🚨TRADE COMING? Chicago Bulls Anthony Davis Trade Rumors Are Heating Up!

Could [Music] an Anthony Davis Chicago Bulls trade be in the works as we speak right now? Well, we’re going to talk about it on today’s edition of the Bulls Report by Chad Sports. My name is Patrick Steman and welcome in. Now, the trade rumors between the Chicago Bulls and Anthony Davis have really been picking up steam over the last couple of weeks. And this report coming in from Dallas hoopsjournal.com saying Anthony Davis reportedly expects to be traded. So there is buzz out there that AD in his camp, he expects to be moving on from the Dallas Mavericks. And also Jamal Collier, who covers the Bulls for ESPN, had this to say on the AD trade rumor, saying the Bulls have had internal discussions about how the proceed, including conversations about Dallas Mavericks star Anthony Davis, sources told ESPN, whom they believe could help the team’s poorest rim protection and defensive interior. So clearly there’s real buzz here. Like there’s no doubt about it. Like the Bulls are talking about it in their front office, in their organization about landing that superstar forward in Anthony Davis. But there is a lot to break down here. Like number one, are the Bulls in a position to trade for anybody, especially a superstar talent like Anthony Davis? And then two, if the Bulls do trade for Anthony Davis, how successful would they really be? But before we give you guys my thoughts, what say you on this one? Would you trade for Anthony Davis? Um, but I got a lot of thoughts on this, but before I give you mine, you guys, let me know yours down below. Now, I will say this would be the most Chicago Bulls move of all time. Right now, the Bulls are 9 and 11. They started off the season 6 and one. They have been one of the worst teams in the NBA over the last couple weeks. You lost to the Magic last night without Palo Beno. You lost to the G-League Pistons team when they literally rested everybody and you couldn’t compete. You lost to the Pelicans. You lost to the Pacers where those two teams have a combined five wins on the season. Two of them are against the Chicago Bulls. So trading for Anthony Davis when you’re nine and 11 and trying to go all in for this season, it’ll be the most Bulls move of all time. But I promise you this, if the Bulls do trade for Anthony Davis, I’m going to get up on here on the show on the podcast and I am going to rip this move to shreds and then people are going to get down in the comments section be like, “You don’t know what you’re talking about. AD is going to get us to the mountaintop. AD is going to be that missing piece.” And then this is what’s going to happen. The Bulls are going to win 40 to 48 games somewhere around there with Anthony Davis. I even give you 45 to 48. And then I’ll still be, you know, making videos saying this was not the right move. You got to think more long term because you the Bulls are just in no position to give up future draft capital for an aging injury riddled star like Anthony Davis. But I promise you, Bulls will trade for AD. I’ll say it’s a terrible move. The Bulls will have a somewhat successful regular season. They’ll win 45 to 48 games and you guys will be coming at my neck. But then they’re going to lose in the first round of the playoffs. I guarantee that. There’s no doubt in my mind. Even if they do win one playoff series, if the Bulls just drop Anthony Davis and even just a hypothetical of him being fully healthy, like that’s a huge question mark. But if you just drop him on this roster, you’re at max. At best case scenario, you’re making the second round of the playoffs and probably getting blasted by Detroit, by New York, one of these real ball clubs in the NBA. And the polls right now, why would be so furious about this? You can’t trade draft picks for Anthony Davis. I want to give up a lottery protected first round pick for Anthony Davis. Now, if I was another team, if I was like a team like the Knicks, if I was a team like the Pistons, another team in the Eastern Conference who’s trying to compete, hell yeah, I’d give up a draft pick for Anthony Davis. You are 9 and 11. You have been stuck in NBA purgatory. This team is flatout horrible. I think with how little talent this team has, like think of Nicole Vuch sucks, Dalon Terry sucks, Patrick Williams sucks, Julian Phillips sucks, the fact that Josh Giddy, Busellis, and I Dumu have this team playing as good as they, you know, were at the beginning of the season is a credit to them. There’s just not a lot of talent here. But how how would a trade look? It’s probably going to look like this. You’re going to include Kobe White. Mavericks need a scoring guard, so you throw him in there. help match contracts. You throw in Vuch. He’s on an expiring deal. He just had to be a filler. Kevin Herder, he’s on an expiring deal as well. Then you’re going to have to give up two first round picks. You guys know I’m not a fan of Nicole Vuch. You guys know I’m not a fan of Kobe White and you guys say I look like Kevin Herder. If the Bulls did this trade, this would set the franchise back five more years. We already are set back five years because they refused to trade Lavine. They refused to let go of D Rozan. They refused to trade Nicole Vuch. But if you do this, you’re gonna set yourself back five more years because they are in no position to trade future draft capital. But I have a bad feeling that the Bulls are going to trade for Anthony Davis and fans are going to get delusional. They’re going to win 45 games and be like, “This is it, man. The Bulls are turning it around.” But then AD is going to get hurt one year and then the Bulls are back, you know, potentially in purgatory or potentially, hey, what would happen if you trade for Anthony Davis? If you give up your first round pick next year, he gets hurt. Bulls finally get lucky in the lottery and then that pick’s going to Dallas Mavericks. It’s just too risky. And I saw this report coming in from Jamal Ker who is very tapped in. Um, so this is not some BS clickbay thing. Um, apparently the Bulls are trying to replicate the Indiana Pacers and it was completely idiotic. Uh, this is what Kier had to say saying they have Hallebertton who is an all-star and they have Seakum. If Giddy can develop into an all-star guard and be what Harley was, when do we pull the trigger to get RCAK? Just one day, can this Bulls organization just be a real team for a second? Like, just stop just being so mid because they’re not bad, they’re not good, they’re just mid. They are delusional. We are nowhere near the Pacers. I understand they got two Allstars. They got Giddy. They got Seakum. But the difference between the Bulls and the Pacers roster, especially if they’re trying to replicate last year’s Pacers, they had guys like Nemhardt, they had Benedict Mat, they had TJ McConnell, they had legit killers in that backcourt who can one, not only guard at high level, but you can’t keep them in front. Kobe White would not play over any of those guys on the Pacers team. Now, I Dumu, I think, fits into that bill pretty well. But also, one thing I hate, the Giddy Hallelbertton comparison. Now listen, I think Giddy’s awesome. Giddy is the best player on this team by a wide margin right now, but just to compare Giddy and Hallebertton because they have the same archetype is just lazy, lazy takes around the NBA because they aren’t in the same tier. Like yes, in terms of playmaking ability, pushing the ball in transition, they are very similar. But what made this dude Halle Burton so special in the playoffs? Clutch shotmaking down the stretch in the games where it’s him taking guys off the dribble. What is Giddy’s biggest weakness? Yes, he had that one half quarter, but that I think Giddy’s a clutch player. Giddy can’t score off the dribble. Hallelbertton can. And just to compare those two and the Bulls front office thinking, oh, we got our next Tyrese Halbertton. Tyrese Halbertton is significantly better than Josh Giddy still. It’s just a joke. This team is just so delusional over and over again. And the delusion rides with the fan base, too. I mean, some some comments we get on these Bulls videos, I am like, you guys are watching the games, you just aren’t understanding. It is truly concerning. And I suppose you guys had a higher standard. Um, so you guys are probably killing me for this video saying I don’t want Anthony Davis saying the Bulls are delusional for uh um comparing themselves to Indiana Pacers, but I love it.
