It’s HAPPENING…
The New York Yankees master plan has just been revealed and this is absolutely massive for the team as it shows the Yankees going allin on trying to win a World Series even if it costs them some of their most prized possessions. end with Brian Cashman and the Yankees trying to capitalize on the end of these Aaron Judge prime years. There’s a lot to discuss with this as this is a very bold strategy the Yankees have here that would cost them some prospects and some talent and some money, but at the same time also puts them into position to really have a phenomenal clearcut favorites in the American League team next season. And we are going to go over this plan, how they work it out, all of the underlying factors that it has and also some subsequent moves that it’ll ultimately lead to as well. Guys, there is a whole lot to discuss on this, but before we jump into it, if you’re part of that 69% that’s not subscribed to Yankees Digest, make sure to go ahead and subscribe so you don’t miss a single New York Yankees update. We got videos coming out every single day from myself and from Alex, and you don’t want to miss out on all the great content that we got. But let’s jump into the video. There is a lot to discuss on the team right now because the Yankees master plan has been revealed. This guy right here and ownership between Brian Cashman, House Stein Brener, and everyone else in the New York Yankees organization. We now see exactly what they want to do this off season. acquiring talent on multiple different levels from multiple different positions and also continuing to build the best roster possible so the Yankees can ultimately go out there and play World Series level baseball. And guys, diving right into that, the first part of this move to go over is the fact that as Jim Bowden revealed, Sandy Alcantara of the Miami Marlins has a legitimate shot of being traded to the New York Yankees. Bowden said, I know they’ve had a lot of discussions. I think about this for a minute. Think of this for a minute. New York could sign Kyle Tucker in free agency and then trade Spencer Jones for Alcantara, making an absolute super team right here. Now, as we know, Sandy Alcantara over the last couple of years has not been the same dominant force that he was prior. Alcantara did struggle for a good portion of this season and many did fear that his best days are long behind him and the once unanimous Sai Young is no longer that guy anymore. Now, Marlins fans absolutely love him and Alcantara did start to pick it up, but on the season it was not great. He had a 5.36 erra with a whip of 1.271. Overall, the whip’s not that bad and he started to pick it up as time went on, finishing with an 11 and 12 record, which for the Marlins is not bad at all. In 31 starts, he proved he could stay healthy. But the question was, is he still able to be that elite arm? Can we add him on to a roster or a rotation that’s going to have Garrett Cole, Max Freed, Cam Schlitler, Carlos Rodon, all guaranteed with spots? Do you then use that final one likely trading Will Warren to the Marlins in the process to land Sandy Alcantara while also then going out there and trying to sign Kyle Tucker as well when even bringing in Cody Bellinger also would be an absolutely huge impact. But here’s the thing, the Yankees, you look at their top prospects right now, their number four ranked prospect, Spencer Jones, is ready to go at that MLB level, even being listed as an MLB player right now because of the guarantee that he’ll be at spring training because the Yankees do want him to be a major league player next season. Elmer Rodriguez Cruz, also listed there, who is a starting pitcher for the Yankees right now, could also find himself involved in some trade talks, but the Yankees would likely not be willing to give up both of these guys for Alcantara, who’s not on a long-term contract. and also has been up and down over the last couple of years, which is something important to note. However, Alcatara in his final eight games got it together and once again became that same guy that everybody knows and fears because Alcantara in 53.2 innings pitched with which is an average of around 78 games. Wow, there is a car that won’t stop honking its horn outside my window. Welcome to New York. But with Alcantara, he’s someone who just really did show at the end of the season once again that he’s able to be that guy. Having a 2.68 erra, having a whip of a 0.86, the man was putting up those Sai Young numbers that he put up in 2022 when he won the award. He showed he still is that guy and that he could bounce back and still be as good as any pitcher in the MLB. If the Yankees added him and got this version of him, then their rotation would be terrifying. And Garrick Cole is still obviously an ace level pitcher. Max Freed is an ace level nearsi young level pitcher. Carlos Rodon was excellent for the Yankees and was an all-star for a reason. Cam Schlitler looks like a future ace of the Yankees. And then on top of that, bringing in Alcantara would be absolutely massive for the Yankees right now, which we have to consider. Now, on top of that, yeah, the Yankees would have to trade Spencer Jones to get him. Or would they? I’m not so sure. I think the Yankees could trade Will Warren and likely another pitcher as well. Maybe even Elmer Rodriguez Cruz or maybe somebody else in that top prospect list. But Jones, he’s very important to the Yankees because the Yankees, they do have a bunch of outfielders including Trent Gishamman. They’re likely the Yankees, I do imagine one of Kyle Tucker or Cody Bellinger will be in pinstripes next season. So you look at Jones who had a 933 OPS, a 274 batting average, and 35 home runs across two different levels of the Miners while also getting 29 steals. The man is a true center fielder. He’s an elite athlete who can run the bases incredibly well, has a phenomenal arm, is an excellent fielder, and also has shown a lot of power in the bat. The big thing about him is that he strikes out a lot, but he’s a power hitter, so that’s what most power hitters do. Aaron Judge used to do that. There’s always the world where at the end of the day, Jones figures out how to strike out less. We saw that with Judge, so it wouldn’t be the most shocking thing in the world, but also Aaron Judge is a bad guy from comparisons. He’s Aaron Judge. But then also, there’s Kyle Tucker who becomes another part of this. If the Yankees do that and then also sign Kyle Tucker, they will have Jason Dominguez, Trent Gisham, Aaron Judge, and Kyle Tucker as their outfield. Judge and Tucker will obviously be everyday players. And it would be phenomenal. Tucker would slide into either that number two or number three hole depending on who that leadoff hitter is on the day. Like sometimes we saw Bellinger at two, sometimes we saw Judge there. So, it depended on who was hitting first. But we also saw Juan Sto be an everyday number two hitter for the Yankees. the Yankees, if they could find a right-handed leadoff hitter, would be huge. Now, Tucker had a 266 batting average, only hit 22 home runs because he was dealing with an injury and regularly field is incredibly hard to hit home runs in when you’re a lefty hitter. But an 841 OPS and showed that he absolutely is a phenomenal player, which is why he’s going to be getting around $40 million per year because it matters to Tucker and because it matters to teams. He’s that good. But we look at the prospects. What would the Yankees actually have to give up for Sandy Alcantara who hasn’t shown a bunch of consistency recently? Would it be Spencer Jones or would it be something like a Bryce Cunningham and a maybe a Chase Hampton or something? That to me seems a lot more a lot more likely. The Yankees would end up giving up maybe Chase Hampton and Henry Lane. Multiple pitchers back to the Marlins to sort of supplement the fact that they lost Alcantara who again has been up and down. Remember, yeah, he looked very very good at the end of the season. He also looked very very bad for the majority of the season. So the value is not the same and the Yankees should not overpay for Alcantara because they don’t have to. If the Yankees want to add another pitcher, we don’t need someone who is going to be averaging around this at their very best. The Yankees can go out and pay Michael King if they want to, who could easily be their fifth starter and be one of the best fifth starters in baseball. They can make that decision. They can go do that if they want. There are other pitchers who they could trade for who would ultimately cost less. Mitch Keller comes to mind. So, there’s other options. They do have options around the MLB, but right now with that, this would be one insane master plan. But what do you guys think about it? Are you down for it? Do you like it? Do you not like it? Let me know in the comments down below. Like this video, subscribe, turn on post notifications. Have a great day. Go Yankees.

I will believe this when it’s done
I can forsee the Yankees offering something like Luis Gil, Dominguez and/or Jones, and maybe someone like Carlos Lagrange or Elmer
He never got anything right Jim Bowden
he's going to be the next Sonny Gray and Frankie Montas.
Yankees have key holes to fill: Catcher – Reamoto, Third – Bergman, SS – Seager, Closer – ? And, LF – Bellanger.
Just bite the bullet and spend some money (and years) on Imai. Stop trying to be cheap contractually. That's how they screwed themselves choosing Sonny Gray instead of Justin Verlander way back when.
A former star pitcher coming off of a down season – post surgery – is not comforting. Why would the Yankees take a chance on yet, ANOTHER questionable talent. Dominguez deserves an opportunity to play, and it is clear he will not get that chance here. AlCANtara would have been a great get THREE seasons ago.
Sign Imai and King. Trade Dominguez to the Angels for pitching ( relief and depth), then see how Lombard looks in Spring Training. Don't forget about Cabrera coming back from injury. No to Sandy.
This is fake news. I only believe what I read on the Yankees official website.
This guy is full of you know what.
Cashman will dumpster dive again. Steinbrenner can't afford it.
Don't ass kiss Steinbrenner and Cashman the Yankees haven't gone all in since George was running the team
Sign imai trade jones and jasson for tatis jr
Sandy was always Pitching from behind and won 11 games. If he plays with a team that can produce runs for him, he will be fine.
I dont see why eveyone has this fascination with alacantra? We need hitting. We need guys who get on base, dont strikeout and put the ball in play. We have enough starting pitching
For what Alcantara brings to the table, they would be better off committing to Luis Gil, who is younger, has upside, and would not increase their already high payroll.
Trade Domminguez
This is nonsense. Hal is preparing the fanbase to accept that he will do pretty much nothing. Don’t care who he talks to. If he won’t spend he’s getting nothing. I’m done going to games at the stadium or purchasing Yankee merchandise. He’s pretty much saying he doesn’t give a hoot. As my friends 3 year old would say, Damn, I’m done…..
Thanks for the updates…
ok, sooooo Sandy Alcantra is the Yankees BIG PLAN? LOL. Even my Royals have better pitchers available than that. Yankees should be hoping the Royals dont give up too much to Boston for Duran, or NY will be chasing every team in the East.
Back to the Yankees, I have been a long time fan of the Yankees, simply because I grew up watching Reggie and Mattingly and winfield etc., they were always the team coming to KC that we would get tickets for. Having said that, I know my KC team isnt going to get Tucker, so would be fun to watch him crank them out in Yankee Stadium.
A 5.+ era is terrible, I don’t care what team he’s playing for!
Massive has to be your Favorite word!!!!!!
I just hate the thought of trading Jones and Dominguez ☹️
😂😂😂😂😂 we don’t need none of these players we have the best player in the world Anthony Volpe😂😂😂😂😂
finally!!! you hit 10k!! i am so happy for you guys, you disserve every single of those subs and more. your videos help me stay happy when i am down and you guys help me know what's happening with the yankees. next, lets beat those darn blue jays in subs. congrats alex and chris you desserve all this and more.
Start Spencer jones/dominguez in the 3rd outfield spot. Don’t sign bellinger and don’t get tucker. Sign Micheal king and get alcatara if his price is right and we would’ve set for the season.
When have you been right. John Heyman doesn't even know what their doing.
Trade Jason to the Marlins
Spencer plays center in 27.
Trade Jason
wow so your seriously just throwing crap at the wall to see what sticks… get a new job, stop lying purposely to Yankee fans. this is garbage reporting.
There are other pichers they can bring to team and will help them more than Alcantara. I will concentrate all my efforts on signing Tucker and Bellinger both. Tucker to Left field, Bellinger to 1B, Rice to catcher position and sign Edwin Dias to help Bednar. That will give you an excellent team with a real opportunity to win World Series.
Stay with Will Warren. He's a gamer.
