Davion Mitchell IGNITES Miami Heat’s EXPLOSIVE Offense — Tyler Herro EXPOSED For TERRIBLE Defense!
[Music] That Miami Heat offense last night was on fire. Bama Deio 27 and4 and two blocks. Norman Pow. Yo, Norman Powell ain’t playing with nobody and especially with the Clippers. 30 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Andrew Wiggins, see y’all boys told me, “Oh, you guys should go bench Wiggins.” Andrew Wiggins, he shouldn’t be starting. Are you guys crazy? He’s 30 years old. Okay, he’s a champion, a veteran, and one of the best two-way wings in the NBA. 22 points, nine rebounds, three blocks. He’s having one of his best seasons with the Miami Heat. Tyler Herro, I know y’all been clowning him. I know his defense has been terrible and needs to improve, but last night, same thing. 22 points, three rebounds, two assists, and honestly, he’s been flourishing with the starting lineup. This man, DaVon, DaVon Mitchell, I don’t think he’s getting the credit that he deserves, especially for a guy that was only known as a defensive-minded point guard. 16 points and 12 assists. This man had a double double with assists and two steals, has the best turnover ratio in the NBA. He’s leading assist behind what I think it’s Jokic, James Harden, and one more other person. The fact that Eric Spolra has unleashed DaVon Mitchell with this offense, this high tempmpo offense, this flourishing no screens, cutting, slashing offense. DaVon Mitchell is not getting the credit that he deserves and Udonis Hassam is going to talk about that right now. But I think the good thing about this team offensively is that they don’t run any plays and that the ball finds energy. So, as long as you’re getting up and down the floor, you’re playing with energy, you’re playing with pace, the ball is going to find you. That’s just the karma of the game. And then when they get into a situation where they got to run some atto’s spo get those guys in the right situation. We’ve seen how great of a mastermind he is is in those in those specific situations defensively. You take out a guy like Pella Larson who was hellified on defense for you. He Pella was great. I mean how many charges he took those different things that he do but you got Bam back who can anchor your defense. You got Khalil back who can be an anchor on your defense. So I’m looking for those guys to get some more time out there on the court to kind of figure it out and work it out. But the ball finds energy, so nobody’s going to be left out. If worse all all else fails, run hard and you’ll get the damn ball. Run hard and you’ll get the ball. Kevin O’ Conor likes how Tyler Hero has fit in with the Miami offense. He’s flourishing in this offense. It’s looked great with Hero. Pal is still excelling as well. Hero has came in and it’s immediately fit with him offensively. And guys, we have to be patient. Is this a starting lineup that I would necessarily want? Not necessarily. However, I don’t mind the starting lineup with DaVon, Pal, Tyler, Wiggins, and Bam. Are we small? Absolutely. And I think when it comes to other teams, we’re going to have to start Khloe wear. We’re going to have to match up better because I hate small ball. I hate being outrebounded. I hate all these second chance points, but I think it’s going to depend on the team that we’re playing. However, they’re making it work now. Obviously, we got to give them a few more games. Once again, this is the first time that everyone’s healthy and we actually see everybody on the court. hero when he before he returned had a quote. He’s like, you know, I think over the course of the year, we’ll start integrating a bit more pick and roll. Well, that hasn’t happened yet. In his three games that the Heat ran eight pick and rolls versus the Pistons, five against the Bucks, 11 against the Mavericks, which is below their season average of 10.2 per game. The next lowest team is the Utah Jazz at 26.8, the Warriors at 27.3, the Rockets at 27.5. And so, hero returns. He’s flourishing in this offense. these no screens, playing with motion and movement and cutting and some offball screens as well to get guys open. But it’s looked great with Hero and Powell still is excelling as well. I I just, you know, it’s very very interesting on the topic of guys returning. Hero has come in and immediately fit. It immediately looks good with him. They also talk about Tyler Hero’s terrible defense. I do think at the end of games, Hero gets picked on all the time. Teams put him in action and go at him. He scores a lot but gives up a lot is all I’ll say. I think Hero, that’s going to be the thing with him come playoff time as well. And he’s right and we’ve seen it already. Cleveland already said it last year. We’re going to attack Tyler Herro. And even versus the Pistons, that’s what Kate Cunningham did. Jaden Ivy, everyone is going at Tyler Herro. And that’s why I said there’s no way that you can have Wiggins come off the bench. You have to have elite defenders around your weaker defenders. DaVon, Bam, Khlo Wear, Wiggins. I understand Pal will never come off the bench. He’s balling. He’s averaging 25, but that was really my only reasoning on why I had Pal coming off the bench. Everyone’s like, “Oh, you’re stupid. You don’t know basketball.” It has nothing to do about that. But we all know Tyler Herro is not coming off the bench. I don’t know where you guys get that from, and they’re not trading him. I understand that’s what you want, but let’s be realistic. Are the Miami Heat doing that? I don’t see that happening anytime soon. So, that’s why if you know you have a weak defender, surround them with better defenders. That’s what they did for Trey Young. So they’re going to have to do that with Tyler and that’s why they have DaVon, Wiggins, Bam, Kaware, defenders that can help Tyler Hero, especially when it comes to playoff time. Offensively, I think is the key word there because I do think at end of games, Hero gets picked on all the time and it’s and like teams know it. Like look, I’m I’m not Tyler Hero’s not the first guy to get picked on on the defensive end. We’ve already listed multiple guys. Obviously Trey Young comes to mind, but they really teams put him in action and go at him and and Spo has obviously these decisions to make when you get into this crunch time. Like it’s like, oh, we have guys that we can put out there that are more defensive-minded guys, but then we lose that on the offensive end. We want to keep our star guy like All-Star and Tyler Herro happy. I know I know some people are saying they should move Tyler Hero. Like he should be a guy that the Heat should sell I guess high on. Um, yeah, it’s a tough one, but he Yeah, he just he scores you a lot, but he gives a lot back is is all I’ll say about him. And I I don’t mean to crap on him here, but you just see teams go at him. Oh, they absolutely do for sure. And I I think with Hero that that’s going to be the thing with him come playoff time as well, assuming that he is a guy they end up keeping um at that point. But, you know, the Pistons put 138 on them on Saturday. I mean, just couldn’t get a single stop in that whole fourth quarter. Granted, Miami Miami put last night a great team win. Bam on DaVon Mitchell. We have been number one in pace. All of us run, but he’s the head of the snake. When DaVon gets the ball up the court, it’s literally might be three dribbles. That puts defenses on their heels because he can get downhill. Like I said, I don’t think anyone’s really giving him the credit that he deserves. Scoring 140 points for the Miami Heat is amazing. To think that we could barely crack 90 points. We will go through multiple runs, multiple minutes throughout the game, and we couldn’t score. We had stagnant offense. We couldn’t make shots in the fourth quarter. So to see this Miami Heat team with no pick and rolls, scoring 140 points, blowing teams out, and we’re actually healthy for once, it’s amazing.

I’m not gonna lie I don’t like doing how Jovic is talking smack even though he has been playing like crap like, how can you be mad because the coach is calling you out on all the things he SHOULD be calling players out for.. people like this get on my nerves, bro they rather all of the fans plus the league question the coach for not holding players accountable then for him to hold his self accountable and clean up the way he’s been playing cause he’s been pure garbage
I really don't mind this lineup, I agree with you on the small ball but not one team in this league can play with the heat bench. Herros defense will hurt this team against the good teams
I feel like Jovic has been our worst investment because of how he is declining right before our hours almost like a person being consumed by quicksand.. I mean just like you said he was Twerking for the team in Europe and now he’s on vacation when the Miami regular season starts I think he got stuff backwards.. what happened to all people used to talk about how difficult it was to play overseas and how he was playing basketball since he was 14 years old, he’s improved so much as more of a leader and growing so much because of taking so much responsibility, playing overseas, blah blah blah…. So what is this? What kind of production is this? It’s ridiculous. That’s how I check. His main income will be coming from the Miami Heat. I think he should be held accountable. Not only that but you should get some type of punishment for his poor services.
Like how do you dribble the ball all the way up to court and actually give the ball to the other team🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ bro literally said here here you go, boss🤷🏾♂️ and then he shamed himself after how willingly he gave the ball up and this happens literally a game after shade at the coach for benching him. Can’t make this shit up, bro.
I told you Powell is the future! I told you Wiggins would perform when it mattered most. I told you Davion was an example of a system used to make players better – offensive and defensive ratings are the highest in Miami than any other team. I told you Herro is a defensive liability. I told you Powell wasn't going to come off the bench. Herro had to adjust to the team, not the other way around.

You said: "They are not trading Herro." You have said a lot, and you have gotten quite a bit wrong. You forget they traded the best Heat player in history (Wade). Herro isn't immune to being traded – as Pat Riley said, no one is safe.
Help Herro? You are delusional. Herro is part of the team, not the team. If he is not performing, he will be benched. No good coach is going to sacrifice winning to appease a player's feelings.
Bro I was gifted tickets to yesterday's game. I was sitting behind Michael McCullough in the 6th row now I really got to see the whooping we put on the Clippers.
Let’s go heat
Wiggins ballin
Spo started Herro and then had him run with the 2nd unit for the rest of the game until late in the 4th. Win win for everyone who wants Herro to come off the bench
Bro…we need to just push the button…our road to another chip…it’s laid out…it just doesn’t include Herro! He’s our only weak spot…with the exception of another big…he’s being exploited early in the season…it’ll only get worse as the season goes on especially come post season…our system runs smooth…everyone loves it and has brought in…yet Herro is saying…”we need to fit in more pick & rolls”…we’re better without Herro…FACT! Herro & jovic trade for D. Gafford Pj Washington and a 1st or Max Christie…that’s a chip…Davion Mitch…Powell…Wiggs…Bam…Ware…bench…JJJ…Gafford…PJ… Pella Larsson…fontecchio…Dru…this is gun smoke!
Martel Wiggins should be starting but not at power forward.
Davion is a dawg
LETS GO HEAT
Where can I get that intro beat please?
Let’s goooo
Heat in 5
This fool says that we couldnt get a stop on Detroit in the 4th quarter. Did he see the game? The 4th quarter is when we got the game within 3 points. Just talking out the side of their mouths
Tyler is 25 , I'm not trading Tyler for no one over 30. Tyler iwill quiet all critics eventually
Bam
Ware
Wigs
Pow
Dawg
JJJ
Pel
Simon
Tyler
Dru
Just imagine if ware and jjj dominates the second unit with Tyler?? It’s all over…🏆🏆🏆🏆 is coming soon.
Davion is such a good pick-up, so smart to get him on the roster and give him a chance to flourish, what a find!! Heat do it again! Spo is the man, give him COTY already
Gonna have to decide who starts between herro and powell. Davion, Wiggins MUST START at PG and SF we need their defense. As well as bam at PF his natural position and ware for defense and rebounding. Either one can help JJJ with the 2nd unit. Heat also need to find a backup big so there'll be no reason for ware to be coming off the bench.
NO doubt about it im loving this fast paced offense and scoring 140+ BUT SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE TOO, which is our defense is struggling, hurting and we're giving up 120… there is NO YIN without the YANG….
Herro tries on defense unlike Trae so I’m ok with Herro
Oh wow, but all of the HEAT 🔥 CRITICS wanted to trade WIGGINS, DAVION and JJJ for big name overrated aging players
Like K D,
Heat on track to win 55 games LFG!
