They don’t call it the Norris Hockey League for nothing
Norris is certainly the better player, no doubt there. Just need him to stay healthy, which seems impossible
Norris is definitely the better player if he’s actually playing. Cozens is just such a defensive liability, especially at center (idk why neither Buffalo nor Ottawa has tried moving him to the wing).
The season started way before October 27th, this seems very nitpicky to fit a pro sabres narrative. In the 5 games before the 27th, cozens scored 5 goals..3 even strength. It’s cool we like to shit on cozens but this stat doesn’t prove anything other than bias.
Pretty even trade honestly if you factor in availability
Keep glazing on Norris. Don’t worry he’ll be hurt and on the shelf before you know it
Norris is clearly an upgrade from Cozens.
Cozens could pan out to be a decent NHLer. His performance on the ice and attitude in the locker room left more to be desired.
Too bad it will take Norris 3 years to play 82 games

These analytics are ridiculous. Choosing an interesting date to start the information from. How many games has Norris played again? And do you honestly expect him to stay healthy?
I’m not sure I’ve seen a player card like Norris’ before, where his projected WAR is as high as it is with the EV offensive and EV defensive numbers that low.
Cozens was certainly a player who tried but wasn’t gifted enough to be the player he/we wanted. If Norris can play, the trade is a steal. I won’t shit on Dylan except for that damned vocal fry of his. It’s like he’s auditioning for the Bachelor with that fry.
