I was told he wasn’t a good enough run blocker, that he wasn’t athletic enough, that he was a guard and his rookie season at LT was a fluke.

Jamaree, you stunted on these folks. To the naysayer, you said, “I am Salyer, Tackle of the Left. protector of the Herbs, the rightful heir of the swing tackle.”

May a crown be bestowed upon your large cranium. One that designates that we were not crazy, and your rookie year was not a fluke.

Jamaree Salyer is the best back-up Left Tackle in the league. Is this an overreaction? I do not care.

If Jamaree has a million fans, I am one of them. If Jamaree has one fan, then I am that one. If jamaree has no fans, then I am dead.

If the world is against Jamaree, I am against the world.

  1. I always loved this guy. And he has always loved us. Cycling through other teams’ sloppy seconds never made sense to me.

  2. I’ve been his fan since his rookie days. Even though he came from the sixth round, I always believed he could become the LT version of Shane Olivea or Jerome Clary. Not the best, but a solid lower-round steal who could hold down a starting spot. It feels great that he shook off the doubt and proved his potential.

  3. He was ok – had a lot of chip help on Sunday against a very poor Raiders team. He’s probably my preference at LT but not sure you can parade Sunday around as some kind of validation. Let’s see how the next few weeks go first lol
