  1. Can anyone explain how Hamonic can repeatedly get chances over better alternatives like JBD (maybe even Holl)? I truly can’t understand it. A caveman like me can see the harm he does on the ice, even if you ignore the analytics which show him tied for 7th worst in the league (and by a wide margin). I am honestly just confused.

  2. Goo Goo Dolls came on the radio today. I don’t know if that’s a good sign or a bad sign considering it’s the radio and not a Walkman, but it feels like a sign nonetheless.

  6. Unrelated, but I’ve been really bummed out about how much I dislike Borderlands 4. Over the last few years my interest for games has been declining a ton. Borderlands has always held a very special place in my heart though and one of the few games I genuinely get excited for.

    Game did not hit for me.

  12. Finnie is third on the team in hits and takeaways yet is the only skater on the team to have not taken a penalty yet.

    He is one of five players in the league who have played at least 400 minutes to not take a penalty. The other four have a combined 42 hits. Finnie has 52.

    Not what you’d expect out of a 20 year old rookie. But you love to see it.

  14. I lowkey miss the way Yzerman built the 2023-24 team. He j took the most talented players he could buy and threw them together. It’s a hell of a lot better than getting bums who play the “right way”

  15. My friends have asked me why Cossa hasn’t been brought up and I don’t really have an answer. Is the consensus that they don’t want to throw him to the wolves to early for fear of ruining his confidence?

  24. Started the game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and I am loving the world building. I don’t usually like turn based games, but I’ve really been enjoying this one.

    Story is really really cool, too!

  27. Christmas tree is up, about 5-6 inches of snow is falling today, and the Wings play the Bruins tonight.
