Id sign him, hopefully it was a bad scheme fit in Pittsburgh.
Come home
Might as well kick the tires on him. Not like he could be any worse than what’s going on here, and who knows? Coming back home might revitalize his spirits for one last push.
Need a “league rules” guy to come in here and tell me what’s possible
He looked pretty bad in Pittsburgh but I wonder if hes cooked or if he could play better in philly again?
We have nothing to lose, I’m over the Adoree Jackson and Kelee Ringo experiment.
But gotta imagine another team will probably claim him to play keep away.
Sign for a minimum and have him actually mentor (like Bradberry did)
Bring slay back idc if he’s just a mentor to the younger guys
I mean we tried with Jaire Alexander so why not try with a guy who was actually here not long ago
Bring Slay and Mehki Becton home
Hopefully Sirianni is evaluating this option.
Unless he’s making this offense look good, nope
I’m for it. Cb room was garbage before he got here. He’s at least funny.
Does he have any offensive coordinator experience? He doesn’t? Come on aboard!
I like Slay but hey not trying to rain on anyone’s parade
Might as well give it a try… should have stayed here anyways.
Come on home, literally can’t hurt
Slay washed is better than any CB we have on the field other than Mitchell and DeJean
Slay was literally decent to good just last year lol. As we’ve seen with Bradberry, am aging CB can 100% go from good to cooked in one offseason. But hey, i bet he’s not worse than fuckin Ringo
Coop/Mitchell aside this absolutely could not hurt.
Even a washed Slay has five games in him in a Fangio defense. Then he can call time on the career as an Eagle.
Do it. Bring him back.
Uh…. I’m usually the first one to say there is no going back, but this kinda feels like a shot worth taking…no?
Bro looked washed last year too but stepped up big time in the playoffs. No doubt in my mind he could do it again. Low risk signing imo, even if just to bolster maturity in the defense.

“We’re not making any changes at cornerback”
Nick Sirianni, probably
