BAD NEWS FOR THE RED WINGS & CANUCKS: MARCO KASPER, LUKAS REICHEL & MORE
[Music] Oh boy. Okay. No, I already did a Sabrina Carpenter thing earlier in the month. Uh yeah, no, that’s not even the first time we’ve referenced Manchild. But that’s the best way to start out this video. Oh boy. Because when it comes to the Vancouver Conucks and the Detroit Red Wings, we had ourselves an update from who is the guy that posts these? Smash Bros. 13. That’s who it is. Who went out there and posted the best and the worst team of the month in the National Hockey League. Now, if you’ve been following this YouTube channel over the past few years, you have probably seen Smash Bros. 13 and his posts pop up once in a while. What he does is he compiles the NHL’s hockey stats cards, ratings over the course of a season or a month or a week or whatever and then publishes the best and the worst team of that segment. Because we just wrapped up November, we have the teams of the month both in the best and worst fashion. And just starting things out over here, I mean, the best team of the month is quite self-explanatory. Over here, you’ve got Jason Robertson, Nathan McKinnon, Marty Nus, all these guys with pretty high game scores via hockeystatcards.com. A lot of the names on the defensive side as well also are pretty understandable there. Jacob Chitrin is such a beast. Oh my goodness, he’s amazing. Not to mention the goalending. Yaroslav, Ascarov going out there and dominating the National Hockey League. Swayman is there, too. So, for all intents and purposes, these guys have been pretty good. But hey, if you look at the worst team of November, these are the players that had the worst hockey stat cards, game scores in the games of the month. The first line of the absolute worst players in November was Barklay Goodro, Marco Casper, and Ryan Reeves. Each with the lowest positional stat card game scores over here. Goodro was a minus 6. Casper was a minus 9, and Ryan Reeves was a minus 5.49. That’s not great. Following on, you’ve got Miles Wood, Igor Chinoikov, Lucas Reichel on that second line with Trent Frederick, Ben Jones, Isaac Lindestrom, John Beecher, Zaka Stapuk, and Liam Ugrren rounding out the forward core for the worst team in November. And uh yeah, no, there’s a Red Wing and there’s a Kuck. Not great. The Decor gets even worse because you look at the worst defenseman in the National Hockey League in the month of November. It was Albert Johansson with a minus8.48 game score. That’s terrible. He was double the amount of bad that Marco Casper was, which is absolutely the worst level of bad out of anybody in the league. Second place was Brett Koulak with a -6.66 rating. Third place, Tyler Meyers of the Vancouver Conucks with a minus6.1. And then you have Travis Hamick with a minus 14.3. Another Red Wing. Philip Meyers and Alexander Romanov round out the bottom of the lineup here. And big honorable mention to Elias Patterson who also was listed in that honorable mention slot. And I guess he was also one of the worst Dmen in the league this previous month. And honestly, based off the way he has played, I can’t really say I’m surprised. He hasn’t been good this season. And then unfortunately enough, the worst goalender in the National Hockey League in November was Jakob Dovash, which I guess you can say makes sense when you look at it purely from an analytical point of view. I’d say the Dallas game in particular was one that really tanked Dobish’s value. You got to remember this is for the entire month of November, not just for a recent sample. Sure, Dobbish had some good wins against Toronto and Utah, but total stinkers against Washington and Dallas, plus the bad start to the month as well with the overtime loss to New Jersey, which just totally shattered his confidence and caused the guy to cry in the postgame interview. Not great, I’d say, but really, if we’re being honest, I mean, Yakob Dobish had some good games in there. I think his score against Dallas, the game score that he had with the 600 something save percentage, that probably was the kicker, that was so negative that it just brought his entire November profile down. But this isn’t a Canadian’s video. Let’s talk about the three Red Wings and the two Vancouver Conucks. Three, if you want to say Elias Patterson was on the honorable mention list. Yeah, DPD ain’t great. Maybe it’s because of the pressure. Maybe it’s because of the systems that Adam Foot is implementing. But, uh, yeah. No, he does not look good. Making bad decisions with the puck. Not really in the right spots. This is not the same DP that we saw at the end of last season come into the Vancouver lineup and actually take over certain shifts. There still is that snarl in the physicality, which is appreciated as a Vancouver Conucks fan, but he can use some work. Same you could say about Tyler Meyers who is not benefiting either from the Vancouver Conucks systems at play. It’s all about systems, right? Systems, systems, systems and Adam Foot doing things in a way that’s supposedly the same comparative to last year, even though we can clearly see that it’s not. I don’t know what they’re talking about, man. Vancouver was a much better defensive team last year, even though they were quite the tough locker room to deal with, but this year with the Canucks PK being so abysmally bad, like one of the worst PKs I think we have ever seen on Vancouver ice, Tyler Myers is always a part of that. So whenever they get caved in, whenever they get goals scored against with every other penalty kill being a goal for the opposite team, yeah, you’re going to have some bad defensive metrics when it comes to these guys. So it makes sense in my mind. Lucas Riel though is absolutely deserving of being here because this guy, I don’t know if you noticed, but no, you probably didn’t notice because you won’t notice anything this guy does. He literally goes out there and just does nothing. Every opportunity Riel gets, he fumbles. Sure, he was under a point per game with Chicago when he was traded to Vancouver, but he’s got one point in 14 games with the Vancouver Conucks. He has done nothing of value. Yes, he is sort of fast, but he can’t keep up with the puck. He can’t bury the opportunities that he’s given. He gets into areas and he finds the shot, but he just isn’t able to score. He’s got one assist in 14 games. And that’s all you need to know out of a guy that was supposed to be a reclamation first round caliber prospect coming over to Van to help out with this young core and transition that they’re trying to do. He isn’t good. I’m sorry. Then you have yourselves the Detroit Red Wings guys. Marco Casper. Yeah, he was the worst forward in the National Hockey League this previous month. And you can say that he has gone through similar things that Lucas Reichel has this season. Kind of invisible, lack of confidence. He just doesn’t look like he is a guy that belongs right now. He obviously does have the skills and the talent. Things that I can’t necessarily say about Lucas Reichel, but Marco Casper looks like he is his own worst enemy at the moment, even though he is doing some pretty reasonably good things. forchecking, hitting guys, doing some reasonable defensive work. But unfortunately, when your line’s going out there and getting scored against, that’s when you’re going to end up on this list. And Marco Casper does do exactly that. And you can say the same thing about Albert Johansson. He’s been having a pretty rough year. But of course, the fact that he is with Travis Hamick maybe makes it a little bit worse for him. It’s not like anybody can just go out there and atone for the sins of Travis Hamick, who was also listed on this list over here. He has not been good. And I think a lot of Red Wings fans have been clamoring for Jacob Bernard Docker to be the full-time guy in that spot. Instead, it’s been quite the narrative, I’d say. But Albert Johansson, look, we can give him time. He is still young. Same thing with Marco Casper. And hell, by that logic, you can say same thing with Lucas Reichel and the Vancouver Conucks. These guys are young. I’d say that Johansson and Casper, at the very least, they have shown off the talent with the teams that they’re on at the moment to give themselves the benefit of the doubt. Riel has not earned that with the Vancouver Conucks. Travis Hamick, on the other hand, is just not good. And I mentioned that when the Vancouver Conucks traded this guy over to Ottawa, when the Detroit Red Wings were able to sign this guy in the offseason. We’ve made videos about Hamik this entire time he has been in the National Hockey League starting with his time in van and every single time I’m like, “Yeah, no, the guy’s not good. The guy stinks.” And what we end up getting legitimate confirmation of that a month into the NHL regular season over here. So, Red Wings fans, Canucks fans, let me know your thoughts in the comments section below about the players on these teams being labeled on the worst team of the month of November list. What are your thoughts about this conclusion over here? Let me know in the comments all your opinions. I hope you enjoyed this video and bye. [Music] [Music]

Let's go Red Wings!!
Hamonic!! You just made the list ‼️ 🖊️📜
I bet you if we sign Ryan Johansen tomorrow out of semi-retirement, he would still put out more points than Reichel 1 points in 14 games, and Kampf 0 points in 6 games. Anyone else want to bet? 🤣
Canucks need new D coach. Team does nor box out well at all, slot is open many time a game. D guys are chasing the puck Richiel is not the problem. Myers and Pettersson D senior is the problem. Both out to lunch five six times a game.
