He’s awesome. Absolute nuclear offensive weapon.
Literally just posted about him and Clowney being the most unique “wing” duo in the league. Absolute minuscule on ball percentages, with high volume and efficient scoring. It’s so fun to watch
i mean, it was really the CT stans who actually believed CT was a better player than MPJ. MPJ playing with the same “scrubs” as CT.
remember kids, scoring 20pts+ on bad averages don’t make you a good player. def not a $100mil player.
MPJ still averaged 2.9 in November in 33 MPG.
Jordi is great because MPJ isn’t changing his game at all. Once the ball touches his hands the possession is probably ending so the Nets are moving the ball but MPJ is still mostly shooting.
Main difference is MPJ is used to playing off ball with Nikola whereas Cam wants the ball in his hands. If anything MPJ isn’t being used as a primary ball handler even if he’s a primary scoring option.
Clowney or Clax at the top of the key with MPJ cutting and getting the ball is how we run our offense a lot of the time. Martin and Mann driving and kicking for a 3 is our other main offense.
MPJ is still not swinging the rock but think it’s because Jordi knows he can’t so he’s putting him in the best position to succeed.
