Canucks vs. Avalanche | NHL Highlights | December 02, 2025

I like him an awful lot. And here we go. Abs
looking for another two points to tack on to the 42 they already have as the puck is down. Comes
to Quinn Hughes. Well, we’re about to expand the boot so I could fit in it and then he got the
coaching job just in time. Brock B will drop it off. Sherman with a shot. Saved by Wedgewood. I
was just going to say I think that’s the old Broad Street goal. He’s a little different look than
the current day Colorado Avalanche. Here’s Burns in the slot with a shot. Glove by Lankin and he’s
going to hold on. Back for Big Bell. Walks in and shoots. Saved by Lake and got it in the Orca and
he’ll hold on. That’s 11 goals in just 13 games in the month of November. Vancouver. Centering
pass. Score. The Conucks on the board. First is Carlson. Able to de out Scott Wedgewood and put it
home. And the Conucks have the one- nothing lead for Carlson. That’s his fifth goal of the season.
Dennis Carlson is a ridiculous talent here for the Vancouver Conucks. He had 26 points in 24 games,
helping the Abbottzford Conucks to a Calder Cup last year. He’s only played 51 games here in the
National Hockey League. Sweet little cross pass and this entire line lit it up for Abbottzford.
It was the song in the middle. They’ve kept him together here at the National Hockey League level.
They have chemistry playing fourth line miss this year. Also had one in the game against Colorado
on November 9th. Tremendous talent right here. You nailed it into the slot. That’s the flushing
wide. Quick shot right through the crease and Vancouver’s really bringing it right now. Beam
of a human right there. Just a beauty. Quick shot stop by Wwood. Loose Park. You see Vancouver
sorted out well, guys. It could scare guys into being just absolutely amped for that opening
draw knowing that if you’re not ready, the abs will jump on you two, three nothing before you
can blink. Here comes Duskin in a backand flank. Weren cross ice pass off the boards. Corout
by nature. He’ll find Mar. A lot of time left. Time stop by Lan in. He’ll paddle it away. Those
goalies get out of their butterfly and they get that paddle going so quickly to get that puck out
of there. Wrapped up top. Macar able to hold on. Kale finds Marty Nes looking for a tally stopped
by Lincoln and he’ll hold on. Landisk was funny bounce in the corner. Wrap around for McKinnon.
ABS have room, but can they get more shots in front by Lakin? Point blank on Landisk. What a
pass by McKinnon. Nius finds Marlos and shoots. It’s blocked wide. Camp broke his stick. Abs need
to get to this puck. Knocked down by Nas. Slammed across. McKinnon will pick it up. Camp has a new
play into the bumper. Got through Linen. Get back up top. Mar 25 to go. Wrist shot saved by Lanin
and it’s spun up and out. Fired by Burton in the corner. Had a lot on that. He’ll help out. Feeds
Taves. Long wrist shot stopped by Lan. It’s back in behind the net by Colton. Oh, Lankin. That was
a funky save with his catching glove. Long shot saved by Lankin with a right pass. Whacked that by
the abs as Kelly took a hit. He was appears to be okay. Swipe across. Molinsky walking in and shoots
and a save by Lankin. Molinsky made the pinch has it in the skates of the referee. He’ll dangle the
bottom of the circle and shoot save it and he got him in the beak. Here’s McKinnon. He’s firing
everything at the net. Part of the reason why I believe Gabe Lannis was at it. Here’s a gave it up
on Rishad there. Glove by Wedge with an easy save up now for Manson. Tried to give it across. That
hit escape. Burns risking it a little bit. Watch out. Sherwood on the breakaway. Shoot. What a save
by he flashes the pad. Flashes the glove. Makes the save. Both about it. You can see Brent Burns.
Little spin trying to get the puck and passer. Puts it ahead to keeper Sherwood right here.
Just misses it not once but twice. And Sherwood making the one move going glove side. Wedgewood
goes full extend by Squid Hills torn out of his own. Hughes stopping, turning and firing. Save by
Wedgewood right in midair. Oh my goodness. Kale McCar down goes Patterson has pick it up. Drury
trying to set it up top. Couldn’t do it. Now does for Macar walking and count shoots off the iron.
He just caught the post. Oh Mar who’s leading all defenseman in scoring in the NHL. The Brusk is in
and the back shot and the stopped by Wwood change again. The ABS have been stuck on 12 shots on goal
for quite a while. Besser down the forwards. It’s keeper Sherwood with a ring shot blocker saveky
sends it up to his blue line just finds Tes. Gives it off. Here’s the chushkin. Big foul. Peeling
and turning. Minsky shoots. Save rebound. Score. Nathan Min waiting for the rebound and he pops it
home to tie the game at one with 37 seconds left in period one for McKinnon. Just didn’t know it
was going to be on a Nathan McKinnon. Here comes foul into the zone. Spins around back up to the
point shot deflection and there’s Nathan McKinnon just chipping one in once again. How did he know
where the puck was going to go? And just fights his way through a check. bury that into the wide
open net. Sam Malinski, great shot. Devont Taves with the apple. Valentin won’t factor in on the
scoreboard, but without him that play. Yeah, there is a pretty big target in there. It’s a
good point. Sherwood off for Hughes. Slot saved by Wedgewood for Sherwood down to one knee. Down
to the final three seconds. The only shot on goal so far in this power play. Hugh shoots. Saved by
Wedgewood. ought to be going wide and now Connor took a hit and put it right back to Luckan
the Canucks bench. Gives it up for McKinnon. He’ll race it on the road and pull it shoots and
it’s safe by Lenin. I love that quick hesitation by McKinnon making the defenseman get out of the
way. Here’s McKinnon looking firing off the leg. picked up by Nius. Marty Nius turns it down
deep and a good redirect by Lack and it went patient Stewart at Rick White misses the first
one there with a shot. It’s club by Wedgewood and he’ll hold on. Fires and Drury in the far
corner. Skips up top. Long shot Manson stopped by Lank and again right in the head of the Orca all
the way around to the point. Burns will activate down the boards. Brent Burns throws it in front.
Saved by Lenin. What a pass for Olivesson. Brent Burns right to the Blue Penguin. Burns is so
good. He looks like he’s going to go around the net. Just fires a little deceptive pass to
the front. Almost gets the deflection. Riker, that vision is terrific still. Yeah, it is.
And a Bolson just could have located that. I think he had a wide open chance to go with that
rebound, but it was stuck in his feet in no man’s cold racing. Here’s Ross Copen. Turns and fires.
Stopped by Lanin. That puck sort of crossed him up. Got the blocker and the glove on it at the
same time. Landiskov twisting and turning now for Drury. Wants to go to the point. Has to cycle
it off. Landiskov wrenched on shielding with his body. He’ll reverse direction on big Tyler
Meyers. Not an easy thing to do. Landiskov late keep away is Gerard. Jury with a shot and
a kick save by Lincoln. Bolinsky couldn’t put it on net. It’s brought ahead by the Conucks and
Evander Kane. He’ll try the wing this time out of the middle of the ice. Dished it off. Taken by
Hughes. Gave it up. Shot. Saved by Wedgewood. Cass was there. Back-to-back day games at the
Rangers and the Flyers on Saturday and Sunday. Then we’ll finish up Tuesday at Nashville.
Here comes the captain. Landisto Nelson down the slot. Shoots and scores. He dropped the leg.
He made the spring and then he fires past Lyan in front Nelson with a tally and the Ess have a
2-1 lead his ninth of the season. That was pretty the abs net. You see Brent Burns head up and he
backhands this around. Beautiful touch by Ross Colton. You want to know why Vush went to the
third line? But this second line is cranking. Gabe Landisk draws two Vancouver Conucks players
and Brock Nelson four points against Montreal the other night including his 600 breaker. I believe
that’s the old Spice hole. That could be Johnny. It could use came right over challenge game. I
definitely do. This game’s wide open. Turn around shot by Blackwood. Keeper Sherwood with a bomb
on the turnaround and lifts the stick. Makes the seal sauces it ahead. Here comes Colton. fires.
Love by Lykan and oh my goodness, he robs Quinn Hughes. He’s back the other way. Drops it to the
near side. Caught the shoots and it is saved by Len again. Here’s McKinnon. Dishes off. Burns back
to McKinnon. He goes to the long wrist. Stop by Lin and he’ll hold on. Lenin again. Hansen finds
the red line. Threw it into Myers. McKinnon trying to get to it. Lisk does the captain McKinnon. He
scores short side Nathan Man his second goal of the game on the one-time 22nd of the season. And
that was an absolute rocket ship inside the post. Conor cannot get that shot on net. And then this
play led by Josh Manson. Gave Lannis stop head up get slides it on the honey spot. Bring it to
Nathan McKinnon. Watch it on develop. Nate finds a soft ice backs up. Here comes the pass. He’s got
that little six-foot circle around him. Nathan McKinnon now with 22 goals on the season. What’s
remarkable for two periods of play, the ABS had 50 total attempts at the Vancouver Net. Canucks with
31. And when you look at the last several games, guys, there’s a save by Lincoln and a part of it
earned him a contract with Calgary and rightfully so. A big contract. That shot. Muffin kick save
by Blackwood. It somehow got to the front of the net on the butterfly wheel. Reichkes. Sure did.
Gabe Lannisog was playing goender there. Tried to kick that leg up. Missed it but it was a knuckle
special going in at about 40 mph. Almost fooled everyone. Saw flying down the wing trying to
go to the forehand. Stopped by Blackwood short side. What a play by Maxaw. You never know
which direction he’s going with the way his footwork is. His footwork is superb. Lannis Scott
cutting through the captain to the near side. C. Big by Len McKinnon filling in perfect position.
Then here’s Gabe Lanniscott doing his Swedish Viking impersonation coming through five guys.
Ross Colton gets one chance there. Works his way through Baines. Abs are on side. Kelly deep and
peeling. Lar walks now. Shoots. Saved by Lan. Buck down. Burns turns and jams it and hit
Atlanta. Watch out. Saved by Blackwood. Carlson looking for his second of the game. Dishes for
Mar. Two to go, one to go. And that will do it. The Colorado Avalanche remained unbeaten
in regulation on the home ice this
