will say the fans did they did get loud when you know, something good did happen, but it wasn’t like throughout the whole game. and we’re all just being obnoxious, yelling raers throughout the whole time, you know, cuz there was points where a lot of us were just probably tired and was like, “Okay, show us something on the field and then maybe we’ll cheer.” And there was moments where it got loud in there for for the Raider Nation, but to your point with the tailgating and stuff like that, that’s the best part of coming to LA. And I know I I was being a little bit sarcastic when I was asking a question like why do we still do this? Uh especially in LA, we know that the pregame festivities are second to none. And this year, like you said, I was kind of confused. I told you that because Pink Claw is usually like two different lots. And I was walking I was on my phone walking like going the direction that I would go to. And I was like I looked up and it was construction. I was like, “Wait, are the Raider fans in this one too?” Cuz I was like hella confused. And then I I think I I ran into Kaku and Baker and there was like Yeah. Yeah. They’re all over here. I was like, “Oh, damn.” I mean, it made it look even more crowded though, too. It It was still It was still a vibe though for sure. Like pregame a lot of Raider fans there. And you know what? There was a lot of people saying, you know, there wasn’t a lot of Raider fans in the stadium. And I don’t think the usual like blackout, I don’t think it was blacked out like it was. There was more Charger fans in this game, but it was still like a 6040. I would say 60 40 Raiders, maybe 70, 30, but it was a good amount. It was more Charger fans than usual because I met actual Raider fans that just showed up to tailgate. It was they went to go tailgate and I was like, “Oh man, you going to be at the game?” Like, “No, no, I just I just came to tailgate. I’m going to go watch it somewhere else.” like and that’s that’s probably the smart thing to do. I’m going to be honest with you. That’s if if I didn’t have to go and do content, just be in the game. I’ll probably do that, too. But I I mean, the vibe was definitely was definitely dope, boo. I I I loved it. Heck, Joe Moley, famous guy over here. I mean, we couldn’t walk nowhere like I’m supposed to shoot content like, you know, I’m supposed to shoot content, interview fans and stuff like that. It’s kind of hard to do it, you know, when my videographer doesn’t show up. But, you know, I’m over here trying to do it from my own phone. me and uh Joe and I couldn’t even get one person. I was trying to get NFL mic and it took probably like almost 20 20 minutes just to get one question from Mike and because every time we try to do something somebody comes up says what’s up and then that just starts a whole chain reaction because once they see it then there’s people waiting and you know I love it. I love it. I love it. Yeah. And that’s what I was going to say. And you know, sometimes I’m like, you know what? Like I I got to put the content down for a bit and just interact with the fans and just give them give them some time because like like we stated before, we we I made a real about it, you know, about the fans and how much support that they show and you know, you know, that those little couple of minutes that you have to put aside for them, man, it it goes a far way. And especially when you’re hearing, you know, a lot of these fans saying, you know, man, I love your content. I watch it. I watch your guys show. You know, me and Joe just started this like whole Raiders recap show this season and people tune in to see what we’re saying and even people give us things to talk about like, “Hey, if you talk about this, man, bring this up.” Like, “Hey, this is a good maybe it’s something you guys could talk about.” Like, yeah, maybe, maybe. And and that’s what I like is the fan interaction. And LA second to none. Always the same thing. Especially for me, like it’s crazy. My my biggest fan base, I think, is in LA because more Raider fans do show up there and it’s a one one one time a year thing. So, getting to interact with the fans, it it I I do that over anything else. So, and it wasn’t even just at the the tailgate, it was on our way to SoFi, it was walking around SoFi. Heck, even after the game, you know, Brandon Desawn, of course, Sean Marman, he had to he had to insult PTA. had to add insult to the wound. But it’s it’s it’s all good. It’s all good. And that’s that’s why we like LA. Love LA. But even for Joe, man, like I know Joe Joe’s definitely been doing his thing for the past couple of years, but Oh, it’s you you was I mean, you can’t miss Joe at the tailgate. So, when you see Joe, people like, “Oh, shoot.” Yeah. And then they go to Joe and then they they start It’s funny cuz they they notice him first and I’m just there like on my phone and they’re like, “Oh, shoot. Someone you’re there.” just like well they’ll notice me and they’ll be like hey where’s uh where’s Simone Raider and I’m like he’s right here like he’s hiding he’s right behind me and then they’ll notice me it’s like where’s Fitz he’s not here and I’m like well he can do the fits like I’m like he can do fits he he fits in yeah you know what it is writers [ __ ] so it’s like no like every and this is the I was talking to my wife on the way home I was just like it’s crazy the demographic that we hit because it’s not just older uh fans. It’s not middle-aged fans. It’s not teen. It’s every age. There’s little little kids. I see that yesterday. I don’t know if you remember this, but there was like a kid. He must have been like seven or eight. He was talking to his dad or his dad came up and he took pictures with us. Yeah. And his he he his dad said, “Oh, my son made me watch videos of you guys all day yesterday.” And his one goal today was to meet you guys. Like and that and we talked about this a couple weeks ago like why do we keep going to the games and this is why because people go to not only watch the Raiders and if you if the Raiders win it’s a plus. Yeah. 100%. But the atmosphere at an NFL game, if you’ve never seen an NFL game live in person, it’s amazing, right? To see how big these athletes are, what they do, how fast they are on the field, it’s something different. But then when you actually go and see people like us uh that are out here rooting for the team and you know we’re just at the end of the day we’re normal fans having a great time and we want to experience it and this is going to the tailgate is something else and being able to talk to people and like you said getting their opinions and and they’re asking us and they what do we do this for? We do this to talk Raider football. We do this to be able to vent about the frustrations that we go through. And what validates what we’re what I think what we’re doing. Yeah. Is when a fan comes up to us or or you know I say fan but another person comes up to us and they tell us hey I I whatever you said you you guys are saying exactly what I’m thinking. And what did that I think there was another guy that told us he goes I watch your podcast and I talk along with you guys. And I’m like yep that’s what I’m talking about Simone. like and he and like that right there like that validates it because when you do online content you get so much hate. Uh oh yeah. Oh for sure. And those people that put the hate is never there. And uh you you run into the true fans, the true Raider fans, the true people that have the same passion as you that are doing the same thing. And and at the end of the day, we all want the same thing. We want to win. Yeah. We want to we want to win. And when we don’t, that’s when we start bringing stuff up and we talk about it. You know, we have different opinion. Everybody has different opinions. That that’s something that that we learned early on is like when things don’t go right, it’s like, “Oh, see, I told you so. We should have done this. We shouldn’t have done that. You’re wrong about this.” And I admit I’m wrong about a lot of things, but I always go into the season with some hope and thinking like, “Okay, I think this guy’s going to change it for us.” You know, that that’s where my delusion comes from. But, you know, to add to that point, yeah, it makes it so much it makes it even worth it makes it even that much more worth it to do the content because you run into those people and we ran into a lot of people yesterday and like you said, man, first time people coming out for the first game LA some people like, “Damn, I was thinking about running into you.” And then out of nowhere, I can’t believe you’re right here. And then we see a lot of people like even just look and I I even try try to turn to him and say, “Oh, what’s up?” was like, “Oh, shoot, man.” You know, cuz I know that they don’t want to like disturb us sometimes, but then I’m like, “Okay, you know, I don’t want them to feel awkward. If you if you guys see us or see me at least, like, come on by, say what’s up.” Of course, I’m going to put some time aside, take a picture, even chitchat with you guys sometimes. Now, there there has been a time or two where I see somebody look and I’m like, “What’s up?” It’s like, they didn’t even know who I was. I was like, “Okay, I thought they knew me.” Who are who are you? Who? I thought you were Fitz, man. No, but but yeah, and shout out to a lot of a lot of the people. See, now I don’t usually be on my phone that much. Of course, I’m on my phone when I’m doing content, but like I don’t check my messages and DMs during the the whole day. And shout out to a lot of people out there that was in my DMs. I I look at it at the end of the day when I start to cool down and wind down. And then I I seen a lot of people in the DMs, the hidden messages like saying, “Oh, where you at, man? I want to see you. Can I really take a picture with you at what section?” And I feel so bad because there was a lot of people in my DMs yesterday and they just wanted to see where we were at just say what’s up, take a picture. So I’ll try to do a better job of that or letting people know where I’m going to be. I know I say I’m going to be at Pink Lab, but then you got to go look where’s Waldo, you know? Yeah. And especially once the game starts, it’s like really we’re trying to do content and do it. And I I like I said like if you ever see me or him like hey sometimes you got to get our attention because sometimes we are are are like Yeah. focused on doing something and just be like, “Hey, Joe. Hey, Simone.” And and we’re right there. Like I I have no problem like that. That’s the We’ve always talked about that. The Raider Nation is the Raider fans is what makes this fan base great. What makes rooting for the Raiders great. And it it I mean, you go to the grocery store and you see another Raider fan and you’re wearing Raider fan, they’re going to they’re going to say something to you like, “Yeah, Raider fans are going to look at each other and be like, “Raiders.” It’s like or or they’ll be like, “Damn, man.” And then like like yeah, we both we suck, guys. But hey, let’s go Raiders. Maybe next year. Like maybe next year. We’ve been saying that for the past I don’t know how many years. Raider Nation, today’s video is sponsored by Mint Mobile. Outside of that, let’s get into the game. Let’s talk about the team. you know, the the more depressing thing to talk about today. But the Raiders got that BTA 31-4. Uh lost to the Chargers at Sofi Stadium isn’t anything new, but something we all kind of expected. I I was hoping that it would it would change this year. Even though I know that the Raiders are not really fighting for anything anymore, but the Raiders lose, I just wanted to have something to brag about, but it’s come to a point where there’s fans that just feel bad for us at this point. And that that means you’re lower than low up. But Raiders are officially eliminated from the playoffs. Damn, man. We can’t we we can’t go on that run. We can’t win 10 games. But you know what? We we lost 10 games. Yeah. I know Pete promised 10 wins, but I mean like like we talked about last week, maybe he just had it flipped. Maybe he had it flipped. Yes, that that’s what happens to everybody when they come and put on that word to you last week. I forget what it was. What? Dyslexia. Oh, dyslexia. Come on now. Now, but yeah, I mean, I felt like the playoff uh the playoff host was I I think we were eliminated in week six, but I think it’s official now, you know. Yeah, it’s it you can always know when your team isn’t going to isn’t going to make the playoffs, but it’s never official till it’s official because you’ve seen it where we go on runs and something happens or a team goes on runs and and I mean, we could always hope for like the Baltimore Ravens. They started one and five this year. they’re leading their division at six and six like who were like you. So you never know what happens in the NFL. So but once they mathematically eliminate you you’re like and they did it before December again like you’re just like oh man like and then you look and you go okay what’s our draft status? And then but what what is what’s the talk after that? Like we’re we always this is the cycle it’s like the cycle of the Raider fans right? It’s like we’re hyped up for the season. We have a new coach that’s telling us this is what it is. We buy in. We go to the preseason. We win a couple preseason games. We’re like, “Here we go.” We go, we win like one week one or week two and then we’re okay, here we go. And then we start going downhill. Then they go eliminated from playoffs and then we go, “What’s our draft status?” Yeah. And then we go, “All right, hopefully we don’t mess this pick up. Hopefully we don’t mess the pickup.” And then we go, “Oh, we messed the pickup.” And then Yeah. But we we go all over again. It’s just it’s just a recurring cycle. It’s the same old cycles and but but that’s why you can’t blame like like Raider fans for one in the tank at some point because it’s like okay cuz you look at the past couple of years there’s games that we won that didn’t really mean much but you know it was good for the fans right but if it messed up our draft position and we were out of contention to get a a quarterback right I know you’re you’re on the opposite side of that that that spectrum right you don’t you don’t ever want the Raiders to to tank right they go and win but you know I’m on the other side was If we have nothing to fight for, we might as well tank. The only games that I want to win is always the games that we have bragging rights against like against the fan bases that we like the Chie the the the Chiefs Broncos. I really don’t care. But the Chargers because we deal with them so much, especially at Sofi, like I I would love to win in LA. And then I know the Dallas CG game is another one that we just want to win for bragging rights. But outside of that, now that the last couple of games we got left, it really we’re just there for support. I mean, well, my thing is if you like if you are expecting this coach to if you’re expecting Pete Carol to be back, if you’re expecting like last year, Antonio Pierce to come back, then you want to win these games. Like these are meaningful games. They’re not just because you’re eliminated from the playoffs doesn’t mean that you’re not fighting for it to see what you have for next year. And I think that’s what’s pissing me off more with this regime, with the Pete Carol regime, is we’re not we know we’re eliminated now. We know we’re officially eliminated. M now is Pete Carol working towards next year to see okay which one of these guy who we want back who’s fighting and to make this roster for next year as well and that’s what we want to see right we if Pete Carol is coming back next year then we don’t want them to quit on the team we don’t want this team just to shut down and be like okay we’re going for draft status we want to see them fight for we have a little bit of of of anticipation and be able to root for something next year and be like okay this is what they did good at the end of last season, can they build off of that? Yeah. But if Pete Carol is not coming back, then yeah, then then lose out then then none of this matters. You know what I mean? If you’re going to restart back over, then absolutely none of this matters the rest of the year. Yeah. Uh and speaking of Pete Carol though, I know the Raiders right now, we were sitting at number four. We’re top five pick. I mean, that’s something positive to take out of uh yesterday’s loss. But as far as Pete Carroll, there was a lot of talks he’s on the hot seat, right? And after a loss like this and seeing how the team has been all season long, they’ve been dysfunctional from the the coaching hires to our offensive line to our quarterback to through a lot of different things, right? There’s a lot of people that believe that Pete Carol is a oneanddone coach. Do you believe that? Uh I I was I’m going to tell you this. I was I really I wanted Pete Carol higher when I was like if you’re going to fire Antonio Pierce you need to bring in somebody with the pedigree of Pete Carol you know it was Mike Vrael Pete Carol those are the guys I wanted. Uh and so I I’m very upset that it didn’t work out because of the way he w he carried himself and the way you saw him on other teams. And so but I’m looking at this team and this has to be one of the worst teams we’ve ever seen. That’s crazy. And this is one of the worst teams performances. we’re getting blown out every game and there’s nothing to and it’s like Pete’s stubborn to make the decision ch the changes that he needs to make and all the way up until this week they were blaming everybody else and then like the press conferences last night were kind of different and uh they were actually you know taking more responsibility and it’s just I’m looking at Pete and I’m like he’s 74 years old we were supposed to be in a modified rebuild that to get us back into it before because Pete has what a three-year deal or two-year deal with the 30-year option, whatever it is. But he was supposed to get us right back into that into that competition competing, right? Yeah. Area, and it’s not it’s not there, and I don’t see it. So, yeah, I do think I do think if the Raiders are serious about drafting a quarterback uh with the top pick and and going that way, I think I think Pete’s one and done. Yeah. And it’s hard to say. It’s hard to to say it though, man, because like you said, I was on boat with with PK. I know a lot of people had their their doubts because of his age because I I didn’t think age really played a factor and to any of this. It’s just what he can do for the team and bring that energy. We’ve seen it all offseason long. You know, Pete Carol was bringing that energy. It looked like age was was just a number for him. And a lot of a lot of players love, you know, him as a as as a coach and just that that camaraderie. It it almost seemed like he had the same energy that AP had coming over here, but he was just older and just had a lot more experience than than AP. And that’s why a lot of fans would be excited about it. Some fans didn’t, but that was like a minority. So, I I will say nobody really expected this team to be this bad. And a lot of people talk about this is probably the worst Raiders team that we’ve seen in quite a while. Oh, yeah. And I believe that because watching this team this year, it’s like it makes you look at the McDaniel year and even AP’s year and be like, “Okay, that wasn’t so bad.” But then I don’t know, like like you said, multiple times getting blown out. Uh two times where teams are just kneeling at the two-minute warning and the game’s already over. We got shut out in a in a game, too. and offense looks trash like and you this goes that and you look this is what happens when you start losing a lot is you start dissecting all the things that happened before and like oh shoot if we didn’t get a running back in the first round then we should have got this or we should have never gave Chip Kelly that that money oh he’s sabotaging the team the offense looks bad and it’s kind of it’s kind of hard not to see a lot of those things and when you when you see how bad the team has looked especially offensively and Pete Carol I was excited for him coming over here And no m and I said like I feel like a win for this year was just to get into the playoffs. Oh yeah, that’s it. Even though I expected the Raiders to win at least seven games, at most nine, they they could do a little bit better, but I I feel like we could have sneaked into the playoffs uh if anything and at least look competitive. That was my main thing was you come in even if we lose games, even if we don’t make the playoffs, as long as we look competitive because we’ve been preaching compete, compete, compete, that’s all that matters. There’s a big old sign when you’re driving into Vegas that says what? Time to compete. I laugh at it every single time I’m driving up the the 15 coming back from Cali and I see the the big Pete Carol sign to compete. I’m like and then the next one is the Max Crosby one time to compete like like when Hey, when when’s that time? Like did it start already? Cuz I haven’t it hasn’t been there. But hey, just take those just take those signs down already, Doc. Can we just Yeah. Can we put a time to win one? Time to tank. Time for a quarterback, dog. Tank for Shador. Tank for Shador, dog. We’ll [ __ ] that up, too. But but that’s what I was saying, like just going into the season, the expectations weren’t too high. I tried, this was a year I tried to limit my expectations, especially when we brought in uh uh Pete Carol, we brought in Chip Kelly, we traded for Gino Smith, and I’m like, okay, pieces are there. We just needed a competent quarterback, a a a quarterback that could at least not make any mistakes, just sit in the pocket and do his thing, right? Which Gino Gino made mistakes, but he wasn’t this bad. He was never this bad. And you look at you look at his highlights with the the Seahawks. I don’t see half of the things that he was doing over there run like he was using his legs multiple times. And that’s what I gave him like I gave him a bit of a I gave him a bit of a push over like the the other quarterbacks that we’ve had because I I was like, “Okay, he’s a little bit mobile.” He’s like Derek Carr was but a little bit more mobile and just accurate and he could do almost the same things, right? But we haven’t seen that at all this year. And seeing how how the season has transpired, you know, I I look back at him like, you know, I was wrong and and that’s why I try to swallow my pill that swallow that pill of like I don’t want to fire that that head coach after one year. But the only thing the only reason why I would understand the Raiders doing is because Pete Carol’s timeline it is limited. Like if this was a say AP and you know we know okay we got more years with him. Okay maybe or or a younger a younger uh coach then maybe but with the with his timeline and it being limited and also like you said him being stubborn and that’s one thing that I I’ve been preaching. I was like, I don’t want Pete Carol to get fired, but him not being able to change things or being stubborn or or letting his ego get in the way, especi especially favor favoring some certain players and then not favoring the other players. It it’s going to bite him in the ass. He’s favoring uh his his son Brendan Carol. Everybody knows that the offensive line, heck, even former Raiders are calling this dude out for Brendan Carroll. And then Gino Smith, I I don’t think anybody has to say anything else about Gino Smith and how bad he’s been. And I feel like a lot of quarterbacks in the league have got benched for far less than what Gino Smith has been able to do out there. And I I understand the relationship that Pete Carol and Gino Smith have had. And I understand that Gino you you could believe in Gino Smith and we’ve seen Gino Smith good at times on other teams, but you can only back somebody for so long. And like I said, even if you bench him for a quarter or a half, just to hey, sit back and relax and see it like not now. Now you should bench him the whole time, but like earlier in the season there’s there was times where you should have benched him for at least a half or or or so and just to like hey go catch your composure. Maybe maybe you’ll catch it back and he never did. And then like Brennan Carroll. Yeah. What like you’re going to blame it all on Chip Kelly. like those reports have come out and now it’s conflicting reports because you have Tom Pelisario saying that Chip Kelly is out there uh not calling the right plays, calling fake plays, uh doing all that and then you have Ian Rapaort that came out and said no it’s not even like that like so it was like and you got to remember you got to take the most of these guys are they they are fluff pieces by agents they like hey yeah if you say this good about me or about you put this story out right now about Chip Kelly. I’ll give you the first time that we sign a bign name free agent. Like and and here here’s what I was going to ask you. Maybe maybe Tom Brady’s learning a lot this off season cuz Tom Brady wants to be involved. Tom Brady wants to be the owner, right? He wants to be the he is the minority owner. He wants to be involved in the everyday activities. This was his first cycle of hiring a head coach. And they actually did it correctly this time. And I I’ll give Tom Brady that and I’ll give the Raiders that. They actually sat down and interviewed multiple player, multiple coaches, multiple GMs. They took their time doing it. And uh I think they I think when they went to Pete Carol and they hired Pete Carol. Correct. It was probably correct at that time, but I think they forced assistance on Pete Carol. Yeah. And I I’m not I’m not We don’t know. We don’t have the inside information, but not now that the way that it’s coming out and the the season is is portraying itself, that’s the way it’s coming out. Like I don’t think Pete Carol himself would have hired Chip Kelly and I don’t think Pete Carol himself would have hired Patrick Graham. Um so when you’re not bringing in your culture guys because that’s what a coach does, right? He brings in his assistants that run his culture and and his systems and they start there. Uh, I think that might have hurt him and I think maybe that’s a learning thing for Tom Brady going forward. Like, hey, okay, if I’m gonna hire you as my coach, I gotta give you a little bit of access. I’m going to tell you that, hey, I I’m going to back you and I have all the resources to give you, money is not going to be the issue. If you want to pay a guy and and it’s going to cost $6 million to bring him in, got you. Yeah. But bring in your guys and and let’s let’s write the ship. And I think that’s where we got to go. We got to have a G. We got to have everybody on the same page. We got to have Tom Brady. We got to have uh John Spyitech and whoever our head coach is. And then then that head co head coach has to be on the same page with all his coordinators. It just can’t you just can’t hire and go, “Okay, I got you the best offense coordinator.” Because we’ve seen it like Yeah. Sometimes those dream teams, those dream scenarios. People have egos and it doesn’t Sometimes it doesn’t all go together. And I felt like I I agree with you on that. Like I wouldn’t I wouldn’t do something like that where like hey we’re gonna bring in our own coordinators. You know we made you the head coach. I feel like you don’t do that for somebody like Pete Carol because he’s h he’s got that experience and he’s got a lot of relationship with a lot of offense coordinators, defensive coordinators from from past time, right? So let him do his thing. I feel like you do that when you have a young coach that you want him to have some guidance, right? Somebody like a AP like that would be type of a hire that you would bring in a Chip Kelly. But it it makes a lot of sense why there’s a lot of reports saying that a lot of them weren’t seeing eye to eye and that fluff piece that you were talking about with Chip Kelly like there was questions going around and especially after Tom Pelisero announced that you know he basically sabotaged the team. He didn’t know what play calls he was calling out there and watching the team it made it made sense to me like seeing it. It was like okay sometimes the offense just looked bad. They didn’t know what was going on. There’s multiple times we’ve been at games where you know Gino Smith is hiking the ball and he’s like looking like oh I don’t he’s supposed to hand it off or like it’s supposed to be a play action but he’s going the wrong way that Jensen is at or whatever. It just multiple occasions like that where they just look lost. So I understood that and then with the other thing coming out it’s like damn I don’t even know who to believe. But one thing’s for sure they were both on on different pages on different sides of of the spectrum. They didn’t see eye to eye and that’s where a lot of things could get ruined. And I’ve also I’ve I’ve also seen reports that Tom Brady, you know, he was the main factor for bringing Chip Kelly on for for the mere fact that he would be the successor for P Carol, you know, cuz he’s not going to be in the league that much longer. So, you bring in somebody that’s coming from college that has that just has some success offensively. You bring him on, you let him run his offense, you know, him and Pete do their thing, build a team, and then once Pete retires, then Chip Kelly’s your head coach. I mean that that’s a tough pill to swallow as well. No, but if but if everything would have gone 100% the way that you envision, you know, go seven and nine this year, next year nine and seven or, you know, and make the playoffs and and and our offense is rolling and everybody’s doing good. You draft a young quarterback and you keep going then yeah, then people and our offense is like top in the league, you know, not maybe top 12 at that time and Chip and then they go, “Hey, Pete stepping down. Chip Kelly’s going to take over.” people would have been like, “Okay, cool.” Yeah. But like, uh, yeah, if we were winning and everything went 100%, I could see the plan that that they had. But yeah, you I don’t think you could force it. Like if the Raiders are to like I don’t I don’t know. I don’t want to switch coaches. Like I I hate it. I hate going I’m sure the players hate it. Uh I’m sure it’s not a great thing every year to do it. Uh but like I said, the only thing that is is Pete Carol’s age. So maybe you can look for a young offensive minded guy. Yeah. And do what every most teams do and be like, “Hey, you’re going to be our offense coordinator, assistant head coach, and put it in there.” And they they’ve done it in contracts where that’s how Gerard Mayo got his job with the Patriots. Is they had him as a defense coordinator, assistant head coach, when be per uh uh Belich steps down, you’ll be the next head coach. that didn’t work out for him because he only lasted one season, but it was in his contract that he got it and it’s been in people’s contract. So, that’s one way around like the Rooney rule, whatever they have is if you could automatically do it and the league has to approve it. But you would have to find a young Yeah. But, and when you look at this and like you go, okay, let’s fire like the easy thing is fire fire Pete. Let’s get Pete the hell out of here. Yeah. Okay. But who wants this jam job? I thought there’s a lot of people that would love it. There’s not a lot of not a lot of people lining up for this job, especially with not having a quarterback. And and then you have your boy Antonio Pierce yesterday. I don’t know if you caught that. It’s going to take decades to change this team around. Somebody be salty as mother. Hey AP, man, I get it AP. I get it. You lifelong Raider fan. You got your dream job. You just didn’t you weren’t cut out for the job. I But hey, I was one of the guys that said I wouldn’t fire you after one year because I was like, “Okay, let’s build and let’s find somebody.” I know it’s easy to say it now like, “Oh, I would have drafted Shador. I would have done this. Oh, you know, hey, it’s going to take decades now.” But for you, you were like, “Oh, no. We going to turn the ship around in one year.” [ __ ] you were part of the problem as well. But I I Yeah, he hella salty after that. And after watching yesterday’s video about like he he doesn’t see he doesn’t see the Raiders turning the turning the tide anytime soon. I’m like, “Bro, AP’s like, I could I fired my OC the same time you guys fired yours. I could have done the same thing.” But, but then again, you see how dysfunctional the Raiders are. You have AP on TV now after being coach and AP’s like saying, “What? If I was with Mark Davis and me and Mark, we’re on the same page. We were going to draft Shidor Sanders.” And then they do an interview with Tom Tlesco, who was a general manager with Mark Davis and AP. And what does he say? Nah, if I was the general manager, we wouldn’t have drafted Shadore. We would have took Jackson Dart. That just shows the defunction of the whole like if your owner and head coach want a player, but your GM is like, “No, we’re going to take this guy.” But it’s always been like that. No, with a lot of lot lot of uh GM uh head coaches, they’re always going to have their their players that they want, but it always comes down to who has the most say, right? But this is the problem with with us. Most people let the general most teams let the general manager hire the coach so that way it’s all on one thing. We don’t we haven’t done that the last couple times. We’ve hired even Josh McDaniels and and um and uh uh I know I forgot his name now. Dave Dave Ziggler. Dave Ziggler. Yeah. Even those two were were they were they game both came from the Patriots. They were both linked together and maybe Ziggler would have hired Josh McDaniels, but they were hired to, you know, simultaneously. Yeah. And And there you go. And um John Gruden basically hired his general manager, right? And Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Which I I really like my Mike Mayok and I respect my Mayak till today and I still think he had a lot of stuff. Uh, and uh, it was weird how he he didn’t work out, but yeah, you you should have your general manager should be able to hire your head coach. Yeah. Well, I think I think that’s the the way it might go if if they do let go of Pete Carol. Uh, I like I said, I I don’t like firing and hiring coaches cuz I’m just tired of it. Uh, I like the direction that you say like if they do if somehow someway magically keep PO because I don’t see P Carol being here next year after this season, but if they do keep him around, you got to find the successor. You have to and most likely will be an offensive coordinator. You bring in somebody that has an offensive mind. There’s a lot out there, a lot of young ones too that that could be good, but you never know. Does it have to be an offensive mind? Because I could throw some two guys names out there right now that if if you were going to drop Pete Carol. Yeah. I think you have to either go off young offensive mind guy or one guy who got booed in his own stadium yesterday. Bro, I think I know who he’s talking about. I’d take him in a heartbeat. And I like this is what you talk about when people get consistent like they they don’t know what they have until it’s gone. Right. I like I like that you’re bringing this up because I I felt the same way. This guy got booed in his own stadium. They were yelling, “Fire him.” His whole home crowd was yelling it. Mike Tomlin, bro, I Mike Tomlin. Mike Tomlin, come to Las Vegas. Come to Las Vegas today. You know what? I’mma be with the Steeler fans. Fire Tomlin. Fire Tomlin. Fire Tomlin and bring him over here. If if Tomlin is available next year, I I I drop I drop Pete in R. I drop Pete in R. I seen that I seen that video yesterday. I I came across a clip where, you know, they asked Mike Tomlin, “How did you feel about the the fans saying fire Tomland?” He’s like, “I I understand their frustrations, you know, and there’s there’s fans, bro, like I I seen even on Twitter or I mean Tik Toks like people making Tik Toks like, “Oh, we need to fire Tomlin already, blah, blah.” I was like, “Bro, you guys have not had a losing season. Y’all don’t y’all don’t know what losing feels like. You guys are just middle of the pack.” That’s the worst thing that happens to you guys is that you guys are middle of the pack. But to to to say fire the guy that’s made made the Steelers, they don’t have a lot of turnaround. I I hope the Steelers go and get a horrible coach after Mike Tomlin because then you guys will know how it feels. But I agree with you, man. If Mike Tomlin’s available, man, come to Las Vegas, man. I I think I think that’s the only guy that you that that that I’d fire for for uh that I fire Pete Carol for in a heartbeat. Yeah. Mike Tomlin would be my like I wanted Mike Tomlin. This this is how crazy it is. I wanted Mike Tomlin when he was the defensive coordinator for the the Minnesota Vikings and the Raiders had an the head coach opening job. They had it open. I said, “I want Mike Tomlin.” Oh, so you called it and he ended up going to Pittsburgh, which sucks because uh like I always told you, my family is half Pittsburgh Steeler fans. Uh and they were like, “Yeah.” And I go, “You guys got the coach I wanted.” Like that’s who I really wanted. You know who the Raiders hired that year? Who? Lane Keifin. Oh yeah. You know who’s in the news right now? Lane Keifin. Lane Keifin. Maybe we bring Lane Keifin back. But Lane Keifin. And I don’t know if it would have worked out for Mike like it has in Pittsburgh. Yeah. But Mike Tommen is very well respected. The one thing he hasn’t been able to get going in Pittsburgh since Ben left is is the quarterback position as well. So he’s been struggling with that. Uh, but Mike Tomlin with the respect and he’s never had a losing season, which doesn’t 100% mean anything like nine and eight, but I’ll take a nine and eight season over what we’ve had. Yeah. Anything, bro. And they’re mad because they haven’t won a playoff game in six years in Pittsburgh since they won the Super Bowl. Yeah. But they’ve been to the playoffs and and they’re mad because they’re losing in the playoffs. I’ll take it. At this point, I will take a lo I’ll take a blowout loss in the playoffs round one than what we are going through right now. Like Steeler fans, fire. Go ahead. Like we’ll say it together. Fire Mike Tomlin and we’ll bring him to Las Vegas because right there like that would be one move. Uh the other guy, one guy told us at the tailgate, who’ he say? Brian Flores. Brian Flores. And I like Brian Flores. Brian Flores took a bad rap because he didn’t want to tank. He didn’t want to tank in Miami. He got fired uh in Miami because he didn’t want to tank. And who’d he get fired for? This won’t ever I don’t think this would ever work out in Vegas, but if you remember, Brian Flores got fired because they wanted the tank to bring in who? Tom Brady. Tom Brady. Yeah. Uh and so I don’t think it would ever work out with there. But I I do like Brian Flores. Those are just those would be the two defensive guys that I would Oh, yeah. That those are two good options right there. I know a lot of people bringing up the Clint Kubaks of the world. Um, also even bringing in uh some college coaches. I’m like, see, I want I want a QBak as the offensive coordinator for Antonio Pierce uh before he went to New Orleans. Uh, so that I mean, there’s a lot there’s a lot of options there. It’s just whether or not the Raiders would make the right decision. But like I said, it’s not an easy job to sell like especially with the turnovers that we we’ve had. I think so, bro. If but if you’re looking at if you’re if you’re looking at a job and they go, “Hey, Simone Raider, I want to hire you as the head coach of the Raiders.” Well, I I could I could do it, bro. I’m I’m sure you could, but are you taking the job? If there’s another team that goes, I’m going to offer you three years. And then they have the Raiders who have constantly turned it over over every year. But no, but see, now I get to work under Tom Brady, John Spy. I’m gonna have a top five pick. I got weapons here. We just gota we just gota address that offensive line. I could get whatever quarterback I want. Whether it’s the Kyler Murray’s of the world. I could get one of these other uh veteran quarterbacks. You’re gonna go to Menllo College and get all the Samoan guys from uh those. You might as well. Hey, have you I don’t know if you ever heard of Menllo College. It’s like a little division three up in like the Bay Area. But last time I went there, it was all nothing but Samoan. like they were they recruited nothing but Samoan players and it was like big old dudes. I don’t know how good they are, but I mean I I think at this point I think we we go in the direction that you you talked about it and like I I’ve talked about in the last one like building that spending that money and building that offensive line in the draft and then in free agency and like you you’re going to have a lot of money in free agency to spend too. So, there’s that. And as long as we keep our G, that’s why we haven’t done is kept the GM after a coach has been fired, after a head coach has been fired. Do you like Do you like uh John Smite? I don’t think he’s that bad. I I like him. I like him. And And he he’s closer to like him and and Tom Brady are there. He’s And if you look at his background, like he’s come from winning good organizations. And I think uh I I think people are judging the this draft class way too too e too early for the Raiders. You really shouldn’t judge a draft class for a couple years. But uh I I think you know what I liked about him, the main thing I liked about him is he he played the draft board and people are upset because he traded back like, “Oh, he could have got Will Johnson in the second round.” But you know what? What is one thing that helped the Patriots win all those years? Is it collecting multiple draft picks for multiple years? The same thing with the San Francisco 49ers. If you were able to trade back and still get the guys that you like, we don’t know where Will Johnson was on his draft order. You get be able to draft and draft the guys that you like and pick up multiple picks for the future. I like it. So, no, I I like John Spite. But, uh, moving on from from the coach talks, I want to talk about something. I think that was kind of uh kind of funny, something that we could have cheered for. Uh, something that we cheered for. Uh Max Crosby basically shoving shoving Justin Herver being a little petty shoving Justin Herbert to the ground was like you see in the replay and everybody’s like boo like all the Charger fans I was like a see it’s not it’s not a it’s not a flag I don’t Oh he did get a flag for that huh? Yeah. Well we’re we’re in a we’re in Los Angeles and DevO was good at flopping. LeBron flops. Justin Herbert flops. Right. Yeah. I mean I I watched the replay and I was hella dying man. You just see uh Justin and Herbert like screaming like let’s go like you know screaming in his ear just max like they just pushed him bro like you were screaming in my ear and I’m like trying to watch you be play like he wasn’t like that like like okay hey he’s my player I’mma back him all time now I’m surprised the Chargers didn’t make it a bigger deal and Max picked him up and was like yeah like I I thought you were screaming in my ear and I know he he basically apolog I was like, “No, Max, you don’t need to apologize to him, man. Like, just do it and just move on, bro. Stand over him. Stand over him.” Like, what? What? Justin, he he held a little Richard Seymour to him, bro. Like, well, he didn’t punch him, but it was just it was just funny. Like, it was just like out of nowhere, you know, Justin Herbert’s going to go right back to the huddle, cuz it was kind of like when you’re watching the game, it was kind of like you kind of missed it, but you know, something happened, but you were like, “Yeah, I didn’t see it, right?” Was that a late hit or or what? And you maybe we thought it was rough in the pasture and then like you said you they showed it on the big screen and everybody’s like oh we’re like you and I just look at each other like I was like let’s go let them know what’s up and then your boy Isaiah was trying to fight the whole Charger bench. Hey Isaiah man let let them know what’s up. They can’t [ __ ] with the Usos man. He was like like and and hopefully like you were hoping that that would maybe spark the team a little bit. It didn’t spark anything else. No, it was just fun to look back. I guess it’s a highlight that we can look at kind of like when you know Max Crosby got into Patrick Mahomes’s face. You know, hopefully the next season of quarterbacks, Justin Herbert maybe is one of those quarterbacks that we get to see that all over again. Herbert broke his left hand. He’s having surgery. He beat us with one hand. He beat us with one hand, bro. With one hand like Crosby like like after you pushing like he already broke his hand like there ain’t much. Hey Crosby, man, do it 10 times over. I I love the fact that he was able to just I think it’s a funny clip just to look back at it. It’s something that we could take out of this game and use for future memes, man. Maybe one we’ll have a we’ll have a picture of Max just shoving them and that’ll be like on a t-shirt or something. Yeah. Like we we always look for that one moment and be like, “Yeah, hey, you guys got zero rings and your quarterback got punked by Max Cross.” Hey, you see I posted I reposted that yesterday. I was so mad yesterday cuz there was like a lot of Charger fans like just dogging us. I like man it. I’mma just I’mma just freaking rage bait him, bro. I reposted the the zero rings thing and all of them came out. I was like, “Okay, my job was done.” Yeah. I I Well, I beat everybody to the comments. I was like, “This guy bought a jersey and he put his own money on it.” Like, no, I didn’t. That you know, it was that jersey is actually to honor a friend of ours that passed away, another Raider fan that passed away. And she that was like one of her last things that for us. Yeah. Um Kelsey. Oh, Kelsey. That was actually her idea was to do that jersey. I didn’t know that. And uh Yeah. So, she passed away and it was it’s just an honor. Like, and it’s funny. It’s like it’s always like it’s all we have. Like, it’s all we have. Like, the Chargers have basically swept us two years in a row now. This is all we have. And it’s it gets to the Charger fans like like what was your like Marman Marman called you over, took his damn belt off, and was like, “P, I want you guys to hear this.” And he’s like, “P” And it was like And then what did you say right after? Like, I was like, “Well, I don’t got no rings anyway.” Like, “Hey, we Hey, I don’t care what y’all say. All the Charger fans out there say, “Oh, you weren’t born for those rings. Oh, those dusty ass rings.” Hey, they still rings at the end of the day. We still got three of them. Your guys’ franchise has been around for a long time, and y’all haven’t seen a ring. Not one time. You guys don’t even have one to brag about. So, I’m going still I’mma still talk about it. I know a lot of Raider fans are going to still talk about it. So, hey, we got three. Y’all got none. Hey, you guys are you guys are fighting for a participation trophy at this point because I’d rather have three Super Bowls for the rest of my lifetime and never than never having a Super Bowl in my lifetime and just winning a couple of seasons here and there. Hey, one of the Super Bowl trophies or one of the rings say LA on it. Just just let Hey, we we won one in every different spot. I mean, Las Vegas is coming soon, pretty soon. But hey, I don’t give a [ __ ] that that it gets a lot of the the the Charger fans riled up all the time, but hey, it you know what? I know it’s been bad for us. It’s been real bad. You know, struggling watching this team struggle so much, but it could be worse. We could be Charger fans. Could be Charger fans. We could be We could be rooting for a team that’s never won it, right? Would you rather suck for 20 plus years with three Super Bowls in your resume or suck forever and have no Super Bowls or or have some winning season? We’re mediocre seasons in Oh, we have a good quarterback. There was a year that the Chargers had the number one offense and the number one defense and still choked in the playoffs because they had the worst special teams whatsoever. Hey, bro. Let’s see. Y’all y’all could have all the weapons in the world, man. Y’all still the Chargers. And I’d rather be a Raider fan 10 times over in my lifetime than be a Charger fan and never see the the the the team win anything. I mean, I didn’t see the Raiders win anything, but we got something to brag about. That that’s that’s besides the point. But I I I just, you know, at the end of the day, I was walking home. I I was walking to to my ride and I was like, you know what? It’s okay. You know, it’s another season that that that sucks, whatever. But hey, we got we got a a franchise that has won something. you know, it could be worse. And I had to think about that and I was like, you know what? I’m not a Charger fan, so I got something to be uh proud of. It could be a lot worse. It could be a lot worse. But and then I don’t give Charger fans a hard time because they always say, “Oh, you you guys weren’t even alive for the last Super Bowl or whatever.” And I’ll be like, “Yeah, but you you guys didn’t even know the Chargers existed this year. You just went about that jersey right now.” Like like most like like people are like, “This is the most Charger fans I ever seen at a Raider Charger game.” Yeah, because they all just jumped on the bandwagon this year. Like they’re starting to come out like half of them are Madison Beer fans. So, let’s be honest, guys. But hey, you guys you guys haven’t seen your Chargers win anything. You guys still not going to see it. I don’t think your your babies, your your grandchild, your grandkids are are going to see the Chargers win anytime soon. Hey, but at least you guys got some nice uniforms for yourselves, right? To to brag about. At least you guys have some solid uh schedule release videos, right? That that’s what you guys could brag about. and and a good social media team. They Hey, I don’t you know what the Chargers are basically a content creator uh team. They they are they’re a social media team. I don’t know if you saw that yesterday, but they they blurred it out, but they basically called uh they b they was Man, I wish I had it. I should have had it ready, but I think they called us I think they called the Raiders a [ __ ] yesterday. Did they? I want to say I want to say they did. Uh let me see if I can find the actual post, but uh they actually uh they covered it. Um, okay. Well, what while you’re finding that out? Yeah. Let me see if I can find it. Cuz I want to say they they uh it was like something like it smelled like [ __ ] in here or something. Did they really? You caught it on camera or right here. Uh, let me see. See if you can tell me what that word is underneath that where they crossed it out. That’s [ __ ] right? I don’t know if you guys will be able to see that, but I’ll I’ll probably put I’ll put it put it on there. But smells like a sweep. And it says, “Ooh, [ __ ] It stink.” That’s when But they crossed out [ __ ] Okay. I Yeah, it is. Hey, I apologize. Hey, that that’s funny. I chuckled a little bit. I mean, I mean, their social media team Hey, that is good. If if if the NFL was all about social media, I think you guys would be pretty much up there. But as far as a team that’s relevant, no. You guys haven’t won nothing. You guys have nothing to brag about other than, hey, we we won a little bit more games than you. We we’ve been uh a little more re relevant than you guys have been in the past couple of years. Okay, I’ll give it to you. But you guys never won the big one. They’re taking a lot of Webbies home. They’re taking a lot of Yeah, they’re taking a lot of Webbies home. Hey, I do got some uh I know I don’t know how much time we got, but I want to ask this one question before I get to some of the hot takes that the fans uh gave. This question I seen uh shout out to my boy Byron. I seen it on his story, but I thought it was something that I wanted to ask that would be kind of interesting. Who do you think would win in the game, the 2016 Raiders or the 2021 Raiders? 2016. Yeah. How so? Why so? Uh they’re more aggressive. They they I think they were more talented as well, too. Yeah. Yeah. Cuz I I don’t think that 20 A lot of people bring up 2021, but that team that team was good. It wasn’t led by the off. Well, it was led by the run game and special teams and stuff like that. Not not much of our quarterback like a lot of people think it is, but yeah, that 2016 season was they took a lot of risk like they took a lot of risk in that and and Jack Del Rio was good at that time. Bill Musgrave was good and and yeah, I think they just the the risk that they would have would have to take would have taken and and then you got to who’s coaching that 21 team? Is it Basha or you still got Gruden going the whole season because that there’s a difference there too. There is a big difference cuz Bace is the one that got him to the playoffs. Gruden Gruden might have wore it down by the end of the season and some of his play calling was questionable at the beginning of the games too. So, uh yeah, I think I think 2016 would have Okay, I got a better because I think that’s a that’s an easy that’s an easy one. But 2016 Raiders versus the last Super Bowl Raiders, 2002, right? 2002, 2003 Raiders. Oh, the Yeah. Who Who wins that one though? Oh, the Raiders. The the the Raiders. The Super Bowl champions. You think so? Over the 2016 team. You got Jerry Rice, you got Tim Brown, you got Jerry Porter, you got you got that offensive line like Max Crosby versus or no, Max wasn’t on the 2016 team, but who was on there? Uh Mac, Kh Mack, Khil Mack versus Lincoln Kennedy. Oo. Oh, that would have been a good matchup, right? Like uh I I don’t know. That Raider that Raider defense back then was You think so? I I think the 2016 would still win. But Charles Woodson is picking off Derek Carr all day every day. You think so? Oh, he’s taking him to the house. Nah, that Derek Carr, bro. Oh, no. The 2016 Derek Carr. Yeah. No, Charles, I I take him over Rich Ganon. That year, Rich Oh, was that his MVP season? Yeah. Oh, yeah. That’s kind of tough. That would be a good match up. That would be a good match up though. But then again, look at MVP awards back then are not like like Rich Gan I think threw for 2500 yards that year. Yeah. Now people are throwing for 5,000 yards. Yeah. But I Derek Carr, Mari Cooper, Michael Crabtree, Seth Roberts. I mean it itavius Murray. No, it would be a good matchup. But I think that would be a good one. I guess I’ll say 2016 Raiders. You say 20 uh 20. Are they considered 2002 or 2003? Because it was a 2003 2002. Okay. Okay. The 2002 Raiders, 2016 Raiders. I would take 2002. Okay. Yeah, that that’s a good match. I I think I’ll put that. All right. What about this one? 2006 two and 14 Raiders versus the Raiders today. Aaron Brooks and Andrew Walters and Marcus Tulio also. Uh the 32nd ranked offense with the top three defense versus what we have right now. just right now. I think 2006 cuz at least they got Marcus too. Okay, that I thought that was funny. I’ll probably put that in that one. But I got some hot takes. Okay, we’ll go over them real quick cuz I know we got five minutes on here. Shoot it. All right, I I asked the nation to give me some hot takes and what do you think the Raiders need to do to turn the this tide around? And there’s some there’s some good ones here. All right. From BK Pops 12, he says that we should have never fired AP. Do you agree? No, I don’t. I don’t agree. Like, if we were going to if we were going to fire AP, we had to upgrade, which it doesn’t look like it was now, but Pete Carol is an upgrade over AP resume, everything, and you were going that way. And we forgot the mistakes and and how the time management and everything that AP AP was not ready to be a head coach. Yeah, I I I I disagree cuz I I I said that I didn’t want to like I I I’ll always say I didn’t want to fire AP and I will say I of course I I was down for the Prol hire, but at the time I was like, “Yeah, P I mean AP was definitely inexperienced, but he’s got to learn from his mistakes. I rather give a a coach two to three years to see if they could get better or not.” And I don’t think he was given that chance. How about this? The mistake wasn’t firing uh AP or the mistake maybe the mistake was to fire AP. The mistake was hiring AP in the first place. Yeah, we should have done a full coaching search and everything like that. I I don’t think Yeah, I agree with that. That was it. But we we as a fan base, we the players, everybody kind of forced it on Mark Davis and Mark Davis should have just done his own decision. No, no, but Mark Davis is going to get even more flack for that because they would have never known how bad AP would have been if we never gave him the job. If we moved on from him and we hired anybody else, maybe Jim, I I don’t I know Jim was one, but if we hired anybody else and they did bad, everybody like we should have never Same thing with Rich Pace. You had to learn. You had to learn and it just didn’t work out. Yeah. But but I totally understand why Mark Davis did that. Uh somebody said bring Guden back. Uh I I’ll start this one. No, there there’s no new. We talked about it before. Every I’m tired of hearing that like everybody’s saying bring Gruden back. Bring Derek Carr back, but you guys don’t understand how bad it and I I’m not saying that Derek Carr is bad, but they’re going back to that because he was the most stable quarterback that we had for a while. But that doesn’t change the fact that he was not a good quarterback. That doesn’t change the fact that he was a mid quarterback. You want to at least try with somebody new and and shoot for the stars for some potential there. not going back and retreading to old things that you know didn’t h didn’t didn’t work out. And as far as John Gruden, you guys got got to remember, man, he wasn’t great. He made a lot of questionable decisions. A lot of people go back to that because of nostalgia. But when when you look, we’re talking about draft a and even free agency moves, man. He made a lot of questionable ones as well. And if you’re looking to draft a quarterback in next year’s draft, like a rookie quarterback, John Gruden hasn’t developed quarterbacks. Mm- He doesn’t develop them. He He never did in in Tampa. You remember he he won the Super Bowl with Tony Dunie’s team. Uh he played Arch, of course, he took the Raiders, Bill Khan took the Raiders with John Gruden’s roster, but he didn’t build that team in Tampa. He he won it with Tony Tony Dunie’s team and then got fired from it later on and then he came back to us. He was building a team and it looked like we were heading in the right direction, but we don’t know that. Yeah. because the two year the the previous years with John Grudin is we started off hot and then we went down and they were saying that his style uh would would uh make the players tired towards the end of the season. So I don’t know and no that that’s the easiest answer. No, we had our time with John Gruden. Let him do his thing on on TV. Uh but we the game had John Gruden there was there was times where people questioned his play call. So yeah, people wanted him gone too for multiple times. And you guys talk about somebody that’s stubborn. He’s just a stubborn too. U but this this next one from uh um good all kid and it just goes back to the point that we just made. He says we need to build through the draft and stop taking risk reach and stop taking risky reaches for players early in the draft. For example, Cleveland Ferrell, Tyrie Wilson, Alex Leatherwood, and Damon Arnett. Well, three of those four names are John Gruden’s first round picks right there. So, I mean, well, time out. Clear’s tearing it up this year. Oh, is I I haven’t I haven’t kept up. He has four sacks in like the last two, three weeks. Uh he’s he’s actually turned his career around and he’s playing really good for San Francisco. U but yeah, but we no if especially if you’re drafting high, but then again, every draft pick is a risk. You never know. And that’s why I say that’s why I go back to I don’t want a tank because you never know what a college guy or what a prospect is going to be uh until they get in the NFL and actually start playing games. They could be considered a generational talent guy and then they get into the NFL and it’s not there. it didn’t click there or guys are smart enough to figure it out because now you’re going up against the best of the best and and people are finding your tendencies and they’re finding your weaknesses and they’re hitting you. Uh so uh I don’t know if there I don’t know if there is such thing as a reach in the NFL draft. There’s because hey, is it a reach if they worked out like Alex Leatherwood should have been a third round pick or whatever it was and we took him in the first round. But if he would have turned out to be that number one badass offensive tackle, would that have been a reach? No. Nobody would be talking about it. You only talk about it when it doesn’t work out. Yeah, that’s true. Now, this next one is kind of it kind of goes to your point where I I I spoke on earlier. Um it’s two, but they kind of go together. Fix the offensive line first, quarterback second. This fire the coaching staff is uh insanity at this point. We already have three other former head coaches on the payroll. Don’t need to add a fourth. And somebody else said we should have drafted Dart or Oline over Jensy and went for Jeremiah Love in the next draft. How do you feel about that? We should have got offensive line. And this is a guy Joe has been a guy that’s been scrutinized for his last two uh draft reactions. Not because the player’s been bad, but you’ve always went offensive lineman over getting skills. Well, well, the what I’ve always been learned, what I’ve always been taught is you build the with your left tackle, your blind side tackle, and then you pass rusher, then quarterback, and that’s how you build your team. You build the trenches, and then you build the quarterback, and then you go from there. So, and then like the Raiders don’t have like we brought in a we brought in Brock Bowers, who is unbelievable talent. like yesterday, you seen it with his one-handed catch. Uh, and then we brought in Ashley Genty, who was a great running back in college, but like I said, when they drafted Genty, there was so many running backs available in last year’s draft. So many unbelievable talent, and we’re seeing them. Hell, the Raiders gave up a 60-yard run yesterday to to Vital, who was an undrafted free free agent running back. Like, it seems like running backs are easier to find in my opinion. And that’s why they haven’t been going as many times. You don’t see five or six running backs go in the first round. Like you see one or two because people think they’re a generational talent. And the Raiders, it was a luxury for the Raiders to take Ashen Genty. And trust me, when I make these draft reaction, they’re my live what I’m watching TV and I’m like, “Oh, what the hell?” Like those are my and then I go back and try to analyze why they that they took them and and I try to find the positive in it. And I always want to be wrong. Trust me, I want I I don’t want to be right. Like I wish the Raiders were, you know, a 10- win team and Ash and Genty had 1500 yards and like was dominating right now and and people were pulling my clips up and just laughing at me. Like I wish that was happening. Yeah. But it’s not. So now you go back and like I said, like when you make a draft pick like that, now you question it like should that have been the pick? Should we have done that? Should we have traded back? And you know, like yeah, there’s a lot a lot of things that a lot of whatifs after it. It’s too late now. Now, now we have them like like people go, “Well, look at what Brock Bower is doing and you didn’t want Brock Bowers because now you have him on the team. You better use him. You better use him correctly.” And and and that’s that’s that’s where you put yourself in these predicaments. That’s why we’ve had two offense or well, basically we’ve gone through this are now our fourth offensive coordinator since we’ve got Brock Bowers and now Ashen Genty is going through his second offensive coordinator in just one year. And to that point too, it’s like it’s not like we we don’t like these players and stuff like that cuz I agree like the Raiders should have went in a different direction cuz I I I continue to preach here everybody looks at me and they they say oh you you remember you didn’t want Ashen Gent like yeah not because he was a bad player but for the fact that there was other needs on the team that the Raiders could have addressed and if this was a bad running back class then maybe that that would I would understand that but we see a lot of good running backs. I mean, Judkins is is a solid running back. We got Trayvon Henderson. You got so many other with Hampton that you could have got later on in a draft and you could have addressed a different position. I was a I was a quarterback guy. I wanted a quarterback guy to at least have some hope for the future, whether it was a Jackson D, whether it was uh Chador Sanders in in the first round. anybody, but uh not addressing that position or going and getting somebody just cuz they’re best player available at a position that we really don’t need at the time, especially for a team offensively had holes everywhere else. But, you know, I I I’m happy that he’s here. It’s the same thing that we could say about the the bust that we’ve had. You know, like I didn’t want Cleveland Ferrell. A lot of Raider Nation didn’t want him, but hey, he’s he’s a Raider. I’mma root for him and I hope that he he proves us wrong. Well, we want we wanted a defensive end that year. Yeah, it just wasn’t clean and Pharaoh. It was Josh Allen and he’s been Oliver Josh Allen Hines or whatever. Yeah. But they speaking about reaches now that was the same draft that we took Max Crosby. Yeah. So if you would have flipped Max Crosby and Clean Ferrell and say we reached for Max Crosby in the first round because they loved him. Yeah. And they took Max Crosby in the same spot now he’s doing it and people like, “Oh, you reached for him and now you’re like, “Oh, it’s not that bad.” So I mean that would that would have been crazy though. So now now you’re looking at like, okay, yeah, we we missed on that first round pick, but we also hit on a Yeah. And and that’s one something I will say about the John Guda and Mike Mayok era is that they did way better in the mid rounds than they did in the first round. And it’s kind of like the Alex Leatherwood year like everybody wanted Trayvon Merrick where somebody But if you if you flip Trayvon Merrick as the first round pick and Alex Leatherwood was the second round pick. was like, “Okay, that once they got Trayvon in the second round, I was like I went on like I told you I went on a big old rant on the Alex Lewood and I was like pissed off and I threw my hat and I was like mad and but once they took cuz I wanted Trayvon I wanted Merrick and then they took him in the second round. I was like, “Okay, we’re good now. We’re flipped it. We’re good.” Yeah. Um was it I don’t know. Okay. Okay. No, I agree with you on that. Um the next one, let me see. All right, this next hot take uh comes from TJ officially. Well, it’s not me though because the the hot take is we need to move back to Oakland. Yeah, because that that that we were winning in Oakland, so we need to go back. Like that that is the missing link. Like I remember winning all those games in Oakland. Yeah, especially those those last couple of years in Oakland, man. And and I think I agree with you on that one, man. Maybe moving back to Oakland will help this team win more games and we’ll have a much better stadium over there. How about How about we just put the uh the baseball field in Vegas. Oh, that’d be nice. Like, you know, hey, tear it up, put the baseball diamond, and we play on the dirt for the first couple games and maybe that works out. Maybe. Maybe you’re right. It was I I don’t know. I I don’t know why I don’t know why fans still bring it up. Like, yes, Oakland was Oakland had that the the fan base going crazy. It was it was a different time over there. We talked about the tailgate, right, with LA. Uh tailgate in Oakland was second to none. But the product on the field is the same thing that we see in Vegas. It’s not going to make that much of a difference. And until the Raiders start winning again, Vegas will start going up as well, but I don’t think moving to Oakland. I mean, Oakland didn’t even want the Raiders. So, so why even why even think about going back? Yeah, Oakland Oak Oakland kicked the Raiders out. They picked the A’s Oak the Oakland A’s over us and now the A’s are in Vegas. Now the A’s are coming to Vegas. Yeah. So if there’s anybody to blame, it’s Oakland. But what we’ve learned is the tailgate, where you tailgate at, the stadium that you play at, and uh the city that you play at don’t mean [ __ ] if you don’t have no product on the field. That’s absolutely true. Yeah. And hey, when when it starts to get going over here in Vegas, it’s it’s going to be go it’s going to be it’s going to be great. Hospitality is great. Food is great. Everything outside of the the winning is great over there in Vegas. So hopefully they could turn it around and I know the team right now he’s in the win club. He in the W club. I be in the W club but we don’t win a lot. But yeah, Joe. I mean another week, another loss for the Raiders, man. It’s it’s a it’s a tough season so far. One of the worst seasons I’ve experienced. Uh for sure in Las Vegas for sure. So uh hopefully the Raiders can turn things around pretty soon. We’re sitting at 2 and 10 right now. I don’t think that the Raiders are going to win any more games. We’re probably going to move up the the draft boards and hopefully draft a quarterback. But knowing the Raiders, they might mess around and draft the or we bring Gino Smith back next year. We run it back. Yeah. Because maybe he’s just having a bad season at Numerology cuz Mr. Fitz Numerology said Gino Smith gonna have a good good season Hall of Fame season next year. So, hey, we run it back one more time. Pete, we Hey, we bring Listen here. One last idea. Pete Carol comes back next year. Brendan Carol, offensive coordinator. Oh, that’d be perfect. Because maybe he not a good offensive line coach, but offensive coordinator. Yeah, because you know what? If we draft the number one wide receiver this year and we do bad next year, we’ll have a high pick and we could get a quarterback that year and we’ll have the full We’ll have a full uh offense full of stars. Mhm. We could go wide receiver first round and wait on a quarterback one more get a quarterback and then like find some like you know just find some random offensive linemen that aren’t doing anything throw them in there. Yeah. I don’t know man. I I know he’s [ __ ] around but yeah it’s like like people get mad like I have some guy get mad at me and I don’t know if you get this but he goes why do you guys joke about our team? because they joke around like we’re they joke around on the field so we joke around. They they’ve made it basically our team has been a joke for 20 years. Yeah. And and there was a time where I was the same way. I was like, man, let me talk about my Raiders like that. And now it’s just like Yeah. I like I put I put a post yesterday. I wish one day the Raiders would back up all the [ __ ] talk that we do. Just just one time. It’s hard to [ __ ] talk now. And when you do [ __ ] talk, Raider fans even say, “Why are you even talking, bro?” Like like, “Bro, I’m just trying to have some fun here, man. Let me talk [ __ ] before the game starts. But yeah, maybe maybe one day, but that day ain’t today. Who said I hate the Raiders? I hate the Raiders. But we still going to show up, man. See you on next week. Who’s next game? We got Denver Broncos. Hey, people say, “Why you still watching the team, man?” Hey, at this point, I love watching comedies, you know? It’s like watching a comedy show out there. It’s a standup special. We get to go watch and just laugh and then be mad and then laugh again. So that this is the whole cycle. Who’s Oh, we had a quarterback trip himself, bro. And no, no quarterback is doing what Gino is doing right now, man. The fact that he was a You know what’s funny about that video that I posted? If you slow it down and look at it, he still could have handed it off as he was going down. Like he was falling. He should have just gave it to Hey, why why do you still watch the games? Cuz if you think it looks bad on TV, it’s even funnier in person. Funnier in person. But yeah, I’m sorry. No, I should I apologize. We We suck again. We suck every single year. and the Raiders. Hey, hopefully we could blame Gino at the end of the season for having the number one pick overall and we could find the quarterback of the future, but I feel like I’ve told you I think I’ve told you this before and I’m your friend. So, I I need to tell you this one more time, too. Like, your team [ __ ] sucks. Your team sucks. This is a guy that really wanted Gino over here. So, your your quarterback sucks, bro. But, you know, with that said, man, until the next one, man, I I know time’s winding down, but we’ll see you guys after the next game. Your boy some more Raider. Find me uh all social media platforms and the Joe Moley on social media platforms as well. Gino. All right, y’all.

Brah! It was over by the buy week! Now we are looking for that top 3 draft pick!
Drafting shadeur?? Thank god AP not the coach
I know y’all weren’t Carr fans but at least with Derek there was hope. The last few seasons I’ve been hopeless.
Well, I hope next year isn't gonna be as bad as this year because I don't think I wanna look at raider football no more
What are you gonna say about the raiders that you haven't already said.
Raider suck. You already know what they need to do.
You guys did great this year. Highlight of the season has been watching you guys. Started watching Raiders this year. Didn't really know about Crosby until now. And man I dont have the words, he's incredbile.
Derek was top 10 every season. You’re trippin hard! Look at the saints and raiders after Derek. He made them more competitive. He led the league in game winning and comeback drives for his time in the league.
The critical mistake was not drafting a qb to compete with Geno. Could have been Sanders.
Bro Samoan Raider is delusional, Ben Johnson would’ve came to the raiders if the team was such a attractive job. Makes no sense
This dumbass really put raiders season officially over it’s been like that since we were 1-4 we damn near lost all hope at 1-3
The Season has been over since week 2!
Man I was looking for yall at the tailgate 😭✌🏼
We lost to a Qb with a broken hand #tankwell

The Steelers should hire Chip Kelly
Bring in Shula Jr
Joe Brady for HC & Draft Fernando Mendoza!
The Raiders Organization has finally broke the fan base. Most just don’t care anymore 20 plus years of horrendous football.

BRO AM I THE ONLY ONE HEARING THIS SHIT??
It was over before it started son!!
That’s were I met yall in LA left with a L but was dope experience with the fans
People wanting Tomlin are never going to learn. Stop bringing in big name old retread coaches who have proven they shouldn’t be a coach anymore or again. “I’d rather have Tomlin and at least get a playoff appearance.” What the f*ck? You want to know why Steeler fans boo him? Because they have standards and that’s winning games in the playoffs not just making it to the playoffs. Do what they did when they originally brought in Tomlin. Set the trend and create a culture. We don’t need Pete Carroll 2.0
Stop going into the season with false hope Uce, be realistic and have low expectations. Things will work out better for you trust me. This team doesn’t deserve benefit of the doubt and hype every year
