A ‘used-to be-Sabres’ team would be unstoppable. ๐Ÿ˜‚ #SDP #Sabres #NHL

One thing I think has been really fun to talk about this year are the teams that have rebuilt and are now back up. Anaheim did it, the Sharks did it, the Blackhawks did it. They’re all kind of we see everything that’s happening. And then we see in the last previous area like the Edmonton Oilers do it really well. The Leafs bottoming out getting Matthews. Every team who rebuilds it works because rebuilds work unless you are completely incompetent. And the Buffalo Sabres are actually the exception to the rule that rebuilds work. getting high draft picks work unless you don’t have a front office that knows what they’re doing. Look at the list of names Buffalo moved off of. Start with Sam Reinhardt, but you’ve got Montour, Olivesson, like there it’s just bing bing bing bing bing. Had they simply just held and not screwed around with Sam Reinhardt’s contract and not like a bridge deal for two years. What are we doing? Yeah, the used to be Sabers team is an all-star team. That’s a Stanley Cup winning team. Throw Eel in there. Well, and you’d have Lena Mark and Ukapan. The best sleeper former saber that no one remembers, Brandon Hegel. Oh, I forgot. I think he was a draft pick. Oh, come on. The Sabres took Hegel in the sixth round in the 2016 draft. You did it. you. That’s every scouting department’s

  1. You could be Columbus and never have won a second round series. I get the โ€œnobody wants to play thereโ€, but to have missed for so long, finally get a star to sign as a FA, ultimately lose that start to a tragedy, its gotta be a curse or something.

  2. The Curse of Ryan Miller. Or just incompetent ownership and front offices. Which, the Pegulas have done pretty well with the Bills. Whatโ€™s the disconnect with the Sabres?

  3. It will be hilarious watching this channel when the Sabres are good due to sticking to their plan and the Leafs are the bottom feeder.

  4. Eichel screwed Buffalo. First, he forced their hand to go all in too soon then he screwed them by demanding a trade. That's a player that i think is a shame that he's got his name on a cup

  5. The Sabres are a prime example of why the NHL needs a commissioner that will force bad owners to sell up to people that have better intentions. Terry Pegula is the absolute worst kind of owner, yet no one in the league's executive branch seems to care. Hell, you have fans on social media claiming that the league is conspiring AGAINST the Sabres and that's why Pegula can't win.

  8. How about my Redwings? Rebuilds work MOST of the time..what about when you get screwed repeatedly by the draft lottery. Don't get me wrong, I think Yzerman started signing players too soon and should have tanked another 2 years..probably would have had to trade Larkin, but oh well
