Great all around game from 7 against the Knicks. Third 40 point game of the season for him.

Through first 3 quarters- 37 points on 15/22 shooting

  1. The exciting part for the future is this showcase of just how reliable he is as a Number 1 Option to keep the ship steady, AND him and Tatum as a duo if available will be like riding a bike.

If he keeps it going until The February-April “Maybe Tatum” bubble, and we make a couple trade moves that turn out like our Hugo/Minott investments we got a team here against ANYBODY (we’ll address the Thunder if we ever get there)

  2. Knicks couldn’t do anything to stop him

Where does he rank among the East’s top players this year?

  3. anyone else take him for king of the court on DK, Ant only beat him cuz he went to OT with the 3-18 pelicans

  4. Imagine if he got that SGA whistle, probably a 40PPG for the whole season. I was a bit doubtful about him carrying the team consistently, but its looking good.

  5. We need some more center help, but games like this make you think there is a chance in the east. I know it is complicated but some trade sending out Simons and probably one of the young guys plus a couple first round picks and probably a 2nd for Zubak would really elevate this team. Would probably have to involve the Nets.

I really like Queta, but he is a 1b at best. If you have him and Zubak each playing 22 minutes a game they could wreck people. If Tatum could have an effective 12-20 minutes a game, Celtics could beat anyone in the east.

  6. He started the game ready to foul out with 2mins left in the 1st and it was looking like a 12pt game for him. He came out like a monster in the 2nd quarter and you could see how locked in he was for the rest of the game. Such a solid performance.

  7. As much as tatums injury fuckin blows, it’s been pretty fun to see JB ball with no pressure as a true 1.
