Duuude. The Padres could’ve easily shelled out $10 million/year for a SP. Not sure if they would’ve wanted to commit 3 years to a guy who hadn’t pitched in MLB for a while, though. Even still. Felt like he would’ve been great either way Niebla. Padres better get Imai, King, or Suarez now, but that’ll cost more money.
Gives the Jays a surplus of starters, though. AJ is probably already on the phone with them.
Kyle hart all over again. 31 year old that had a little bit of success vs the equivalent of AA teams.
