Senators vs. Canadiens | NHL Highlights | December 02, 2025

And it will say a lot about Cole Cfield if he
finds ways to produce in a game like this where we know there’s going to be a physical toll.
There’s not going to be much room out there, but he always seems to find space for himself
and get his shot off. Amio nice body check in the corner as he laid out Dobson bucking the
slot. Amario shoots left pad stop rebound. Pinto reaching for it. Good early save from Monto here
in the first. Balduk trying to clear. Amio steals again. What a shift by this line. But he popped up
the puck and Cfield’s on the move. One on three. Shoots on Lovski. Brings it in. He’ll stop up
for Hudson. Hudson delivers. Pass Book. Oh, what a stop. Al denied him yet. Nothing but
that followup try down a night. He stops Hudson as well. And Mark is slow to get up as Montreal
snapping the puck around. The first chance. Zack Bal Duke. Lenus Almark is stretching across.
He takes the What a push. Here’s Hudson. He’ll finish it off. Suzuki Cfield goal line in front.
Score. Sakovski. Tap in. Power play goal. One- nothing Montreal as Lenus Almark was shaken up
on this play. The initial shot by Bull Duke was a stinger and eventually Uris Lapovski can cash in
on the back door. This is something Montreal has been doing recently on the power play. Sending
your ice laps from Montreal and they get the opening goal and lead as Clev tries to bring
it right in. He’s got the puck. Mat lost his stick. One time drive score. What an answer.
Zetterland a bomb and we’re tied up at one. All about confidence for Fabian Zetterland
and now has four in his last six games. A quick response for the Ottawa Senators as
Mike Mat can’t deny the entry. He loses his stick and then a shot from distance and
Fabian Zedland who’s a good goal scorer gets a lot of he had had it lost it and
then Spven slots it back in just on side. Spinning and shooting is Patterson. Wants him ball
ready. Tried to center. Recovers and up that right side. Amio trying to break in with Pinto. Back
for Amio. Amio waiting. Pinto in front. Nothing but time and he stopped. Really banged up. But
you go on a three-game road trip play the teams that they did and have those results. Thompson
re shot right on found it. A good push from the back end as Noah Dobson. Ottawa sets things up.
Sanderson thought about the one-time. Sanderson the stood slot Tim Stol back to Sanderson. Stoodl
one time bomb kicked out on Timbo. Give me either one any day. Exactly. Cousins nine power play
points leads the team. Spence works it across. M shot rebound in front. Jam drop and it’s clean
out of the crease and then wants to clear it out of harm’s way as this puck is around the crease.
Samuel Montbo first with a save on Tim Stutza. Rebound to Alex Kerier. No problem. And as
the Senators are moving this puck around, Drake Bathson can’t bat that out of the air. Loses
his stick in the process. And then Noah Dobson, but you hope that you come out of it. Okay.
Winnipeg Jets of course playing without Connor Halib now. Here’s Dustla. Some room. Sends
it across. Quick strike to Chuck. Stopped by Monzo. Brady Kachchuck looking for his first
of the season. Kachchuck battling for position. There’s Zetterland in the corner.
Has the goal for auto on this period. Zedland for Kach. Hit hard by Strual.
Strual battles in front. Zoo score. What a feed. Kach to Ardam Zoo all
alone and he buries it. 2-1 Ottawa point, but he’s not. He sneaks into the
slot and sneaks past his coverage. First, it’s Zack Baluk. He doesn’t see him. So then Cole
Coughfield standing there, but that’s not Cfield’s responsibility. He ends up getting there, but he
gets there late. The work by Brady Kachchuck and the pass on his backand makes it happen, but no
one detects that Ardam Zoo is not going to be on the right point by Montabau. Bath trying to steal.
Good job by Bath. He’ll play it up to the point. Waiting for it is Eller. Wrist shot. Montabo
shot and steers that into the corner. Gallagher. Kier in the corner waiting. Delivers in front.
Gallagher jamming two jams. still loose and the whistle blows as Gallagher Strugal Hudson pair
already in this game and the only deep pairing from Montreal together the entire season as Pinto
right on from the wall swollen up by Montbo corner for Cfield 5 seconds left in the power play for
Montreal Cfield Suzuki wrist shot into all mark he’ll squeeze and that’ll do it Pinto there
to help defensively and he gets it to Ella Lars Eller skates it up ice for Ottawa. Goes to
the right side. Rich shot. Montibal. Big rebound, but it bounces right to Dobson and he’ll gently
flick that down the ice. He wants to change. That was a threeon two that the Montreal Canadiens
tried to squeeze an intended pass off the pad that Montreal gobbles up. Pass across. Good job.
Backhand drive. Mod puck loose into the corner. He’ll curl away. Strugal for Hudson. Hudson
delivers. Suzuki waiting. Backhand try up high and Alar fought it off. Bulldo’s got stable stick.
He took it. He took it into the bench with him and the fans are irate. Amario on the puck. Amario
dishes. Cousins right on Monto the save. Clean faceoff win and Zub will work it into the corner.
Patterson shaking off Hudson. Baderson high shot. Montull the stop. Patterson. They’ll chip for
Saski. Slowski using his frame trying to protect the puck. Quick drive and that was stopped.
Capidan right on short side. Nearly squeaked it in by able to make the stop for all. He’ll dump
it in. Hudson in the corner. Hudson for Slokovski. The backhand feed and that did come out of the
zone. Saints on side. Now we’re in the corner. Battle behind the net. Kier starts the play off
ice. Demi off takes a look. Long shot right on. He will play it. Montreal will change. Amio nearly
stole the puck, but it’s worked to the line. Not out. Held in by Sanderson. Quick shot. Rebound
off the pipe and out. How did that stay out? Amio can’t believe it. Wide open net and he hit the
post behind Monto. Oh, a gift. And what a keep by Sanderson to keep that play alive. Amario again
spins away. Sanderson at the goal line. Got to get back hand right score. What a push Jake Sanderson
as the sends rewarded. Sanderson makes it 3-1. He’s such a good skater and he’s going
to win this one-on-one battle. But first, it’s a close call as the shot from the point.
Michael Amadio hits it off the post. Mike Mat clears it away. Man, that’s a wideopen net
for Michael Amadio. And then Jake Sanderson quick out of the gates drives it right through
the crease. Now strle it away from him. Clean center ice takes a shot from Jock Anderson. Then
Evans colliding with Cousins. Cousins though on the move. High shot glove side. Peron trying
to strike in game 1200. Clean picks it up off the boards. Wrist shot. One of the tip. Berson
score. Craig Bersonson. Another one. 4-1 Iowa. 29 points in 30 career games versus Montreal. Tim
Stutza tonight. He’s playing with Dylan Cousins, but it’s not going to matter because he’s
on the board with the goal. And this is really sloppy defensive zone coverage by the
Montreal Canadiens. The fourth line is going to get chocked up for Slowski in stride. It
comes to Dobson. He’ll play it up for Slowski. Here I Slowski capping it in back. Oh, what a try
going down in that left pad. All mark for Hudson. Caulfield hesitates. Suzuki stick handling
back to Cfield. Hudson Caulfield thought about it. Suzuki waiting shooting score.
Nick Suzuki power play goal and it’s 4-2. He’s going to get his fifth power play goal of
the season as he beats Lena Salmark one-on-one. Everyone on Ottawa is worried about where
is Suzuki going to pass this puck. So much so that no one pressures him. They say
you can take the shot. They leave the shot to the goalender. And Ottawa 0
for one in the game. Here’s Sanderson steps it down low. Kachchuck shooting stopped.
Rebound swatted high around Jeru plays it into the corner. Under 20 seconds left in the penalty
to Arbor Jack. Stud on the puck. Centering feed right through. Jeru is behind him. on the puck.
He’ll play it to Demi off. Demi off stretch pass Lovski cutting in wrist shot and he was tied up
and up by Zoo. Allark the right pad stop. He led in six goals on 26 shots in that last game
at Dallas. Gallagher reaching for the puck. Brandon Gallagher right on. Allark was ready.
Cut off the angle nicely. Grabbing a 4-2 lead and giving them life in a situation where they
might not have had it. Mat dangling across wrist shot stopped Dobson as he drove in on Dobson’s
got the block for Mat. Mat shoots off a stick collecting and spitting and shooting. Suzuki hit
a body as that was blocked. Bulldo big check in the corner. Pucket center and then Mat lost his
stick. He let it go and that’s a good move by Mat otherwise he would have definitely been called.
No stick though for Mat right now and he hits Zland with no stick. Good chuck for Studsla
spinning dropping Sanderson. Wrist shot stop Monto Gallagher’s wrist shot. Eller got a stick in
the way. Veno for Gallagher centering feed. Quick strike off the post. Veno looking puck to the
right of Omar. Kachchuck taking down Suzuki as he barreled him down on the ice as they’re tangled
up. Matson in shot rebound but he’s going into every battle. Cleven skates it in. Hands it off.
What a move. Bath behind the net. Right. Bathson centers and he just missed. Cousins Spence
brings it in. Drops for Kachchuck. Kachchuck back to work. Centering feet right in front.
What a stop. Studla shot down by Montembole. Peron missed the pass and Gallagher and Jensen
behind the play. Pass in front. Brady Kachchuck shoots. Score. First of the season. Brady
Kachchuck. And it’s 5-1 Ottawa. Brandon Gallagher was going to get a penalty, but it
doesn’t matter because Brady Kachchuck is going to make it 52 for the Ottawa Senators. Down.
Jensen goes down and going back the other way. Kachchuck finding a soft spot in and
missed the net. And it’s officially over. for the Ottawa Senators
7game road trip comes to an
