Here he comes. Colton Gordon making that major league debut. Ball game. 3-2. It’s a called third strike. There’s the first strike out in the career of Colton Gordon. My debut was surreal. It was it was uh in between the start and tripleA going back to going to the big leagues. And um it really didn’t hit me until after the fact. The moment of pitching like look you you’re asking me to start the next game like I’m starting a game. Like it felt very like okay like here we go another challenge. You get to compete. But when you sit back after the fact and you realize how many family members have flown in really like look at, hey, I just threw in the big leagues like for the Astros at home. First strike out was against a guy that I’ve played against. Like all these things kind of like add up. It was like, wow, that just happened. And so I’d say the coolest moment is just was learning. I learned a lot. Learned a lot about myself, a lot about the game. And uh and so to take a step back and learn a lot was was pretty cool.
