Which team would be the best fit for Kyle Tucker? 🤔 (Dodgers, Blue Jays, Mets? 👀)

Kyle Tucker’s the big fish. He’s a number one free agent. He is an outstanding allound player. It is good. Kuck, he’s one of five players over the last 5 years to have a four plus four every single year. Kyle Tucker, I can get used to watching this guy hit. Yeah, boy. This is fun. He’s one of the best right fielders in the game. There’s nothing that he can’t do. Tucker, he’s stuck to landing and he steals a hit. He is a fivetool talent that doesn’t get enough love. There are certain graphics that just make you go, “Wow, I didn’t know the guy was that good.” I know Kyle Tucker is a great player, but look at this. Compared to two Hall of Famers, few fewest crew strikeouts with 100 more homers, 100 more stolen bases, 500 or better slug percentage. How about Goose in that hat? He was hitting the streets hard after games. Yeah, it’s sideways. Oh, he was. Hey, it’s time for a Greg’s list presented by Ricola. He played this game yesterday with Kyle Schwarber. Had him going eventually to the Chicago Cubs. according to Craigslist. But now, let’s do it with King Tuck. Okay, Kyle Tucker. The best fits, most likely destination for Kyle Tucker in free agency. So, let’s play the game. I gave seven teams that I personally think are a fit, but I ranked them in order of most realistic. Okay, number seven. Remember yesterday’s show, I had sure we’re going to the Cubs, which means Oh, yeah. That that ship sailed, right? Big time. Yeah, it fans are like throwing stuff in the TV right now. Would have gotten it done way earlier. This this this wouldn’t have hashed out through the offseason. I mean, this would have gotten done first two months of the season, which is crazy because he was an MVP caliber player in the first half of the season. Yeah, I’m with you. Then injuries and he struggled. I also think that the team has kind of taken different routes because of what happened this season. Pitching was a problem. So, I think for me, they’re more concerned about pitching and letting the young guys go out there and produce and be in right field than having that guy. All right, so we have the Cubs number seven on Greg’s list. Most likely destination for Kyle Tucker. Number six, they got deep pockets, the New York Mets. I I wouldn’t be shocked if they came in late and just outbid everyone. And if you put Tucker in this lineup, I know it’s lefty heavy. It that’s my only problem is lefty heavy, but I think again their concerns is we need starting pitching. I know you love a guy like Tucker and you love the power and you love the offense, but you’ve got to have the lead and keep the lead and that starts if this starting pitching free agent class is going to be a a quick fix for Amber Valdez maybe. I just don’t know. All right, so I’ve got I’ve got the Mets number six. Number five, sneaky Seattle Mariners. They got a taste of victory. They jumped out earlier on Josh Naylor. They got a lot of right-handed bats. Cal Raleigh a switch hitter. You put Kyle Tucker in between the big dumper and Julio Rodriguez. I I like this a lot. And you know, people don’t know this, but for the for the Seattle Mariners, that stadium, it’s made for lefty. It’s not made for a righty. Much better for a lefty to hit. I like this move a lot. Okay. So, I I thought about putting them closer to number one cuz I once they started thinking about Hey, are the Mariners going to pay for a guy like Kyle Tucker? It’d be amazing if they did. Um, all right. in front of the Mariners and number five or number four the Baltimore Orioles. We keep hearing that they’re going to spend money and there was they’re connected interest to Kyle Schwarber. Why not go big? Well, and my goodness, look what he would do to this. He’ll be the presence. He’ll be the veteran guy. You can kind of just he he’ll carry a team for a whole month. That’s what he does. And when you have a young team like this and look, the time is ticking right now with Gunnar Henderson. They’ve got to win now and they have to have somebody in that middle of that lineup to do those big things that he’s done. So, I have the Orioles number four in the C. Man, this is getting dicey. Now, this is where it gets really good. At number three, they will offer a ton of money. I just don’t think the Toronto Blue Jays are going to get it done. No, but it’ll be close. He’s going to have to consider it cuz they’re going to throw a hefty payday at him. If you put Cal Tucker in this lineup, it it fits so beautifully. What a lineup. It fits so beautifully. But is it what they need right now? Toronto Blue Jays, one of the best offensive teams in baseball. Do they need Kyle Tucker or do they need or do they need to figure out their bullpen? What’s more important? I think the bullpen’s a quicker fix than Sure is slug and he would provide more. Imagine Edwin Diaz in a Toronto Blue Jays uniform. That puts them now in a situation cuz they’ve got the hitting, they’ve got the defense, and now they’ve got the weapon in the ninth inning. All right, so the Blue Jays number three on the Kyle Tucker sweep stakes on Greg’s list. Number two, the Dodgers. They’re not number one. Oh, yeah. I can’t believe you don’t have them number one. I I have them number two. Oh, and and here’s why. Slam dunk for me. They I think they’re they like the other team I’m going to talk about are going back and forth on Bellinger and Tucker. And they had Cody Bellinger before. I think Cody Bellinger could go back to the Dodgers. He can, but I like Kyle Tucker. And I like Kyle Tucker not in left field, but in right field. Move to Oscar Hernandez to left field a little bit better. Give me the gold glover in right field. All right, we have the Dodgers. Number two on Greg’s list for Kyle Tucker. Number one, I think this is the perfect fit. Everything about him screams pinstripes. I have Kyle Tucker to the New York Yankees. It is It is for a lefty like Kyle Tucker who loves to pull the baseball in the air. Kyle Tucker is perfect for the Yankees. I I I really do. I I really think this is a guy that will fit like a glove. Give me Kyle Tucker to the Yankees or the Dodgers. I like I I still think the Dodgers are a better fit and I think they go there. They pay that hefty price to go get a guy like Kuck. I look at you said Windows remember Gunnar Henderson four window the Aaron Judge contract I want to ensure that there is a legit slugger on the on deck circle behind Aaron Judge for the remainder of his contract. You give him a massive deal for 400 million you’re going to guarantee that they need the next best thing to Sodto and when Sodto was there they got to the World Series. They need the best available which is Kyle Tucker. Give me Kyle Tucker to hit in front of Aaron Judge. This team will be a lot different. It’ll kind of feel like, you know, not not the Sodto like, but it’s it’s pretty close. After those Sunny Gray anti- Yankee comments, this made all of our Yankee viewers happy again. I like this. Yeah. All right. Listen, it made it smile. You said it.
