  2. I know the insinuation here is that maybe Sal could end up at 2nd a lot. I know he made some good plays at the corners last year, but there’s still a lack of polish and confidence from him defensively. I think the gap to being a solid middle infielder is still more than one offseason away for him. I think he can get there eventually, but I wouldn’t bank on him being reliable anywhere but 1st or 3rd in 2026.
