WAKE-UP CALL: New Orleans Saints Overshadowed By LSU, Lane Kiffin—Why 2026 Is CRUCIAL Turning Point

The New Orleans Saints faced a pretty bleak realization on Sunday, or at least what should have been a bleak realization on Sunday as they were absolutely outshadowed by two collegiate programs in their own backyard, the LSU Tigers and by proxy of the Florida Gator to the two-lane Green Wave as well. Two collegiate coaching searches pushed the New Orleans Saints to at best beb block material on local sports cast for one of the first times that I can remember. Even going back to the 2019 uh uh uh national championship run for the LSU Tigers, the New Orleans Saints in season was still the biggest talk of the town and oftentimes still dominated things like ratings, so on and so forth. And I think this weekend served as a pretty harsh realization, or at least should, for folks that have been trying to really pass off this New Orleans Saints team for the success that it’s had in the past. You’ve heard different folks from the organization, whether it be general manager Mickey Lumis, owner Gail Benson, or others who have spent their time talking about, hey, look, we’ve done this before. We can do this again. kind of looking back in the past and kind of trying to leverage the things that they’ve been able to do in the past while struggling here in the present and honestly struggling since Shawn Peyton and Drew Brees have not been in the building. The New Orleans Saints are no longer in a position to be able to try to leverage their previous success and they are in a very much big time now or never situation at this point. Now, that doesn’t necessarily mean for the 2025 season, and I’ve been harsh about the New Orleans Saints. I’ve been critical of this team and its performance, particularly on the offensive side of the football, because things haven’t looked great, but at the same time, it is a rebuild. And so, for this 2025 season, you’re looking at the rebuild taking shape, right? You’re hoping that Tyler Shuck can be the franchise quarterback for this team, or at least the quarterback of the near future for the team. You’re hoping that guys like Devon Vle and Chris Olive and Jawan Johnson can help to put together a big-time passing attack with maybe some additional additions over the course of the offseason. You’re hoping that this offensive line which is littered with first and second round talent that just can’t seem to find a consistent way to win in games that somehow finds a way to course correct and for this run game to get going. And so far, we haven’t seen a lot of promising things on a consistent enough basis when it comes to all of those conversations so far this season, which makes 2026 vital. One of the big things that I’ve been highlighting, not just the injuries and players players being traded away and all these other things, not just all of that in terms of a loss of talent for this New Orleans Saints offense, but one of the other things that I’ve been highlighting about this team is that it’s not Kell Moore’s roster. Kell Moore came in on the offensive side of the football and inherited Dennis Allen’s roster and Clint Kubak’s roster, which was still very much the same as Dennis Allen’s roster and Pete Carmichael’s roster. And so you’re hoping over the course of the offseason that this team’s additional investments on the offensive side of the football put together a talent base and a talent pool of pieces on the offensive line, adding to the weapon uh to the weapons in terms of the skill positions, you know, helping to elevate your young quarterback that was handpicked uh when it came to this year’s 2025 NFL draft and building on the success of the 2025 draft class that this team brought in with a solid 2026 draft. draft class. We’ll do a mock draft in tomorrow’s episodes where we’ll take a look at a couple of different scenarios including the ever popular tradeback scenario that New Orleans has avoided for nearly 20 years with their last tradeback being in 2007. But that approach to team building cannot be what this team does over the course of the 2026 offseason. Things have got to change focus and redirect. And I think that this weekend being overshadowed by the collegiate programs and arguably the most important hire in Louisiana sports since Kell Moore was hired with Lane Kein being hired by the LSU Tigers. There’s no doubt about that. But kind of having to play second fiddle for a little bit should make this organization feel a little bit of a way. At least I would. Like I’m full of enough pride that I would be feeling a type of way about that and understanding that like, hey, I’m the big ticket here in the town. Let me show you what it is that I can do. But the Saints don’t have the ability to do that with what they are straddled with here in 2025. And to me, that makes 2026 very, very important. 2026, I think, will be the most telling year about whether or not the rebuild is working. Doesn’t mean that they have to win 10 games and get into the playoffs in 2026. If they can win five to seven or eight or nine games at best in 2025, then that’s or 2026 rather, that’s an improvement vastly from what we’ve seen from what this team will be capable of by this season’s end. And so at least taking steps in the right direction would be a major major uh step forward for this New Orleans Saints team, no pun intended, with steps and taking steps in the right direction, all those other things. But I think that this has to be one of those things that this team looks at from the top down and says, “All right, got to stop leaning on what’s happened before where this team was one of the most winningest teams and Mickey Lumis, one of the winningest general managers since the 2002 season. You look at 2006 through 2020, one of the winningest teams during that stretch as well with a better than 60% win percentage. But since 2020, that win percentage has plummeted, plummeted to 40% since then. And it’s gotten worse and worse each year. The Saints going on their fifth season without a playoff appearance and having their four or third season in four years in which this team has lost double-digit games. and you have to go all the way back to 2005 to find the previous time before that. So, this New Orleans Saints team has a lot of work to do. They’re not close. They’re not in a situation to where they’re going to be able to turn their season around in 2025. And even some late wins this year should only make you feel so optimistic, right? Only a little bit optimistic or at least I would put a cap on what that optimism feels like until you get back into the 2026 season or at least see what the team does over the course of the off season. I think that this is going to be a very very important offseason for New Orleans just like last season was and it was right. It was like they flipped their entire coaching staff on both sides of the football. All those things I expect you’ll see more change out on the coaching staff and I expect you’ll see a lot more change on the roster here in 2026. And that’s what makes this upcoming off season so remarkably important. And one of the reasons why draft position towards the end of the year is something we’re going to be talking more and more about because the better position the Saints are in the draft, the better opportunity they have to take advantage of the assets, whether they spin the assets as they are or accumulate more assets and spin those. In any case, 2026’s off season leading into its season is a New Orleans Saints opportunity to say we’re not thinking about the previous success anymore. We’re going to show you that we can be successful in this new iteration of ourselves. If they can’t show that, then obviously some big decisions are going to have to be made following the 2026 year. Coming up next, speaking of the future, Devon Vele, the wide receiver, sounds like he’s going to be a big part of Kell Moore’s plans moving forward. And that’s why this weekend’s performance against the Dolphins cannot be a fluke. Let’s get to that next as we continue on with today’s episode of Lockdown Saints, part of Lockdown Podcast Network, your team every day. All right, family. On today’s show, we’re focusing on the future for the New Orleans Saints. And one player that sounds like he’s going to be a big part of the future for Kell Moore’s offense is wide receiver Devon Vele. The 6’4, 6’5, 210 plus wide pound wide receiver put on an absolute show up against the Miami Dolphins. We’re going to discuss a little bit of how he did it, why it stands out, which is actually where we’re going to start, and why it cannot be a fluke, which is true. This cannot be a fluke for the New Orleans Saints. Devon Vele has got to continue to be a big part of what their plans are moving forward beyond the 2025 season and ideally throughout the rest of the 2025 season as well so they can build some momentum, build some encouraging results and build some um you know show a little bit of the process here a little bit for New Orleans. So here’s here’s what made Devon Vele’s 8 catch, 93 yard and one receiving touchdown performance up against the Miami Dolphins a really really big highlight and a really really big bright spot in what has otherwise been a pretty dark season for the New Orleans Saints offense. The big thing is you look at eight catches on eight targets. The last wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints, and do not get too excited about this, all right? Warning you right now, the last wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints to be targeted more than seven times in a game and to catch 100% of those passes is Michael Thomas back in 2020. Now, I’m not saying that Devon is going to be the next Michael Thomas. I’m not saying that Devon Bailey is going to be anywhere near as good as Michael Thomas was or let me rephrase that anywhere near as legendary as Michael Thomas was in the black and gold. That is not where we’re going here. However, if you need proof that Devon Vele could go out there and be that possession receiver that can also go out there and make some big plays for you, but that more importantly can help you move the ball down the field by catching some tough catches over the middle of the field, attacking different areas, understanding the space of the defense very well to find open pockets in zones. Devon Vele proved that up against the Miami Dolphins. That’s part of what made that performance up against that team so special. Now, I want to echo the question that everybody has been saying, and really it’s not a question. It’s more a statement, but it should not have taken 12 games to get Devon this level of opportunity. Now, his snaps have gone up since the Saints traded away Rasheed Shahid. That started in the Los Angeles Rams game on the road and then has picked up every week since then. But it was the targets and the opportunities that were allotted to him in this game against Miami, particularly in the second half when they moved him away from those inline blocking opportunities and instead allowing him to go out there and do what it is that he does best, which is run routes and catch footballs. Once they did that, the game opened up big time for him and thus opened up big time for the rest of the team. We saw Chris Olave start to break some open opportunities. We saw the tight ends get involved. We saw the running game kind of open up a little bit as well because the defense was forced not to be able to just stack the box and then it helped Tyler Shuck’s game open up because it created a situation to where they weren’t able to just send a bunch of rushers and they weren’t able to dedicate a bunch of uh coverage players to simulating pressure things like that. the Saints were able to operate a little bit more comfortably once the defense knew that it had to respect what it is that the New Orleans Saints passing game was able to bring to the table. So for me, looking over at Devon Vele and the performance that he showed up against Miami, which was a career day for him, one of his best games of his young career in that he’s only a secondy year wide receiver. One of the reasons why the Saints paid so much to get him to New Orleans, that fourth round pick and that seventh round pick, is because he’s got two years left on a cheap rookie deal on his contract. And so New Orleans brings him here. He goes out there and he has this great game. Now, he might not have 93 receiving yards next week against Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He might not have eight catches on eight targets again for the rest of the season. However, if he continues to contribute, and more appropriately, I’ll say if he continues to be put in position to contribute, it seems like he’s going to make that happen. One of the big things that if you watch this on broadcast that you heard a lot about were the inbreaking routes that he was running, inbreaking routes. Oh, he’s so good on these inbreaking routes, all those other things. Kellen Moore spoke a little bit about that on Monday after the game or the day during his day after press conference where he said, “Yeah, look, you’re playing a lot of cover two up against the Miami Dolphins and against these cover two teams. You can run some of those in breakers and you’re able to take advantage of that. That’s something that is a staple in the way that Kell Moore, Tyler Shuck, and the New Orleans Saints like to attack cover two. No mystery. You can see that it’s littered all over the tape. And so, yes, the inbreaking routes were a big part of what it is that the Saints were able to do. I believe it was five catches, but it was 50 yards on inbreaking routes out of the 93 that Devon Vele ended up reeling in. However, however, he was not limited to being impactful on the inbreaking routes running from the boundary. He also had 43 receiving yards on outbreaking routes. So, I don’t want to make it sound like the Saints only have one way to utilize him. Oh, you got to put him on the boundary, which means putting him on the far outside, right? Getting him outside of the numbers and all those other pieces or not even outside the numbers, but outside of the hashes, right? not using him in the slot, not using him in line, but getting him on the outside of the formation. That’s the boundary. And so using that boundary to those inbreing routes or routes that break to the middle of the field, that’s not the only way that the Saints found success with them. They found success with them as well, running them from the inside and letting him break outside or running him from the outside, letting him break outside towards the sideline as well. And so the Saints have shown that there is no reason why now that they shouldn’t be able to get Devon Vele heavily involved in this New Orleans Saints passing attack on the season. And so that has to be the next big piece for the Saints is figuring out a way to make sure that Devon doesn’t just get left behind and out of the game plan in some way to where oh well the progressions just weren’t there for him and the game flow didn’t allow them to be able to go there. Chris Olive is going to continue to attract a lot of attention and we saw that up against the Dolphins. One of the big reasons why Vele was able to go out there and have such an impact was because often times Chris Ave was being doubled or bracketed down the field and so that opened up chances for Tyler Shuck to look elsewhere and from that Devon Vle stepped up, continue to put him in those situations, continue to trust him in those situations. And then one of the other things that I did ask Kell Moore about that I thought was really interesting and I thought was valuable was the idea of building trust in contested catch situations. You don’t really get a chance to build that trust until you’re throwing those passes in games. Not in game situations, not in practice up against your teammates, not in joint practices up against, you know, the you don’t get that real exposure of being able to build trust in full contact, full speed situations in contested catch opportunities until you’re throwing those passes to that player. I thought that Tyler Shuck and Devon developed a little bit more of that trust in the Miami game and you could see it a lot of those contested catches, a lot of those oper or a lot of those catches that he had that were tough catches over the middle of the field. Very well contested, very well covered. Tyler Shuck is adjusting to the fact that open looks a lot different in the NFL than it does in college. I assume every quarterback has to make at least a little bit of an adjustment to that in terms of being uh comfortable about when to pull the trigger, when to, you know, where to place the ball, all those other things. But on top of that as well, Devon Vele is making good on the risk that Tyler Shuck is taking, which then builds some of the trust with Tyler Shuck. So, I think that as the chemistry has grown between Shuck and Jawan Johnson, between Shuck and Chris Ave, the chemistry seems to be growing between Shuck and Vele as well. And that is why Veil cannot be somebody that this team allows to fall out of the game plan again. He he has arrived. Let him be a part of this offensive attack and let him go out there and help you move the football and allow things to open up even more over in the offensive side of the ball. Now, the defensive side of the ball for New Orleans could be taking a big hit and more young players may have to step up in that case. I’ll tell you why as we wrap up today’s episode of Locked on Saints, put a locked on podcast network, your team every day. The New Orleans Saints might be without another starting safety for some part of the foreseeable future, depending on the severity of Justin Reed’s knee injury. So, of course, Justin Reed had to leave the game early with a knee injury. Head coach Kell Moore met with us, as we mentioned earlier, on Monday for his day after press conference, and he was asked for an update on Justin Reed’s condition. Justin Reed left the game with a knee injury. went back into the game and then had to leave the game again and then was ruled out with that injury. However, didn’t give a lot of details or didn’t give any details at all on what the injury actually is in terms of that knee injury. That’s not super surprising. They don’t have to go in depth on that if they don’t want to. And so, Kell Moore didn’t give details on exactly what it was that was going on with Justin Reed’s knee, but did mention that there is the potential for some missed games. I’m paraphrasing a little bit, but that’s mostly the quote. Potential for some missed games there. And so if the Saints are going to end up being without Justin Reed for a game, two games or more, which again is not set in stone, it’s not for certain. It’s just going to be a big thing to watch Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as the team gets back to practice. As we continue to also monitor Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, Alvin Chimera, who missed that Dolphins game with a knee injury and has had kind of this nagging ankle injury over the course latter part of the season. We’re just also going to be watching Justin Reed’s availability. uh his availability. Um and so for the Saints, uh seeing what they could potentially have to do at safety is an interesting conversation here. The Saints started off the season with Tyron Matthews set to be a part of what it was they were going to do and then he surprisingly retired before the season begins. I can’t wait to eventually someday learn what the whole story behind that is. Uh then we’ll take a look at and then they went ahead and shifted things over to Julian Blackman who um you know Brandon Sy was super excited to finally have on his team. He had been waiting forever to be able to get Julian Blackman. Wanted to draft him with the Los Angeles Rams. Wasn’t able to draft him because he got picked by the Indianapolis Colts earlier. So the Rams went a different direction for another safety who we’ll discuss here in just a moment. But Julian Blackman out for the rest of the season after the first game of the year. very unfortunate injury for a guy that was an absolute ball hawk for this team all throughout training camp. Then they turned everything over to rookie safety Jonas Sanker next to Justin Reed. And Sanker has been a revelation. He’s been awesome. He’s been one of the biggest pieces and contributors from this 2025 draft class. He doesn’t get a lot of high scores from your, you know, average pro football focused situations and everything like that, but he is such a big part of what it is that Brandon Staley is able to do over on the defensive side of the football, which by the way just gets better and better and better over the course of this season. And so now you have a rookie in Yonas Sanker who might not have the veteran next to him anymore in Justin Reed at least for some time. Now that happened to where Justin Reed had to leave the game up against the New York Giants and the Saints came up with five interceptions or five takeaways, excuse me, in that game. Now, that’s not to say that Justin Reed has cost this team any opportunities. Quite the contrary. Tied for third along with Yonas Sanker for total tackles. Has an interception on the season. Had his second career pick six up against the Atlanta Falcons. Brandon Staley discussed him going into this Miami Dolphins game, mentioning that his last four games he’s been playing very well all season, but that the last four games he’s played at a very high level of has played a very high level in brand of safety on that defense. that’s going back to the Bucks game through the by-week through the Atlanta Falcons game where of course he had to pick six in that matchup. And so now Brandon Staley having to pivot at the safety position again. And this time when he does so he’ll do so going to either or could be a combination. Could be one of the two guys. We’ll see how things kind of unfold over the course of the practice week, but either Jordan Hen and or Terrell Burgess. Terrell Burgess is the guy that Brandon Staley’s defense was able to go out there and draft when he wasn’t able to get um Julian Blackman. He went and got Terrell Burgess. And Burgess has done a fantastic job with New Orleans. He’s actually had a couple of impact plays. Walked away with a couple of pass breakups over the course of the past couple of weeks. Played one snap defensively up against the Atlanta Falcons. He came up with a third down pass break up that forced the punt on a threeandout. So, he’s had some good moments and of course has contributed a lot to special teams as has Jordan Hen. So, both of those players, oh, and Jordan Howden, by the way, the other player on this New Orleans Saints defense with a defensive touchdown, picking up that fumble at the goal line and running it back up against the uh nor near the goal line and running it back up against the New York Giants, that game that we were talking about where the Saints had five takeaways. Those five takeaways came with Justin Reed not on the field. So, this defense has the potential to operate without him, but man, that is a big piece of leadership to lose on the field. Now, if he’s not able to play, he’ll still be there at the facility, of course. It doesn’t sound like he’s a candidate for injured reserve at this time. They did say though that they’re going to let everything kind of play out. So, we’ll see if things change over the course of the week. Always something worth watching. But if he’s not on injured reserve, and even if he is on injured reserve, he’d be in the building. He’d be on the sideline potentially. And then on top of all of that, if he’s just inactive for the game, then certainly he’ll be on the sideline. And then on top of all that, you’re gonna have to figure out though who’s going out there to help communicate and act at that high safety level on the field. And so Jordan Howden as well as Terrell Burgess are going to get their opportunities to either compete or maybe even split responsibilities based upon what the particular game situation is, whatever it might be. uh next to Yona Sanker and then we’ll see how communication and all those other pieces kind of settle in over the course of the week and going into that matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road where the Saints are heavily heavily underdogs going into that matchup. And so this is going to be a big story line to watch here throughout the week as the Saints have to figure out what it is that they’re going to do with or with with a hampered Justin Reed or with no Justin Reed at all. By the way, this is probably the most I’ve ever said Justin Reed in a segment without having called him Eric. So, I’m just going to pat myself on the back a little bit for doing that. I don’t know why that is a deficiency for me, but it absolutely is. Uh, and so, this is going to be a big one to watch. How would the New Orleans Saints deal with the potential loss of Justin Reed? And, uh, which one of those two guys gets the opportunity to step up into a bit of an elevated role next to rookie Jonas Sanker to keep this defense improving. All right, last little update for you. One of the other questions that Kell Moore was asked on Monday was whether or not Charlie Smith, who nailed a 56-yard field goal right down the middleish in his debut and a kick that could have been good from it looked like 6065, uh, and also of course had that big onside kick that ended up getting recovered. I’m fairly certain it’s the first time that a kicker in his debut has kicked a an onside kick that was recovered. By the way, the first onside kick recovered for the New Orleans Saints since 2013. Obviously, the second one recovered in Miami uh going outside of the regular season and including the postseason. Obviously, the first one was very, very important when they did that. That of course was Ambush in uh in 2009/200. Uh, and then also just something to keep in mind, since the NFL changed the kickoff rules back in 2018, the first big shift in the kickoff rules, onside kicks have only been recovered 7.75% of the time. 7.75%. And so for him to go out there and be 100% one of one, uh, really, really cool. So obviously Charlie Smith had a great debut and when Kell Moore was asked whether or not he’s going to have earned the opportunity to maintain as the kicker or if they’re going to go back to the competition between he and Kade York. Um it felt a little bit like Kell Moore was kind of pumping the brakes a little bit saying like hey we’re going to you know we’ll we’ll see how things play out over the course of the week and everything. But he did say Charlie has earned the opportunity to kick something along those lines. And so that felt like a pretty solid at least commitment that things are leaning towards Charlie Smith getting his next opportunity back in Florida again up against the uh Tampa Bay Buccaneers. So just something to watch out for there. It it would be a shock to me if Charlie Smith doesn’t get the opportunity to follow up his fantastic debut. That would be a weird decision to me. would raise, you know, some questions that the team would, you know, obviously answer and everything, but it I don’t see a world in which it makes sense for Charlie Smith not to be the kicker in week 14. I can’t make sense of that, but we’ll see how things go and uh what ultimately ends up being the situation there, much like as we’ll continue to watch with Justin Reed, Alvin Chimera, all those other pieces. All right, family. In tomorrow’s episode, it’s mockdraft Wednesday. We’re doing a midweek mockdraft as we continue to turn our eyes to the future of the New Orleans Saints. The New Orleans Saints face a crossroads as their past glories fade, making the 2026 season a make-or-break moment for the franchise. With the team now overshadowed by LSU’s headline-grabbing hire of Lane Kiffin and the Tulane Green Wave’s momentum, the Saints can no longer rely on previous success. New faces like Tyler Shough, wide receiver Devaughn Vele, and a reshaped offensive line must lead a genuine reboot under head coach Kellen Moore.
Big questions loom for the Saints’ defense with Justin Reid’s knee injury possibly forcing more young talent like ordan Howden and Terrell Burgess into starting roles next to Jonas Sanker. Meanwhile, Vele’s breakout performance against the Miami Dolphins has raised expectations.

I think Kellen is more worried about the next game he doesn’t care about LSU gang
It’s like one of the biggest stories in football right now and the Saints are currently ass, of course the Kiffin hire is more significant
As long as Mickey is the GM I don’t think the roster will be competitive for Championship.
This offense is hope that they focus more on the offense and mickey Loomis needs to stop acting so hard but he knows that he is softer than a baby's ass the back office needs to get it together and I'm talking about mickey Loomis and gial benson 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩😤😤😤😤🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😠😠😠😠😠😠😾😾😾🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 I'm tired of this soft playing and tired of mickey Loomis making dumb decisions and gial benson we need to find a new general manager
Kellen Moore i hope he get things together and make better decisions with play Calling
I think we have decent core of talent that we can build on. I would like to see Coach Moore build around Shough, Vele,Olave and Neal (and draft another back) on offense.
Defensively we need another interior defensive lineman but we have Stuttsman,Riley,Koolaid, and Sanker. We need more talent but I don't think the cupboard is empty it just needs a restocking.
It's crucial for both New Orleans teams next year because the Saints need talent on offense, a new OC, and some free agents on defense to replace the aging players on their way out. Furthermore, the Pelicans need to make a trade to recoup a 1st rd pick because the 2026 NBA draft class is deep with talent, and for Gayle Benson to spend more money to hire someone like Mike Malone as the Pels HC because that's the biggest HC name available.
IMO! I Really don't think that Management is NOT Studying The ENTIRE Tape and Schools Where Players Are Being Drafted!! Being In The NFC SOUTH We're OUT POWER By RBs and WRs When It Comes Down To The Other 3 Teams In The NFC SOUTH!!!!!🫣🤫🤔
Need a stout offense line and another Reggie Bush and Daren Sproles
Heyy Ross do you think the Saints should try to find different Oline combinations since the season is over? To better understand what they have in the trenches?
Great work ROSS J !! WHODAT baby ⚜️🫶🏾
I been lost confidence in the Saints and everyone on airline Drive
Everything you say is correct but improved play calling would make a big difference.
Let me tell y'all fake as fans who don't understand football why you can't blame Moore. Last year I kept having to hear y'all blame kubiak for the offense lol he leaves and calls the game the exact same way in Seattle and look at their offense. Also rattler was playing it wasn't Moore fault it was rattlers fault for not "winning games" now shough playing it's Moore fault not shoughs. Yall keep jumping back and forth but I don't hear Micky Loomis and when someone says his name y'all say ahhhhhh shut up he ain't going anywhere… Y'all mentally ill
Everything is tainted by Mickey Loomis. From the coaching to the players. He hired or picked them. I know y’all don’t want to hear this. But, We haven’t had a winning team since Since Payton and Brees. Payton was the talent scout with Loomis there. Payton constantly fought for his choices. When he left, I’m really thinking it’s because of Loomis saying we can do it without you. Payton probably said ok, do it. Thus he moved on. He loved New Orleans. I’ve seen everyone in New Orleans ( team ) getting away from his scheme on offense. Saying it no longer works. He is in Denver with New Orleans players coaches and the same offensive scheme beating teams with it. Good teams. That proves something. We need a clear rebuild from top to bottom of anyone associated with Loomis. Coaches, players, all of it. Then you need to get someone from the Payton Tree to run and coach this team. Possibly offer a GM job to Payton himself or Cambell. Let them hire the coaches then rebuild the team.
Alontae taylor has to go he took a dive on one of the runs by dolphins. No place for that on our Saints Period. No other team should put up with that either uncalled for. Took a dive on the play
“OVERMICKEY?” We all are. But how do we get Gayle out from under his ineffective grip
Should the Saints take Diego Pavia in the third round if available?
Please bring QB Rattle back 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
