  3. Clutch situations on both the offense and defense have been hurting us the most. Pats long ball seems off, too.

  4. Sure he’s not having an MVP calibre season. But he isn’t even in the top 3 of immediate loss-snowballing issues lol

  6. At the end of the day, none of this matters if we’re not winning or making the playoffs.

  8. He’s the reason we’re always in one score games. Keeps the Chiefs in striking distance no matter how badly him and the team have played previously.

  9. Outside of Rice and JuJu (albeit older JuJu), 15 doesn’t have any solid WRs. They won’t play Thornton for some reason, Brown is meh, and Worthy has zero football intuition

    I’ve never been big on accumulation stats. Simply altering the number of attempts can skew that number. I’d imagine most QBs in an Andy Reid system where Andy will forever pass it too much will have plenty of opportunities to rack up total passing yards.

    I mean Frank Gore is the 3rd all time rushing leader. Is that because he was that great?.. Or more so because he simply played forever and had a ton of attempts. #rhetorical

    This isn’t meant to disparage Pat. I think we’d all take him #1 overall if starting a franchise today. It’s more about Andy and what a failure this O has been with everything he had this year.

  12. the issue is that this team isn’t built on pat and jones being elite players at the top of their positions, which they undeniably have been. the issue is that the team is built on them being so far and away the best players at their positions that no one else can keep up, and they just haven’t been that.

    He’s been playing great but people in this sub expect him to complete every single pass

  15. Everyone wants to analyze the offense but I think the defense is the problem. No sacks in 2 games. Very few qb pressures so every opposing qb just calmly goes through their reads- or falls down, gets back up and then runs into the end zone. They can’t get off the field on 3rd and long- they were 32nd in that stat before last week. The secondary was torched by the cowboys. Ceedee had like 70 yards on slant routes alone. Spags ran multiple blitzes and none of them got home.

    Even in early mahomes era, when the offense was the best and the defense was the worst, they still got sacks in important situations. It’s just not happening this season.

  17. weve been waiting for Mahomes to get back to top of the league stats since 2022. now we have him and we are maybe 1 loss away from him missing the playoffs.

    Personally, its whatever. hes earned a postseason off more than any QB but it sucks that the run is interrupted this way. like no major injuries, Mahomes playing well for the most part and they just lose

  21. This is proof of how bad the defense is. Top 3 QB numbers and still only .500 for the year because our defense couldn’t stop a troop of girl scouts. We’ve turned into the Bengals.

  23. Fans want to blame Mahomes because it’s unfathomable that a superstar QB could play well and the team still be mediocre and, sure, he hasn’t been perfect, but he’s been as good as anyone else this season
