Flames vs. Predators | NHL Highlights | December 02, 2025
who once was a Milwaukee Admiral. He has
played six of the last seven games now. He’d only played five up to then. It was
supposed to be Dustin Wolf all season long, but he’s had the hot hand big time. Jonathan
Marchel back in the lineup for the Predators, and he’s working with Philip Forsber and Eric
Paula. Underway here in Nashville. Last time out, Carolina lost in overtime Sunday against the
Carolina Hurricanes. Predators lost Saturday night against the Winnipeg Jets. Here’s a turn and fire
by Holla. Kicked out the rebound. Aussie Wislat. The puck came his way. He tried to just drill it.
Now back up the other way. Here come the Flames. They take control. This is Blake Coleman. Fired
it through the traffic. Jussi Sus with the stop. Here’s Buck for both of these teams. Calgary’s on
the way up. Prett of the last three. You’re you’re never out of it at this point. Shot from the point
by defenseman Braden Pal. Asheville avoids the too many nets with good communication. They were
in the process of a line change. And there’s that impact. There’s that impulse, I’m sure, to
grab that loose puck. Here’s Bunting with a loose puck. He fires it off the glove of Kulie. Pulley
with a 931 save percent, which is very high in this NHL with the average save percentage is under
90. Now, here come the Flames. That shot. Soros looking for the rebound. It’s still loose. He had
to kick it out on a followup and Bunting is able to shelter behind the net. Yeah, you you know you
you you have time to make a play but if you don’t move to the right spot to make that play you won’t
have that one deflects off of Flame it on net. He kicks out to H. defeats Fitchko. Fra got the shot
away. Rebound score. First and goal. Reed Zipper. He was knocking on the door on
Saturday and tonight he breaks through. Right here. You can just see going to
the net. We’re talking about the skill and Reed Schaefer has been all over the
net front. He’s had a couple really great chances in this same fashion and finally
gets to the front of the net. He’s a big man. He’s tough to move. Uses his reach and
just right around Deon [ __ ] and taps it in. That was our Uber Eats first goal of the game.
Paula with a good play from behind to prevent a Hubo chance. And here they come again. Yosi
pounds one. Save. [ __ ] Rebound. That one kicked into a dangerous scoring area. Sent back out by
the Flames. And Cadri is on the other side of Wilsby and he draws a penalty. Sharon Govich
follows up. Save Sorrowos. A welcome sight. They’ve been falling behind constantly in games.
And Reed Schaefer got his first NHL goal. Let’s see if it lasts. Shot from the outside. Glance
off of Sorrowos. He went down. This is the last game of a fivegame road trip for the Flames. And
they have played well in all five. They’re 2-1 and one. They played some heavyweights here. Cadri a
turnaround shot off the body of Soros. lead cara and coach here comes the van leiso trying to
anchor down scramble in front of the net and the nets knocked off the pegs we reaching for
the p able to get it past Stanos Johnny Beecher trying to clear it’s kept in by Forsber popped
way up in the air and gloved by the 6’5 [ __ ] penalty is over Nashville with some good action
there went right past the puck as he skated over the bench and Nashville resumes the attack for
Burr whips it through the net he’s got I think he’s at the point now. He’s arrived. He’s not an
underdog anymore. He’s shown everyone he can do it. Here’s a steal and feed ahead. Hubo behind the
D. Hubo stopped by Soros. Oh, in the first period, a breakaway. You see Sorrowos, Jonathan Hubedo
right there. And Sars and then Stamco comes back, clears the rebound. And Hubo came back to the
bench. He’s still looking at it on the jumbo truck right now shaking his head. He didn’t know
how that didn’t go in. And away. And Stamos knocks that puck away. Big player overs skated by the
Predators. Another two-on-one. Here comes Clapka. He fires it and knocks the stick out of the hand
of Sorrowos. Tripped up somehow. Gets back in. Maros. So now around for St. Got to watch out
here. This that rebound was there for a second. For Wood swoops in, grabs it. Wood tried to go
back post against the grain to a cutting fetchoff. Taken out by the Flames. The Flames have numbers
again. Baraby approaches, shoots in and out of the globe. Sorrows and cleared by Glankenberg. But
they’re just waiting for you to turn the puck over and then they’re going, everybody’s back
and then they just explode offensively. Here come the Flames again. Another save for Sorrows.
This one on Anderson. We mentioned it’s about as hard a hit as I’ve seen Stassley deliver in an
NHL game. Now in a change. Nashville’s going to catch him. It’s O’Reilly. He’s behind the
D. Feeds it over. eventually turn to front. Steven Stamco play. They spring the
break out. Back there sets him. He’s got Evangelisa. And then how about the patience
from Evangelisa? He’s not going to waste a shot cuz Kohley’s there. He waits, goes to the
backside and gives Stampos the easy tap in. Well, I love too. O’Reilly saw Evangelist at the
blue line, gets it over and then even Cadra makes contact on Evangelis and he’s still able to get
that puck to Stampos for the empty net. And to put that in context, that’s a lot of points.
Thank you, Skily. That’s why we have you in the booth to give the Predators this two nothing
lead. Evangelista continues to pile up the points. That shot handled easily by S. That was a 30
goal scorer. 35 something like that. Okay. So, took 17 years, but I got there. Follow up shot. I
had one. They knew right after. Usually when the players reaction, you can see that wasn’t going
to go in. It’s close. You let it go. That should be the rule of thumb. Here’s Shake. I’m just so
glad that the NHL does that now and teams fly the parents in. I never got that opportunity for
my first game. I don’t know if you did, Skillsy. They didn’t do it back then, but now I just such
a special moment that you know they now Yosi attacks. Hunt trying to shadow him as best he can.
Yosi looking for a lane. Rotates over Maras. So Jonathan Maraso back in the lineup and back in
the goal scoring column. Three nothing Nashville. play, but Maro back in the lineup
tonight and making it count. Some good offensive zone pressure and they get
a broken stick and they take advantage of it. And then Mario stepping in using a bit
of a screen there. He’s got Phil in front, but he just lasers this one through the legs
of of the of the defenseman. And then just a frustrating point for Dryen Hunt as he did
everything perfectly. And that’s that puck had eyes and got right through his wickets. Now
Punting driving, slides it over. They score. It’s Azie. His first in the NHL. Aussie Wislat. Oh, what a great moment for the Wislat family.
And certainly Aussie doing the right thing, going to the net hard. Beautiful play there
from Bunting. Get that over and then Aussie just battling through cuz gets a stick on it. Puts
it in the back of the net. You can see the relief just coming as soon as he scores that goal. Right
up to the heavens. That’s exact. There you go. Right there. There it is. That is points to the
side. Exactly. I think uh you saw Reed Schaefer, he blocked out and now we got to play physical
hard getting under team skin and then Schaefer dummy. Oh my god, that’s a good hit. That’s an
NHL hit. And now he’s got to answer the bell. And he does. The gloves are off and he’s throwing
the right jabs in the headlock. He’s going after it. It’s a little little mini chase. a little lid
into his team even though they had the lead after the first. He’s got a good response here. Yeah,
that’s when you got to do it, too. I mean, there’s been a lot of times they could have done it this
season. Now, room for wood again. He fires away on cooling. So, another young player trying to get in
on the ass. His mom raising him. It’s incredible. It’s It’s uh It’s remarkable. That one got
through Sorrows. Follows it to the trap. O’Reilly outlet pass. Yos leading the rush. Works it
over. Stamos test the goalie followed up by Evangelista. Sam who’s going through uh you know
dealing with all that grief from his brother. Had a great training camp and then finally got
his opportunity and he hasn’t looked back. I mean they they sent Zack Laroo down who had
a great tornado around him. Of course. Zach Laroo injured right now. Yeah. Can’t wait
to see both those guys in the lineup. Yeah. Now we’ll see if the Piers can play the complete
60. You might recall the last time they won a home game was against the Flames. Here’s Forsber.
A quick release from Yos. They scored a couple goals and and they kept going and we’ve seen
it the other way where they score that goal and give one up right away. There’s another point
playing chance. A good feed from Stamco. You know, it’s a lot different. You just go out there
and play the game. Josie skates around the defender like he wasn’t there and gets it
back to Jo. Trail Wilsby rebound score. Michael Bunting right man, right spot and
the Pengers have added to the lead as Bunting continues a good stretch of hockey off the shot
clock but Willby gets it towards the net. Good things happen off the back hand from that center
too. That was one thing he has played a lot of center since we injured. He’s been a good utility
guy for the Reds. Andrew Bett was was sort of asking that question. You’re going to have to be
accountable for if you’re going to do something or take a take a cheap shot at someone, you’re going
to have to answer the bell and and all of this happening. You know, this puck in front of stopped
there by Wolf, which is okay if you just switch back when you can and they’ve adjusted now. Now
O’Reilly’s back up top. Fooled me for a second. Here’s an old look pass. Chip towards the net.
Good save. Sorrows. Flames retreat. Cadri wheels it in front. They score. Frost on a beautiful pass
from Nasam Cadri. So the Flames break through and it’s 5-1 with 621 to go. From Kadri gets everyone
selling out on the back door. I think that’s one that Willsby’s got to come down and take that
high slot and leave Wilsby to the back door. But tip your hat for him. And you know what? Uh
I I want to look at the penalty. The ref say, “Hey, can somebody hit go on this clock?”
They’re going to let it expire here. So, a little delayed celebration. out on the ice
and they will congratulate a win for Jussi

The loser bowl
This was a hard watch
Weisblatt gets his first goal on his hometown team and the flames get one step closer to McKenna. It's a good day for Calgary and indeed the world.
The battle of the bums
sounds weird, but glad that we lose
Losing to Nashville….I had that on my wishlist.
As an Oilers fan, I will point out that the Flames got blown out 😂😂😂😂😂
Keep TANKING
Finally a preds game I can watch
Flames on training day,
Atta flames, way to do it in regulation for the preds
Whenever I hear the name Weisblatt I'm reminded of them being arrested for playing hockey on an outdoor rink in Calgary during covid. A low point for our city for sure.
