POST-RAW | Connor McDavid 12.02.25

how you I mean it seemed like the last two periods especially he had the puck a lot in their end. Uh just how do you look at the opportunities you had this evening? Uh yeah I mean we had some looks um thought they their goalie played well there they defended hard um just maybe not clean enough to uh to score in a game like that. I mean he’s obviously on a hot streak as a goalender but how how were they in terms of defending the slot maybe compared to some other teams you’ve seen? Uh Yeah, they defended well. Obviously, they’re playing well. The goal is playing well. They’re doing a lot of really good things. Um, yeah. Did you like a lot about your team game? Um, yeah. I mean, I thought we Yeah, we uh, as I said, generated looks, only gave up one. Usually when you give up one, you’re going to win a lot of games. We didn’t. Overall, just the quality of the offensive looks that you had tonight, Connor. Was it uh what do you think what you guys were able to generate overall and the the danger level you were able to create? Yeah, maybe not the most great a grade a chances, but um you know, we definitely threw pucks there. Um had some looks, pass some away myself more than anybody. Um so you mentioned passing those away, Connor. Um you you’ve talked lots about you you want to shoot more. What kind of what did you see there that led you to want to pass it rather than fire? I stand on the backside. So, obviously trying to get him the puck. Um, but yeah, I can take those. And you guys are trying to find your game and and stack good games on each other. Just because you lose, does it not I mean, can you count this as a good game stacked on the last good game? Do you you know what I mean? If you are you building something here? Yeah, you know, I thought there were some good signs. Um, played real solid in Seattle. I thought we played another pretty decent one here today. That’s a good sign.

  1. Here is the problem with the oil and it has always been like this. Their goaltending is sporadic up and down. Sometimes for very shorts spurts their goaltending is exceptional or very good which leads people to back off the real problem of sporadic goaltending. Other than leon and connor they just dont have the forward depth. There was a period when we did with RNH and Hyman were clicking on all cylinders and that took us to consecutive stanley cup finals appearances where BOB was the better goaltender. If our goaltending was equal to floridas we would have won consecutive cups not Florida. Get rid of Trent Fred and trade RNH for a first or high draft picks.

  2. Oilers playing one of the best teams in this season , Oilers played very well , the only goal was a blast in off the faceoff. Only one goal is improvement in consistency .

    Good job guys.

Stu, glove hand has to come up faster . other than that, great effort by everyone .

  3. Someone show McDavid footage of how Mack plays and how amazing he is. Maybe that will wake up whoever the hell we have been watching for nearly 2 full seasons now

  4. The Oilers had a few chances, but the "other goalie" was better again.πŸ˜‚

and I have a feeling that if the Oilers don't make the playoffs this year, Knob will be fired.😜
