Successful 3rd Quarter

I love Tyrese Maxey
Good game from McCain
Nice to have a comfortable win where the starters got to rest early. Go Sixers!
Maxey with less than 40 minutes and a team win. Holy hell i may go play the lottery
Not even joking I’d cut Broome and sign Simmons in his spot. It think Ben just standing at half court relay passing the ball would be more valuable then whatever Broome does.
Cardiac Sixers blow out a team they’re supposed to

Getting to watch Maxey play is such a treat. Dude is amazing hope he gets an all nba nod this year if he keeps this level of play up.
Maxey 35 burger + 28 minutes played
VJ and McCain played good
Team effort all around
Another Double digit win
Drummond’s 3s are a secret weapon
11-9
Play the Song!
28min for Maxey, I used to pray for time like this 🙏
Jared McCain +37 waow
I’ll happily take those Gordon minutes if it means Maxey is not on the court 😂

W, Maxey 29 minutes and 35 points. McCain +37.
Why can’t we play the Wizards every week?
So where are all the people who wanted to burn the arena down after a double OT loss to a good team?
Thank God for the Wizards fr needed the refresher
Haven’t liked what I’ve seen for a while, but we should still give the 16th guy on the roster a bit of a chance. Especially since he’s a rookie on the cheapest possible contract.
Even if he is a bust, it’s not that big a deal to whiff on pick #35
Good game, bad team but took care of business. All 3 guards had flashes of looking really good and none of them had crazy minute loads.
Johni Broome is not a NBA player
Yall cooked the hell out of Broome in the game thread LOL
Taking Johni Broome with the 35th pick is looking like a big mistake (0/6 FG and missed both free throws)
Offense looked smoother with McCain being involved and Grimes not in, but it’s the Wizards so… gotta see this against a better team
Maxey torching the Wizards in the 3rd was incredible, I thoroughly enjoyed that
Wish VJ did a bit more in terms of scoring but at least he put up another well rounded stat line
**Most** **interesting** **point** – Rich Paul (Maxeys agent for those that don’t know) was sitting in between Josh Harris and Bob Myers throughout the game and left at the end, him coming into town for this game of all games and sitting with two people of significance to the org certainly means something… is it too many Maxey minutes? Is it about the current roster situation and Maxeys future here? Who knows, maybe I’m overthinking it
Game hurt Quentin Grimes’ sense of importance. Edgecombe and McCain can make him superfluous- just have to see if there’s a buyer that may want a head start at being his next employer.
I am sure Johni Broome is a nice person and would absolutely dominate in the Philippines but there is nothing there. Can’t get every pick right, I suppose.
My long-term takeaway is that Maxey-McCain have such insane chemistry. It’s the Wizards, and that’s important. Testing that defense against other playoff caliber opponents is probably the key but McCain is the exact type of player I’ve been wanting next to Maxey(and he himself said it post game: Maxey playmakes, McCain shoots.)
If I could clone several McCain’s(at different positions), I would. You already have one of the game’s most dynamic ball handlers. We don’t need ball handling, we need shooting at the deadline.

Did we figure out the 3rd quarter? Let Maxey go wild?
Maxey getting some rest and McCain getting some fucking run. What a blessing of a game. Feel like I’ve barely seen our garbage time squad so far.
Broome is absolute dogshit.
I’m really curious about what went down in that draft room when they decided it was a good idea to spend a high second round pick on Johni Broome. Building depth with good value draft picks is key in todays NBA, no clue what they saw in him to make that decision.
might be the most relaxed I’ve been during a game all season, let’s do more of that
