The next hire will be huge, because right now our ceiling is last in our division.
Because they all got contract extensions even through bad years….
At least Gannon’s not making top coach money. Still maybe if Bidwill would have coughed up more money we could have had Payton
Bidwill strategy is to not overpay for any one coach but to hire cheap coaches and pay 2-3 others that he’s fired at the same time.
Highest paid coaches know they’re good coaches and probably stand up to incompetent buffoon owners like Bidwill, which is why he won’t hire anyone with an actual resume.
The Cardinals are cursed with good owners in the division. Also that’s crazy how much money some coaches get paid, I thought the highest paid coach was getting like $10M a year. On that note we have to hope Shanahan grows tired and steps away from coaching or McVay retires maybe because Stafford calls it quits. That’s the only way the Cardinals are catching up to the other teams unless the Cardinals get a miracle and John Harbaugh or Matt LaFleur comes here.
