I doubt it. He has a negative WAR when he plays the outfield and is one of the worst fielders in the entire game. Our outfield is already pretty bad with Ramos and Lee.

There’s always a tiny chance his market dips and he’s the cheapest option to add a big bat, but that would likely mean Eldridge spends much of the year in AAA. And in the near-zero chance they flip Eldridge in a package for an ace or huge upgrade at second/corner outfield, Schwarber would be an amazing addition as the primary DH.
But I think those outcomes are at best almost zero
