Bucs are getting healthier. They have tons of playoff experience. Would have to travel across the country to Florida. I don’t love that spot at all. Add in that you gotta go on the road 3 times to make it to the Super Bowl. Winning the division is huge. Getting the bye would be even bigger
Just a reminder, there’s reseeding in the NFL. The Bears will play the lowest remaining seed, so just because we are the 5 seed doesn’t mean that’s our path to the NFCCG.

Playing Tampa on road is not ideal. I’d rather play at sofi or sofi north
It feels like any of these teams could go on a run. Even the teams with the best records (NE and Den) don’t feel unstoppable. The only juggernaut like team was the Rams til they got beat by Carolina.

One week we are rooting for the fucking browns of all teams now this week we settle for the 5th seed. This fan base is a joke.
What world do we live in where the Bears are a 1 seed?!
That’s what I’ve been thinking is that the 5th seed would be a pretty easy win with how bad the teams are in the south. But the 1 seed with a first round bye would be way better. Me personally I think we can potentially go all the way if we don’t face the rams in the playoffs, packers also seem like they would be a pain for us.
Whatever allows us to not play a game at Lambeau field in the post season, that’s what I want. The Bears have yet to play the Packers this season. So with two games against them to go, I think this might change quite a bit.
I would love another crack at the Buccaneers though.
If we don’t get the 1st seed, I think I’d rather stay at 5 if this were to hold up. Bucs peaked early and are vulnerable, I like us better on the road this time. Then Niners could definitely upset Rams on the road, yeah I know what happened in Santa Clara a few weeks ago but Rams do not want that match up as a “reward” for 2nd seed, trust me.

I feel like this years Super Bowl is going to be similar to the ones from the 80’s to mid 90’s where the NFC absolutely dominates the AFC regardless of who is playing.
