Highest rated OL vs the Chargers, none other than Caleb Rogers

Fully expect Pete to fuck around and continue to work in others instead of develop Rogers through consistent play though

It’s interesting to me that he only got 17 reps and Mafi got 31.
Pete: “Well we will continue to get him some reps here and there. But we’ve decided to sign Slappy McCormick and have him start at guard. Now we know he’s 52 years old, but Ol Slappy has some gumption. And that’s what Pete likes.”
*chews gum*
Spytek gonna have all the ammo for the forced step down.
Saw that too. 17 plays. Not sure why he didn’t get more run. I didn’t see any mistakes but I didn’t see it all.
Editing to cut off Mafis pass block grade is certainly a choice
This coaching staff is just fucked. Meredith should of never been a center, parham shouldnt of been moved back to LG, and their refusal to play the rookies when everything has fallen apart is just plain stupid. We had a good thing going last year with meredith-jpj-parham and they thought they were smarter than everyone else. Some team is going to get parham for cheap and put him at either C or RG and he’ll play like an all pro if he stays healthy. I just feel it
I’ve seen multiple comments defending the coaching staff, saying they see him in practice and that he isn’t ready.
It was obvious the staff plays favorites when JPJ was getting heat for no reason. This season could have been different with a coaching staff with less ego.
Now imagine how our season would have looked if they had JPJ as center with Glaze, Mafi and Rogers and Miller. But no – he has to comPETE. #FML
Wasn’t Parham pretty good at center his rookie year?
“he had a bad practice”…Ridiculous
Small sample size. Hopefully gets more. Mafi was great in pass blocking. If we could only combine the two into one guy. lol
Should have kept Telesco
Mafi actually seems to have played well, so this isn’t a decision I’ll be hyper critical of.
Lmao
They insinuated that he was so bad in practice which is why he wasn’t developed for most of season
Comes in late and looks ok for a rookie on a line that’s been absolute ass , entire season
They put out hit piece on Chip while averaging 15piints before he gets fired, they score 14 immediately after he’s gone
You can’t make this shit up
Why can’t they hire competent fucking coaches !
I am done with Carroll. End it. Now
I’m curious what this sub thinks development is? Because it’s for sure not throw a rookies out to be a full time starter right away.
Good for Rogers, and good for the much-maligned Alex Cappa too.
Lol but I was told he was awful by a few folks in here
